~Benevolence Bio~

Since I haven't really developed my deer's persona much, I figured I'd start now. So that's what this blog post is going to be for. Don't feel that you have to read it, it's mostly for me so I can lay out his bio and whatnot. Of course, I wouldn't mind feedback from others ^.^

Name: Benevolence

Gender: Male(embodies both male and female, but appears as male.)

Orientation: Asexual (will however go into rut at certain times of the year and chase does around, but it never goes beyond playful flirting/chasing)

Spiritual Beliefs: Very superstitious, has great reverence for the Forest Gods, attuned to the deep magic nature holds and senses the spirits that dwell within the forest, believes that evil spirits lurk in the forest and shape shift into nameless deer to deceive others. Believes the old oak is surrounded by guardian spirits and any creature within the range of its low hum is protected from evil, believes evil spirits cannot approach the old tree. Will not hang around the ruins for prolonged periods of time due to the negative energy that comes from those old, decaying stone walls. He does not wear masks because they interfere with his communication and sensing of spirits and energies. Doesn't believe the forest is endless, somewhere, out there, is more than the forest, in another dimension perhaps. He believes the forest is sealed off from whatever else is out there, a place the Gods have chosen to protect their cervine children.

About Poplar.

About.

This page is the place where I will gather my thoughts on my character, Poplar. This might turn into something great and it might turn in to nothing at all. Everything depends on how I feel about this page later. Note that this page will not be organized. It will probably have very little CSS until it grows, and even then it probably will just have a single scroll-box. This page will also be kept separate from her biography strictly for organizational purposes, but will be linked through it. So, as always, track if you wish or don't if you don't, and have fun reading! (I do anticipate some hilarity from this, just based on the thoughts I will put down below.)

  • Her weight is mostly due to how much she just lazes around... because I go AFK and leave her in-forest pretty often. No, she doesn't eat too much. She always eats healthily and avoids eating too much grass. When she runs it is like the dickens, though she may not look as ballerina-esque as the other does and she skitters a lot when she lands after a jump. She is really healthy, I swear! She just isn't the most thin doe in the forest. I blame myself. ._.
  • Smelling like linen may seem odd, but there is a very natural explanation for this: She loves cotton plants. When she returns Outside she often sneaks on to a cotton farm and rolls in the plants, much to the chagrin of the farmers. I don't know why. She's just a weirdo I guess.
    More thoughts to come.

The Night

The Night
I scream and cry, choking in my tears
I try to breath, and see a light
I cannot move, I'm still in the night
I see something dark
in the clutches of this world
and gasp, I scream in fear
at the presence of the thing that will kill us all
We will all die, we will all be killed
By that thing that we fear most
We will all take
and hate those who take
We let chances go by us,
and we don’t mind
The presence of the people
that ignore the joy of life
Is killing me...
I cannot take it any longer
in this world
I try to make a change, but nothing happens
People will someday remember me
and I hope that they see
That light will be taken, and we will be dying
in this sea of greed

the poem that got me a B!yay?XD

Silence

Chapter 1
The Start of Herd

Silence
The fog stretched over the land, filling it with fear, and horror, making screams that fed the dark shadow coming for them, the fear if its prey, the desperate groans and cries, making it stronger every second….no hope, no joy…was left after he came, he took life and light away from the forest…and it, will come back again to make more damage to the world.
It was quiet, maybe too quiet. It seemed like nothings swifted in the woods. The fog covered the land, making the creatures that were full of joy and happiness hide I n
The clutches of the night, and forget the joy of life. The sun shined I knew that, but the fog was so think it didn’t let any light in, the only light you could see were the candles of my antlers. I was the only one out in the tremendously thick fog. None knew why this had happened, or what had caused it. There was very little food and the fishes had increased a lot, since the water covered half or even more of the land. It rained almost every day. As I trotted to the pond, that was quite big now. I kept on looking around, wondering if there were a herd near. For I had heard the hoofs of them hit the ground. I took a drink and I jumped back, dropping a candle in to the water. What had made me do so?
I saw two shadows move through the fog, I look harder and then saw other things chasing them. They had long slender faces, and their antlers were long. I heard a call and it sounded like a fawns call. I ran as fast as I could to the shadows in the fog, and bit the neck of one of the beasts. Feeling something kick my stomach I let out a groan and fell down to the ground, the ache was killing me, I got up and got slammed to the side of a tree, leaving me a long scar on the side of my head. Leaving a deep wound on my neck, not knowing if it was a she or a he I just kicked it in the jaw braking its teeth and maw, leaving it on the ground, defenseless.
