Since I haven't really developed my deer's persona much, I figured I'd start now. So that's what this blog post is going to be for. Don't feel that you have to read it, it's mostly for me so I can lay out his bio and whatnot. Of course, I wouldn't mind feedback from others ^.^



Name: Benevolence

Gender: Male(embodies both male and female, but appears as male.)

Orientation: Asexual (will however go into rut at certain times of the year and chase does around, but it never goes beyond playful flirting/chasing)

Spiritual Beliefs: Very superstitious, has great reverence for the Forest Gods, attuned to the deep magic nature holds and senses the spirits that dwell within the forest, believes that evil spirits lurk in the forest and shape shift into nameless deer to deceive others. Believes the old oak is surrounded by guardian spirits and any creature within the range of its low hum is protected from evil, believes evil spirits cannot approach the old tree. Will not hang around the ruins for prolonged periods of time due to the negative energy that comes from those old, decaying stone walls. He does not wear masks because they interfere with his communication and sensing of spirits and energies. Doesn't believe the forest is endless, somewhere, out there, is more than the forest, in another dimension perhaps. He believes the forest is sealed off from whatever else is out there, a place the Gods have chosen to protect their cervine children.

Personality: Enigmatic, peaceful, meditative, very playful and fawn-like, just, maternal, is a mix of feminine and masculine qualities, very kind, can be timid and shy, deep-thinker, is very wise but seldom shares his knowledge with others, respectful of other deer's privacy and personal space, goofy at times, a socialite who enjoys his time alone, positive but can become severely depressed if something is wrong either with himself or the energies in the forest, doesn't live in reality, a bit socially awkward, sensitive, judgmental and temperamental when treated badly, slow-paced.

Likes: The pond, the playground, the old oak, fawns, elder deer, playful deer, other forest creatures, the sunny patch between two small trees by the old oak, taking paced trots through the forest, the pagan statues at the ruins, spreading the purity, warmth, and love of the gods by blessing other deer with beautiful glowing white pelts, frolicking with a group of deer, dancing, cheering up others, the purple flowers he decorates his antlers with.

Dislikes: Hanging around the ruins, nameless deer, being ignored, having multiple spells cast on him, being turned into other woodland creatures, deer who don't respect personal space, vanity, heathen deer who blaspheme the Gods, the crosses at the ruins, wearing a mask, seriousness, dark spirits and negative energies, loneliness, having his coat stained orange by the flowers behind the crying idol.
