Deer Tattoo Concept

I would LOVE critiques/suggestions on this!

I've been trying to design a deer tattoo for myself. This is my first, ahem, shareable attempt. So, a little background: a doe is my main totem animal. I AM doe, and I'm guided by sparrow (I already have a sparrow tattoo). The deer represents me. The 2 symbols are the zodiac signs for pisces (my son), and gemini (my hubby).
I'm very pleased with how this came out, but I'm not sure if this is the one I'll get. I'll be drawing up some more ideas, but I'd really like to hear what you guys think. Smiling

sort of a follow-up to 'heart'

I overstrained myself today. I've been running too quickly for too long, I'm not used to it. After the course I stumbled into the grass. the metallic taste of blood, and blood rushing through my body. nothing but my body and the sky. nothing else but my body and the sky. I felt like I was about to collapse but I didn't. this is the result I guess

My Deer Doodles

Wow, it was a while since I was logged in, sorry for that.
my deer pelt(s) and stuff has messed up a bit, but I will fix it as soon as possible. ;3;

Some fast doodles of my deer characters Sol and Ila.


Sol is without the skull mask here, she has gone blind sadly due to the removal of the mask.
So she uses her hearing to get along.

Ila has her summer pelt ( golden butterfly), she is the youngest and more shy.


I am planning to make one more deer, a male this time... but i have to figure out his design more.

I choose the DotD pelt for Herla because of the blue and green designs that go so well with the peacock feathers. I tried to emphasize that component of the design here. Don't know if this translates well to her in game appearance?
