Hello, and welcome to year four of The Rut!
In reality, the Rutting Season is a time where stags would round up does for breeding. In their quest for romance, they are faced with many challenging stags, most of which are on the same quest.
As a result, this sometimes leads to conflicts between them; stags would display and battle one another with their antlers, all to impress the ladies. Rutting season in the cervidae family is a common occurrence, and is an impressive spectacle for nature enthusiasts all over to observe.
In TEF where reality is altered and the rules do not apply so much, The Rut is an organized event (a game if you will) in which stags, bucks, and even does alike meet one another over the battle ground. This is a perfect opportunity for Endless Forest Stags all over to prove their strength and power to each other.
The audience and the ultimate judges will be the participating Does of the Endless Forest, and they may either bless or reject the displays in any way they wish.
Use this time to reach out and meet new people, make new friends. We aim for this game to be enjoyable to everyone.

I volunteer Hum, my OOC (I guess is what you young whipper-snappers call it) as an Involved Nonparticipant.
Image. I guess I'm usually in that set, but I bounce around between sets a lot. Antlers can be naked Default, Poppies, or Candles. Mask can be Day of the Deer, Crying Idol, Noh, Skull Mask... Pelt can be Permadevout, Crying Idol, Space Beluga... I also tend to Peacock about pretty often. And sometimes I like to fly around as a dove. ... Or be any of the other animals. To be honest, my set is probably a terrible way to identify me. xD
Note: Seeing as the Permadevout is my "main" pelt, I use version 3.31. Thus, I cannot see third generation pictograms at all, and the second generation pictograms are distorted.

I've noticed the sex of the character is listed next to Involved Nonparticipants. I don't want to make it difficult, so I could just be notated as female. However, I identify as an Androgyne, and Hum is thus actually entirely (usually, it is to be assumed) without external signs of a biological sex (genitalia/scent indicators/facial features leaning heavily one way or another). Whatever is easiest to write down, yet yields the most information, will suffice for me.
