So far so good for Al. Wandered briefly before he stumbled upon a herd near red hill, guarded by two siblings (Arlo, Alesana). They seemed on-edge with his approach. Good. Went to prod a little, very entertained by the response that elicted. Because he's a CLASS CLOWN and he's just here to bully you a little.
Did get a judge out of it though, Galage. Teased the siblings some more just for the heck of it.
Found Ross on top of red hill and quickly sped over, briefly worried he'd seem rude to Galage, but got them to join quick as well. Found Elliot on top of the hill. Just.. Put him in the herd as well why not go for it.
Ross left to sit with someone in the sibling herd (Indira). Did recognise them, vaguely, but was more interested in prodding the herd more together with another stag (Elijah). Almost a brief scuffle as the pair came too close to his own little patch for comfort, but has so far avoided any spars/battles.
Bummer. Would LOVE to butt heads.
Joined by Ross and Indira (sticking his tongue out at Arlo/Alesana). Watched the other herd move.
Rota approached, brieeff posturing but let her join anyway. They promised to be good. Sparred with her later, that was fun!
Joined by Viper. They were very forward! Found himself flustered with the attention pretty much immediately, unsure of how to respond. Played and danced, got smooched, teased back a little. Viper has a very cute gigglesnort. Joined eventually by Somnium, whos very small.
Put up a horrible dance show that got interpreted as him having a stroke gkdfdijhdk dangit.
Noticed a big ole competitor approach (Sabit). Hoped to just, scare him off with some posturing, as there was NO way he was putting up a fight with a stag that big.
Alas, a clash happend anyway, was quick on his feet and did his best, but isn't build for confrontations like that, and got chased off the hill. Somnium and Elliot following him. Because apparantly he isn't that big of a loser. ♥.

Found a herd from Sabit. Figured to try the same tricks he was up to with the siblings yesterday, but Sabit was far more on his game. Really missing another challenger to help him out, but also very intent on impressing Thais! Butted heads with Sabit a few more times, Thais apparently deciding on purpose to make it difficult for Al. Sort of impressed by that. Finally got her and Jovan to join him though!
Later joined by Elliot as well (favjudge), met Atuutluk briefly (heya! that's a name from long ago)
Finally had a tiny herd with Elliot, Thais, Argus, Ross. Got a bottle of alcohol from Jovan, shared it with Ross who later went off to the bar with Jovan. Freakin sideeye.
Didn't think he would get hormonal, cus how could he, but all the excitement around him gets him excited too! Also tired though.
When Mis left 2 minutes to make tea, Al was a mini. The most adorable mini in the land. Yelled about this for a little while, Not Happy, size DOES matter!! Got pecked on the head by Thais, like a CHILD. Then Ross teased him too. HURHEDWAJWL.
Had his lil bruises and scrapes groomed by Thais before she left. Hopes to give her more of a show tomorrow. Chased Ross after he teased him about his FREAKING SIZE, YELLED. Apparently Ross also really easily dominates Al though the heck why's he such a bottom.
But! Found an Eph in the birch! Watched Ross tackle the air out of the large stag's lungs. Pretty pleased with himself though, as he showed Eph the forest in it's current state a few days ago. Wasn't.. Sure if he'd be interested in joining on his own accord, but quite so!
Very quickly reminded he was a rut participant and got followed by a bunch of cuties. Heck. Great, really, but he was also kindai n the middle of something. Sort of given up on being a very serious contestant now he was miniature.
Still played a good long while, went to spy on rutting shenanigans with Eph and Ross.
Found Jovan again, and Tristan. Basically promised he'd be good, but they would fight sometime during this rut you can bet on it. Feeling fatigued, perhaps from stress or the headbutting with someone far stronger than himself.
So basically just judged a while. Very pleased with Eph's joining.

Found Thais and Jovan in a small herd on a hill. Tried to circle a while, see if he could coach the resident challenger into fighting him! Because he wanted to give Thais (and Jovan) a show.
But everyone was paused. Seems a thing this rut.
Still Thais kinda enjoyed her paused friends. Thought to find another challenger and bring them over to show Thais a fight like she deserved, but only found fake-Tristans. Seems Thais gave up on waiting at that point too.
Went to find another herd then. Idelle's! Challenged her for a fight, like he'd wanted to, thought they gave a great show (most everyone paused, tho). Thais went to socialize in that group a while, went to wander himself. Lost Jovan, somewhere. Later re-joined by Thais who was a bit tired of all the frozen groups. Instead sat with her at the pond, non rutting zone, and chatted.
Asked how the event was going, discussed getting old(er) and just not being so entertained by loud men anymore. Touched on the feeling of being wanted or desired, and was asked if he'd ever been.
Just straight up went "nah im ugly", to which Thais seemed to dissolve into volcanic material and would've absolutely smacked his brain in if her player didnt hold the ropes (cmon. smackm.) Utterly confused when she muttered something about it having been a 100 years, and he'd forgotten, and something, and Al had a meltdown and??? what?? @_@
Yelled after her for a short bit in a dramatic episode, before finding himself on the pond shore entirely Baffled. Fucked up, clearly. Found by Tristan who seemed confused by the otherwise so cheerful angel being a big ole downer. Didnt even react to Argus playfully spelling him. Sorry Argus.
Briefly touched with Tristan on the subject of him having Fucked Up and now not knowing what to do. Was adviced to let her be a little while instead of following (Que Ephiré screaming somewhere in the BG). Figured Tristan would know, was also told it sometimes helps to just offer a shoulder/touch, instead of talking.
NOW THATS TOUGH ADVICE.
But did as told. Thanked Tristan, threatened him (??) got called Baby Blue. Would have to think THAT over.
Regardless followed Thais and briefly greeted Eph on the way. Sure he thought he saw a frown on his face too :| Found Thais with her head in Verve's old stash tree. Aw Sad
Briefly did as was told. Sat nearby. Shut his trap for a total of 10 seconds before pouring it all out.
Sort of weird confession time because they've all already done this. At least a few things became clear. Of course Al still has feelings for Thais, was that not obvious yet, but things have changed and he doesnt'exactly (he does) want to get inbetween her and her partner. She didnt seem ok with that answer either. Well!! What do you want then!! Worded that a LOT nicer.
Realizes he used to put up a barrier for her. Now she's doing the same to him. Fair. Got no answer but a "can't have what I want", and exhaled. Okay. She does still feel for him too, but is in a tough position at the moment. Had a brief, quiet grumble to himself, not sure what that outburst was for then. Didnt say anything.
Instead invited her over to a different world after the rut. Get some ice cream.

Realizing Thais has gone. Bad Mood. Like a child not getting his way, looking for TROUBLE!!!
Awoke feeling Angery, at a bit of a loss of what to do with himself. Briefly wandered, herds looking a bit calm and most competitors sitting somewhere with their judge-of-choice. Perhaps envious? How easy it always is for everyone else.
Finally sat his ass down in the birch, overlooking a small part of the first forest a while. Dozed off and awoke to Ephiré next to him. Oh! Okay. Followed the large stag as he wandered, doing some rut investiations, but warned he'd lock antlers with the first challenger to look him in the eye. That turned out to be Jethro on a hill in the first forest.
No nice intro's from Al here, immediatly went in for it. Had no interest in the herd, and didnt look if anyone was watching the fight, just needed to get rid of his energy and who better than another challenger. Kind of had a blast.
Noticed Jethro's mild confusion about that ending so offered a bow before wandering. Eph in the meantime socializing a little.
Ended up helping someone with a new set, realizing he was calming down a good bit now. Challenged by Ephiré for a spar in the flower beds, as in a flower spar! Had never done that before. Immediatly clumsy and lost hard, but thoroughly entertained. Also very entertained by Jonah's cheering, who made a great playbuddy and sparring partner later. Actually feeling sorta good at the end of it all. Briefly flirted with doe-Eph after spamming him with the antler stubs.
Kinda battered at that point, a bruised eyeball. (can you imagine eck) Went with Eph to his little home-area, followed by Jonah and the other 2 who were helping out with sets. Should decorate the place a little better if you're going to have guests!
After most had left, joined by Irene. Very much delighted by void-eyes-baby, watched her approve of Eph and invited her to sit in the middle. Later joined by Ross, who had a picknick basket. Nice. Inspected and dissaproved of the lack of waffles and nutella. Apparantly that's rude whod thunk.

Wasn't supposed to be online, Lol.
Mostly lazed because player was busy. Chatted with Eph, about the nature of their being-here and if he'd talk to Verve about it. And possible consequences of Verve entering this dimension again. A little worried about the prospect! Lots could happen. Bad stuff too. Agreed that now wouldn't be the time anyway.
And player isn't up for that because Verve can't just "come back", she'd need a huge grand entrance and shit takes time.
Also talked about the cactus he bought. Cus it's cute.
Eph felt like a walk so, joined in on that. Not a lot of rutting action but, still fun. Bumped into Tristan and his -correct that, Nemesis and her herd. Which contained Tristan, Averell, now him and Ephiré. Apparantly a fight between him and Tristan was encouraged, which became a flower-spar.
WON! HA! All due to Eph's training obviously.
Had fun though. Became a Tristan clone briefly and yelled in Jovan's ear.
All in a days work.

Well I did predict Al would be the most active.
A little restless to start. There was some activity going on, but Al wasn't that interested in bothering with groups, yet itching anyway. Kept company by sweet Argus, who's always welcome. Definitely grateful for his constant presence and stability.
LUCKILY, challenged by Lady Efrideet, and had a good time roughousing with her. Enjoyed the not-playing-nice aspect. Some rut-fights are just so polite, with bows and shit and mutual respect. Just wants to grab someone by the horns and push them into the mud at times. Pull some hair, bite some necks, share some rough smooching. In a "great" mood after that.
Argus left, Al's little balance gone. Bumped into Leto! Long time no see, you lil shit! Remembers his dislike for Al very well. ALSO A LITTLE PUZZLED, h o w are you here?? Really not in a mood for talking though, just went in for the brawl. Rubbed against him to agitate, worked well! Scuffled with the desert dweller, playing mean. Turns out Leto is a little bit more muscle than he remembers, and his tactics mostly worked against him. :"(. Roughed up pretty good, but loved it way more than he should. Hahaaa.

Mostly calm day. Found Eph and Ross in the middle of a conversation, only had to hear one word before sitting on Ross' back. "DID ANYONE SAY SUPRISE??"
Actually scared the living daylights out of Ross though. Teased him a while, got told off by Eph, rolled his eye and was soon off to go look for trouble.
Didn't really find any, though, and got switched out for Nérias.
Later returned with Eph gone and Ross still near his area. Sat down and apologised, feeling a bit HM for scaring him like that. Though, you know, that'd been the INTENTION, but Ross was way more startled than Al had really meant to. This back-and-forth shouldn't get extreme.
Was forgiven. Yay.
Later joined Ephiré on a walk, found Luchhaine and a herd. Briefly confused about who the herd leader was, wasn't.. Really paying much attention at this point. Player keeps mixing up the "nod" and the "lower antler" button, and people keep thinking Al actually shot a gun and SIGH SORRY. DOing it 3 times in a row is a LITTLE EMBARASSING THO.
Thouch Luchhaine didnt take it badly and got challenged to a spar. Or maybe he accidentally challenged Lucchaine, I don't know. Slowly feeling his bruises and wounds catch up to him, but gave it a good shot anyway, and sorta?? gained Eph's approval? S"good. Wasn't there to steal any judges tho so, moved on for an idol bath.
Sat in the stream. Frowning. Followed Eph again but split up when they got near his home to rest at Thais' trees, marking them with his space-scent. FROWNING. Stretched out with his arms in front of him and mumbled bullshit to himself before rejoining Eph and Ross. Still in a SHIT mood. Kept wandering off once-in-a-while regardless of any bruising, still looking to stir shit.
Please beat him up herd or not.

Oh dear. Let me start THIS off with: Al's a bitch and I'm having the time of my life, but always poke us if he's going too far :"D I don't side with Al at AAALLL, he's not a nice guy!!! I try to write from his perspective so it might look like I do.
First of all: a calm forest. Still agitated, still on-edge, still looking for trouble. Sort of feeling worse than he had previously. Started out decently though, played with Ross and Leto. Civilly, whoa. Likely because Ross was there.
Still! Asked Leto for a spar, got one. Happy about that, redirecting frustration into fights seems to help him alright. And Leto didn't seem too upset with him anymore for his bitchy bitchness a few days prior. So. What a win.
As Leto left though, and things got calm, once more started to brood. By now his agitation seems to not have a good reason anymore. Just mad, somehow, frustrated about the argument with Thais, but seems to go beyond that as well.
Found a herd from Idelle? Uh? During one of his angry stompy wanderings. Seemed Culzean needed to shed blood before he'd be allowed in said herd. Yay! Can help with that!! Amused himself with a nice spar against the large stag, until a judge split them up. Almost forgot that's how these things are supposed to go... Certainly could've gone on for 5 more minutes.
But, very amused when he won Melanie's favor. That's cute, thanks!! Was about to go back on his patrol, feeling a bit better when he realized Mel followed him.

Joined Ross and Eph again, at first calm once more. But it still wasn't enough. Started to wander again after a while, his usual happy demeanor now completely gone. Very bruised, bleeding a little, has been washing off in the crying idol in between walks. Didn't stop Ross from attempting a cleanup.

Wandered more later, got invited by Eph into a spar, starting to realize he's looking kind of stupid looking for fights in his current state. So, didn't.. Later Ross came to suggest he spar with him too, since he seemed so restless, but denied that offer. Coming down from his bullshit, was invited to come sit back with Eph and Ross for snuggles.
Suddenly, big herd. Alerted with a start, No Clue what was going on here. Watched Idelle, hornless, circle him. Not sure.. Why? Didn't seem like she was inviting him for a spar, what with having no horns and all, but started rubbing against him obviously to agitate him.
And that did really work. Against all SANITY, flew into anger and ran after the doe a while, trying to kick her where he could. Realized it was a ploy to get Ross away from him,
his only current source of stability, and got VERY MAD. Dove at Rohit firstly, not even sure WHY he was defending Ross as if this suddenly was a herd, but really didn't want to be alone again either. Didn't feel taken seriously at all, especially not by Idelle, and most brain-circuits snapped. Charged at the judges instead, mostly specifically charging Sub who looked especially defenseless (Al why). THAT worked! NOW he got Rohit mad, fought as viciously as he could and got the same treatment in return. Al was here first!! Why would he run off now!!
At some point realized this was useless, and wandered off. FUMING. Collapsed not too far off behind de Drinkplaats, really quickly joined by Ross. Grumbled something about that not being a good idea, since they'll just come after him again, as the angel shook on his legs. Out of anger out of pain?? Who knows! At this point in a really bad state though.
Ross quickly rebuffed he'd protect Al, and Al had a tiny breakdown. Was told Ross didn't know anyone from the herd but Rohit, so it hadn't been a case of a bunch of fun-friends trying to get Ross to join him either. Well, mostly. Just has no idea
why that was happening.
Realizing what he'd done, attacking a poor judge rofl, things you should think of beforehand Al.. Ross had seen that, got somewhat scolded but also forgiven.
Doesn't understand THAT either.
Whined about having fucked up again, about being a bad person for hurting Thais and undeserving doe's, but got told he had already gotten his ass kicked so punishment delivered. Tried to gather sense of his thoughts, but still super on edge with the nearby herd moving. They had a bird problem. Bird's name is Karma, Idelle.
Was offered to clean up at the stream cus Ross cannot groom him <_>". Found Idelle sadfacing at Ross a while in, spat at her, then moved to the stream. Theory: If Al's blood tastes like soap, does he make the water bubble? Is Altijd a

Now calmed down, had a small talk with Ross about how grown up he was now, how long Al had been missing, how it'd been for himself. And WHY HIS BLOOD IS THAT WAY. Explained he's not a deer, mostly a monster. Convo ended there soon though, as he lost the ability to stay awake. Also it was 2:30am for me and my cat wakes at 7am regardless. She also barfed, rip.

Didn't move much. Dragged his ass to Eph's home trees, having a hard time navigating in the mist. Huh. How'd that even get there in the first place
Was found by Thais, and, well, wasn't sure how to respond to that. Not having a giant eyeball for a head makes hiding emotions a little tougher. Was a bit frowny and short with her, but sat down all the same. She groomed him regardless of his warnings, his flavouring not so bad for her. Perhaps the poison got her used to it. It'd been a looong time since she'd seen him hurt, he realized!
Asked her where she'd gone, and got a reply, but neither was willing to elaborate on anything. Suggested they move, since he was messing up Eph's home, and moved to Thais' place. That's bout the most he's walked all day.
Was asked if he had enjoyed the rut! Yeah, sure. Met deer. Saw stuff. Very intense conversation. Obviously salty towards her, Thais also still not up for talking about stuff. A silence fell.
Finally asked her if she'd gotten to reading those books yet, and then the enthusiasm came. And he slowly opened up again too. And maybe all wasn't so bad, really. She enjoyed the bird book a lot, and he suggested they try the sign language one when they were in a human shape sometime. The third book was also very interesting, so it seemed.
HAD SOME QUESTIONS THROWN AT HIM. Suggested she join him to the club sometime <_>"" Have Verve fix this for him. Should've read more than the backside of the book before giving it to her.
Oh well. Right now, figures Thais just needs time. And maybe she needs to chat with some people other than him. He feels he should, at least. Should've put more effort into making friends instead of getting BEAT UP.
We counted 15 fights, but it might've been 13 - 17. Good times. Given Al's state I think that's it for him, but hey,
who knows~

Still in bad shape, woke up alone in Thais' little homeplace. Went to wash his face, get a drink, avoid the last few leftover rutters. Picked up a little package he'd left himself early last week, before the rut. Knew he'd need it eventually.
Finally, sat down again and lit a cigarette. YEAAH. Had only been waiting to do that for ages. Used the other half of the cigarette carton as an ash tray, because littering is BAD, and had some Altijd-time.
Suddenly confronted by Leto! So happy about that. Really hadn't planned to be disturbed. Got asked where he'd gotten his cigarettes.
"The store. You?"
Conversation immediatly turned sour. Sad the other doesn't appreciate his amazing humor. Had a few more questions thrown at him, and in his own experimental way, gave Leto tiny hints. Just to see if his theory was
right after all. Because if Leto was here, who had he met in Emnes? Or was this the same Leto?
Sassed on like that until Leto got up to charge at him. Was, perhaps unfortunately, faster, and backed off before Leto could pin him. Yelled at him, uncool!! Not that he hadn't been edging him on. Told him to leave, now, very unwilling to help the stag.
Try again later!!
Joined by Argus after Leto left. And Ephiré. When Argus had to leave, the bird-butt left him two ravens to babysit the angel. Warned he'd be pecked in the eyeball if he did anything but chill out.
