The doe leans against her friend's shoulder, looking worn. The words are simple, but heartfelt: "Thank you." A shame she doesn't get to see Illrose more often and under better circumstances; she rather liked the dragon-doe.

She sighs softly. "I don't know... A friend fetched us - Dinah and me, I mean - from the hill, and he was already like that." A shiver runs down the length of her spine. "And then that wolf turned up, and all of a sudden there were a bunch of other deer fending him off, and there was shouting over here and Gustiro came here to defend Dinah or..." Phai slumps. "Something. I'm not really sure what happened. It was a mess."

Her eyes roll skywards. "Thank. Goodness." And that's all she had to say about that.

You have proved yourself untrustworthy, and you're never around so what's the fucking point. These past few months... have you ever even thought of us? Actually, don't answer that. Actions speak louder than words, Illrose. My heart can't take your bullshit any longer. Maybe you don't realize, but your.. 'distance' from your friends and family is hurting them. Hurting us.

With that she turned and left, but not before she snapped, I have nothing more to say to you. I hope you find whatever the hell it is your looking for. I'm sorry we're not good enough for you.

if it makes anything better Lev did kind of do this for Illrose's own good, she still loves her a lot and wants her to be happy but doesn't want her to have to choose between her new friends and her old family. ]

Illrose had been completely content where she sat, with the opportunity to watch the dragonflies while she soothed her wounds in the water. That was, until the bird deer showed up. Gritting her teeth in pain and annoyance, she was forced to move further away, and even then he followed. A harsh, but weakened laugh escaped her lips, as she simply had to sit down again, too tired to move any further away for now.
"Isn't that..obvious?! _You_ are my problem. Just leave me alone." She snarled back at him, her voice as hoarse and tired as it had been the last couple of days. She was about to turn her head away from him, but casted a last, cold glance towards him.
"And don't call me fat!"

Illrose sighed. Why couldn't they - for once - simply listen to her requests? Was it so hard to just leave her alone when she wanted to be alone? She pressed her lips together, for a moment thinking about not answering him at all. But she then turned back towards the bird.
"You are annoying..and rude. And I'm...tired of always finding Jack with...new wounds after he have been...in your company." The time where she believed she and the bird could once again become 'cuddle buddies' seemed to be over, and she was tired of trying to be nice and patient with those who treated her like crap...or mostly ignored her. Illrose turned her head away again, and let it slump down to the moist ground, water drops trailing down her skull from the splash the movement had created.

M&A was probably just checking something, cause he just sat there for a little while before he vanished, and I don't think he had been there for long before Fawn got to him. xD
