Cadaver ignored Illrose yesterday?

Oh my D8 I'm so terribly sorry! I've been having terrible connection issues where everything freezes until I have to give up and quit the forest.

As Illrose awoke, she immediately felt the warmth from a being next to her. She opened her eyes when she lifted her head and turned it to see who it could be laying by her side. When seeing the mass of feathers, her eyes widened in surprise and she quickly rose to her feet. The bird would be among the last she expected to find by her side. Illrose assumed Jack was at the Ruins still, and that made it even more strange to find the bird here, and not with the white stag. Illrose stared at the sleeping form, sniffed it and then hesitantly sat back down by his side. She would wait until he awoke, and perhaps then would she get to know why he was here.

Illrose was glad when Nidhem heard her calling, and came over to them. But just like her, he was limping, and clearly had an injured leg. This made her worried, and it did show in her eyes, as they rested on her nephew when he arrived. At his question, she turned her head and looked at the others in the group, all of them more affected by the recent events than her, who had barely known the doe that had died.
"Someone very dear to them, a young doe named Eraline, passed away recently." She quietly replied, her eyes on Nidhem to see how he would take these news. He could know who Eraline was, for all Illrose knew. She stepped forward - slowly, and without having the swollen leg touching the ground - and brushed the tip of her skull gently against his fur.
"But what about you, Nidhem? What have happened to you?" She then asked, with a nod toward his injured leg.

( Awh, no worries. I'm glad you did, it's about time the two of them interact properly. ♥ )

At least it didn't seem Nidhem knew who Eraline was. Illrose knew the pain Gustiro and the others who mourned were going through, and she didn't wish for her nephew to feel that pain. A faint smile appeared on her lips, although hidden behind her skull mask.
"Me neither, but all we can do is support them through the sadness." Her ears perked when Nidhem's posture suddenly changed, as he lowered his ears and head, and turned away - it could almost seem he was waiting for her to scold him. But Illrose saw no reason to do such thing.
"Was it a stag, even larger than me? I mean, larger than my normal size?" Right now it didn't take much to be larger than her, while she was minified. But Nidhem words had immediately made her think of the large stag, with great, hand-like antlers. Perhaps he had been the one that chased her nephew. Illrose motioned for Nidhem to follow her, when she began to feel tired of standing up.
"Come, lets sit down. Slowly, she turned around and limped back to the others, before she looked back to make sure Nidhem was following. She then sat down next to Gustiro, carefully not to put any weight on her injured leg, as she stretched it out in the grass.

Her ears fell back slightly, not because she was annoyed with Nidhem, but because of the large stag that had caused injuries to her nephew. After all, she had seen Nikodim approaching Nidhem before, and he had been bothering Adriian and probably others too, so of course he was the one she suspected to stay behind this. Illrose waited until Nidhem had sat down, before she spoke again.
"It seem I must have a...talk with him when my leg is okay again. I won't tolerate having him running around and hurting my nephew." Illrose smiled at Nidhem, and poked his shoulder playfully with the tip of her skull.
