How did you come to find the forest?

Interesting Bandwagons out there. Thought I'd make one...

Mystress and I found the endless forest looking for some interesting pictures of the forst god in "princess mononoke", which was definiatly behind the deer in this game Smiling and found this picture:

Well, I was reading a story

Well, I was reading a story on a zoo tycoon forum, and found someone mention that if they liked wolves (It was a story about wolves) they would like a game called WolfQuest. So, I downloaded WolfQuest, and looked on the forums and found someone mention The Endless Forest. And so I went to The Endless Forest. (:

I think I may have been too exited also, becasue I don't really remember where I woke up, but the first thing I was in awe at was the rays of sun... Mystress jsut collapsed when she saw the sun, it was really neat!

That's cool how you found it Meadow,

and it looks like Deviantart is really the #1 thing bringing people to TEF.

An artist I watch on deviantART (Majime) had drawn one of her characters like an Endless Forest deer. She linked to the game in a comment to someone, so I checked it out.
And here I am over a year later. Laughing out loud

I saw a picture on deviantart with a link to the game. xD Looks like that's how most other people found the game, as well!

As for where I first woke up, I feel inclined to say that is was somewhere near the pond. :'D In the forest around that area, at least. All I really remember, is that I thought I had to eat pinecones to grow antlers, so I ate like 50 of them. xDDD

I found TheEndlessForest

I found TheEndlessForest through an oekaki, an online drawing board. I have no idea who initially discovered it, but everyone was drawing their fawns and one particular image of a red fawn with poppies on its head finally convinced me to check out the Forest. That was early September 2007 (Laruna wasn't my first deer).

As for winterleaf's question, I barely remember... I think I woke up near the Crying Idol, maybe closer to the birch forest, towards that fairy ring...? It was somewhere in that direction. Next time I'm in the Forest, I'm going to try and find that area... Anyway, I remember running around and up to other deer. I actually didn't know I was online, so I had no idea what was going on. Laughing out loud I also remember thinking that the Forest really was endless, and being disappointed (and confused) by the repeating map.

I heard about it from Ghost

I heard about it from Ghost (remember her?) on another forum, where Corg and Wuffers (and maybe a few others) were members as well and I suppose that's where they learned about it too. It's weird to think about, but a small handful of people on TEF I have known for years through forums/deviantart. I started playing in fall '07 (so Fled was never a fawn, now that I think about it), but I couldn't play properly until this past summer. And since then, I've been in love with the game :3

A year ago I was browsing

A year ago I was browsing the WolfQuest forum and reading people's complaints about the game, when someone mentioned that they had hoped the game would have been more like The Endless Forest. I thought it sounded interesting, Googled it, and ended up here ^^

I also remember the first place Sqish woke up was in that meadowy area next to the pond <3 And the first thing he saw was a devout pelt party XD

Heck yes Moro!!! I love her a bunchhh!!! My little sister even had a dragon figurine and she namesd it Moro when she was little... You know the X-Files? Scully is her voice... Smiling I love it so much, if I was ever to change Mystess' voice it would be to hers Smiling
