I like the concept a lot!

I like the concept a lot! It's very original, although I can't really see why the antlers and pelt match. Maybe that's something from the Native American culture I don't know about.. XD
Hmmm.. maybe you can explain it? I'm curious now |D

They don't match, do they?

They don't match, do they? *looks at piece* I was trying to have them be mismatched but fitting. Having the wood-like antler with a bird nest was just an additional idea that plagued me while making the deer that only got worse when I was done coloring his bald butt. My dad suggested a beehive antler. God I'm going to end up trying that eventually... -__-

If I wanted to complete the heartline set I'd have to research the Zuni tribes more. See how their masks looked and such and get an idea how they pictured antlers. It would be quite lovely though I'm certain.

The woody antler's set would really match with the pelt, making the deer look more like woodwork, the mask would be a simpler piece more akin to a bark slab with eyes and mouth hole or something to that extent.
