I would just like to ask how I should begin I suppose... I think I should have an art blog to keep track of my paintings and I feel somewhat compelled to begin a biography or some kind of collection for brd. I've seen so many beautifully cssed profiles and so on here and have a bit of css knowledge myself. I just don't know how to start.
Could I ask for some advice, tips, or hints?
Thank you so much in advance.
What kind of CSS design are
Something simple...? Maybe

I started with a box code I
Look at one of the CSS guides on the site if you need help, they have a ton of codes.
I'm lucky enough to have a few TEFers on my contact list who know some about CSS coding.
While I'm still not very good at it, I managed a biography.
*Not very helpful*
Thank you for your advice, i
PS- I found some good guides for TEF CSS... will post them here for my own reference. But I am still looking for information on how to adjust the CSS? Thank you!

Well, you can either change
A good source of help is Unplugged's CSS Guid. It's eyeblinding and a little confusing if you rush through it- but if you take your time and reference back to it, it's much easier to change the designs.
For a scroll box, I'm not entirely sure how to put the code here without messing with it, but here it is.
< div style="width:140px; height:170px; overflow:auto; background:#e38c00; border: 2px dashed #ffffff; text-align:justify; padding:10px; font: 11px; letter-spacing:0pt;" >< div style="width:120x; height:130px; overflow:auto; background:#ffffff; border: 10px solid #fbbf5e; text-align:justify; padding:10px; font: 11px; letter-spacing:0pt;" > Note that this seemingly single scroll box has TWO different scroll boxes in it. Simply remove from the second < div style ... to the 0pt;" > to remove the inside one.< / div >< / div >
Simply remove the spaces between the words and the tags.
This is what it looks like~
I'm sorry if I didn't make any sense ^^;
[EDIT;] Usually making a Coding Test Blog helps a lot when you're trying to get the right look. I'd say just play around with it and if you need any help, just let us know. There is no code editor, the codes must be made by hand or, in some cases, by someone else and pasted into the blog contents thingy you write in.
It made a lot of sense, thank
Sorry if I am asking really obvious questions... I really appreciate you replying and explaining so patiently.

The first one has the node
The scroll areas are this code http://www.w3schools.com/Css/pr_pos_overflow.asp
To make it without the overflow, just take scroll off and it'll be something like this I did for Deiyoru's:
<*div style="border: 1px solid #000; padding: 25px; background: #050F1F; width: 750px;"*>Text here<*/div*> without the astericks. You can also move the box by adding "margin-left: 50px" but that's just an estimate. A good way to learn is to experiment but w3schools is also a great place to learn a lot more.
Also, a WONDERFUL tool is Firebug, if you use Firefox. I helps me find some other things to edit like the leaf for the titles. You can replace it like I did at Verdoc's biography with this:
#squeeze h2:before{content: url('http://a.imageshack.us/img530/6017/verdocpicto.gif');}
Your own image of course to replace.
Those are within Unplugged's
To change the colors of those, simply paste a new HEX color code with the existing one and then delete the one you wish to remove. I'm no expert at it- so I apologize if I end up not helping (:
[e] If you'd like, I can mess with the coding myself to help you out.
Would I be able to change
Thank you both for your help, I will try to get this untangled to where I understand it.

If you would, please let me know which of my drawings or paintings you would like me to submit to the calendar contest. Because I want to choose an image that the community enjoys seeing.
