Bold in exploration. The very medium you chose helped the emotion flow [seep in, perhaps]. Distinctly.
The tidal wave of needle foliage and sky in the background, strained oscillations.. Soft, careful colours retained by steep strokes. [Not unlike spirits..]
The muttering crack starting just behind the ear..

Thank you.

Wow, I love how unusual this looks... It has a sketch-like flow in it, simplistic lines and detail added with intresting textures... I also like the composition. The grey stag with stone-like texture and cracks is especially lovely. <3

Ohh, nifty style~ I love how you did the colors, especially for the landscape. It reminds me of something I learned in my Matisse class where he (successfully) attempted to separate color and form.

I love how the deer in front, however, is still very nicely defined, and seems a world apart from the rest of the forest. Such a fantastic feel of empty separation ;u; It immediately calls forth images of times when my deer have been avoided this way.

This style is beautiful. The simplicity, how interesting that it can speak volumes. I love the use of color as a way to discern shapes.
And the nature of the meaning, too, I find... Depressingly beautiful. I can understand.
