Body Type: Extremely Muscled, Bulky, think of it as him having the Myostatin Genetic Muscle Killer Spires: Nightmare still has the large spires/spikes that protrude out of his shoulders and from his chest, most of the time however they are covered in that thick fur coat he has and cannot be seen. Skull: Nightmare's skull takes a combination of Dragon and Shrieker parts to form its shape, Upper being more dragon, bottom being more Shrieker. REMEMBER! Nightmare has Three Parts to his bottom jaw, it is not one solid peace. Do not be Immature about it either people, Nightmare is a very serious character and is very personal to me. |
His Actions in Forest Nightmare gives off a toxic black smoke that spills from his mouth, this smoke has many effects. The most common being a Nightmareish effect in which happens after the toxins attack the brain. The nightmare's range from small to dreadful and in most cases they attack a peaceful memory of the victim corrupting it into a Nightmare. He also has the bite force of a large Saltie (Saltwater Crocodile), 3,200lbs per square inch, enough to crush something if he were truly looking to kill or produce immense damage to something. When Nightmare is Enraged, to the point where he does not recognize anyone his senses become heightened and his reflexes grow tighter. He feels no pain in this state and will fight until he is either 'killed' or collapses from utter Exhaustion. Most have to work hard to get Nightmare down, he is a force to be reckoned with in the forest and if one is not careful a lot of problems can occur, because he is slow due to his weight and size one can easily run circles around him but don't get caught outright... getting caught can entail a beating if one is not careful. Nightmare is known to Die and be Reborn, thus making him in a manner of speaking almost like a phoenix. His body by instinct will shut down and place him into a temporary 'coma' of sorts where it will then shut down everything and die. Through the time of that death the body will mend, and repair the injuries that he has sustained through whatever it was that killed him. When he is in this rebirthing process it is possible to attack him to slow it down, by attacking him and doing more damage one can keep him down for an unknown amount of time. Rebirths generally take from a few days (Minimal Damage), Weeks (Moderate Damage) to Months (Severe Damage). |

He is with both his strengths and his weaknesses. It takes a lot to damage and take the beast down. Nightmare's fighting style is of Brutality and using Strength, he WILL attempt to crush things that are smaller than him and is not afraid to mortally wound those that pick a fight with him. While Nightmare is normally placid in nature, when it comes to a fight he will NOT back down. |
Advantages + Size Nightmare's size and bulk make him a wall and tower when fighting. While he does not move extremely fast due to this, his size is a clear advantage in many cases and Nightmare uses it to his own advantage in any fight against something that is smaller than himself. Nightmare's size and bulk make him a true wall to break through, while it seems as though this is something that is hard to break it is not. When put against his weaknesses, Nightmare's size can only do so much for him. + Built to Last Nightmare's form is built to withstand the heat of a long battle, he takes hits with stride and suffers pain but he is built to keep going until utter exhaustion. Nightmare uses his stamina and his size in combination to wear his opponents out. The bulk of his muscle lies in his chest and powerful legs, making his stamina and ability to take a fight exceptional. Combined with his experience through the countless fights he has had with his enemies, Nightmare's ability to last is something. + Extremely Aggressive and Cruel Nightmare is not afraid to do anything and everything that he can in order to utterly destroy his opponents. From biting and clawing, to headbutting and ramming. Nightmare's strengths and ruthless nature make him an intense opponent for anyone to fight, even those that are his size. Smaller stags will likely have trouble but if they exploit the giant stags weaknesses they can topple the beast easily. + Weapons Nightmare has a wide arsenal of weapons. The talons on his front legs are designed to grip and hold down his opponents, the front paws of his limbs being more humanoid than normal with that of a thumb and four fingers. His hind legs are muscled and the claws are meant for tearing and ripping flesh should he kick. His skull is designed to be like a rams, and when he headbutts he can daze, the horns making the skull even more dangerous. His fangs are serrated and designed for gripping, in combination with his pronged bottom jaws which rip and shred flesh. + Skull Nightmare's skull has mutated and evolved over the course of time, what was once a typical deer skull has distorted into something new all together. Mixture of creatures have mixed together to form one solid thing. Nightmare's skull serves two purposes in a fight, it serves as a battering ram when he is at a distance and charges. And it serves as a crusher, when he bites down with his jaws the force behind it is designed to crush and lacerate things. The bite force used behind those powerful jaws is on par with prehistoric creatures such as the T-Rex and even the Megalodon. + Spines Mutations and Evolution come with many surprises... with his more recent evolution Nightmare's body has mutated to show an 'infection' that has spread throughout his body. Thick, black spines protrude from his skull and along the backs of his legs. While these spines are pliable and somewhat soft when they are present on his body, when they snap off or are slammed into a body the harden quickly and cause immense pain and a burning sensation. Underneath his fur, there is also a lair of thin 'quills' that are much like these spines. Weaknesses - Blind Spots Nightmare's size may be his advantage but it is also his weakness. Due to his overall towering size, it is hard for him to see in certain areas of his body which lead to major blind spots. These blind spots can be used to the advantage of others, especially if they are opportunistic. Exploiting these blind spots and aiming for Nightmare's legs is one of the best ways to take him down, if you take out his legs you take out the power behind his attacks. - Extremely Slow Another play on Nightmare's size, he is very slow... his attacks are almost predictable and easily dodged. However this should not lead you to let your guard down. Nightmare's slow responses often means if he strikes he can dish out a lot of damage. - Close Fighter Nightmare cannot use anything at a distance, he must be up close and personal with his opponents to even consider dealing any damage. Because of this he often leaves himself open to someone running out of range and giving them the opportunity to strike him at a blind spot. - Easy to Avoid His large size, his slow movements and the fact that he fights up close and personal all give nightmare the weakness of being avoided very easily. Nightmare is much like a crocodile or alligator in the sense that he cannot swing himself around in a smooth turn and thus he ends up having to turn in a slower pace. This makes it possible for anyone to take advantage of getting at his legs and crippling him. If someone were to get directly behind him he would have to move away and then turn around, his body is far too large for him to be quick and agile like smaller creatures. - Sometimes Insane It is not an unknown fact that Nightmare is often times 'lost' when in the heat of a fight. While he tries not to fall into the insanity of his nature, or the cruelty of the beast that he is there have been many times when he has truly become a monster in his attacks. Because of this, he often times holds no sense of who is who, what is what or even if he is in pain. He is blinded from all of this and it is what not only makes him dangerous but also makes him something to avoid. - Ropes and Binds When he traveled outside the forest to some interesting world, Nightmare gained the taste for Human Blood and while he killed many of these strange, hairless creatures he did suffer from one moment where they did manage to get him down to try and bind him with ropes. Breaking free however he slaughtered them but couldn't get the ropes off his body. The ropes are mostly seen around his neck and can be used against him in a means if his opponents get them stuck in something like rocks or, due the fact that the ropes are so long, get his own legs and feet tangled up with them. - The Devout While Nightmare holds a tolerance to be around those who wear the white pelt of the Gods he is not so immune to it when it is cast upon his form. It burns, and repeatedly being hit by it causes the most extreme pain imaginable for him. Hitting him once or twice with the Devout will make him turn tail and run to lick his wounds as it will tear skin and seer away at his flesh. Usually he will soak in the pond afterwards or attempt to find solace in a place secluded from those around until the wounds heal. |

Adopted Others Jorogumo Close Friends, Adopted Sister, Extremely Protective Of Karooi - Sister Figure/Adopted Sister, cherishes her deeply and will do anything to protect her. Wesker - Brotherly Figure/Adopted Brother, a bit of a rocky relationship... at least they are more tolerant of one another. Will protect if the need occurs. Saosin - Considered a Brother and His Snuggle Buddy, adores the red stag and will do anything to just spend time with him. Kari - Seen as a daughter through Karooi and Wesker, understands that she doesn't see the same but doesn't mind and respects her choices. Hoshiko - Considers the deceased fawn a daughter.
