Though her life wasn't hard, Akuji had never felt truly happy. The first dark thought emerged very early, when she was just a fawn. The next one made an appearance when she was a pre-teen, but it quickly left her mind when she met her first crush. Having forgotten his name after so many years, she did remember how it felt to kill him when the dark thoughts, which were at first nothing to be concerned about, attacked her mind, made her head ache and body tremble. But, instead of trying to fight them, she dived into them, enjoying every single bit of the numb feeling they gave her. No, she didn't black out, nothing was in control of her body, she did it willingly, happily. She tore his flesh apart piece to piece and left him there to rot, the now nameless boy that of whom the memory of she would always cherish, because he was her first and for a while, only kill. For a while, she felt good, even close to being happy, but there was a nagging voice in her mind that kept saying that there would be consequences to all of her kills. She listened to it and didn't kill until she was in her teens. The doe she met, a little bit younger then her, had became an important person and not-so-sadly, she killed without a second thought. The next few deer, whose names she never bothered to remember, were also easy to kill. Coming to a sudden stop with the killings when she started feeling cold from inside out, not mentally, physically.
