This might be easier to keep up with than Ahi's blog on the forum Laughing out loud

A Very Brief Recap

Starting somewhere around New Year's, Bell was in love with all of the flowers and mushrooms.

After waking up to find the Forest had been gifted with a makeover, Bell ran to the nearest set of tulips and tried to be as picturesque as possible- moo pretty! There were many dance parties beneath the wide brims of mushrooms and it seemed no one was in a bad mood. Had it already been three months since she arrived in the forest?

One of her favorite activites, so long as she is mindful of her boundaries, Bell and Demon Gazelle danced the day away atop the pond. She fought the urge to laugh, for she knew that it would be her literal downfall, but it was hard! Fawns and stags alike were succumbing to the magic-ripping powers of the pond in their attempts to mimic the pair.

Through a fit of spell casting, Bell found herself with the bright 'tiger' pelt, and trotted right over to a stag with a matching one. She sniffed him, perhaps they were related? But the moment was ruined as he went to stand. She quickly reverted back to her former self, identity crisis avoided.

More pond dancing! But this time, Bell played the part of the audience. Though, she did join Cyric for a few moments, she thought it was safer behind the makeshift barrier. She joined the other stag behind the fallen tree, and they watched in silent amusement while other deer hopped into place on top of the pond, once they figured things out.

Alright, trying out a blog

1...2...3...testing...testing....

Omggjdnfhk it works!

Just found out about the new community site, and I have to say, I love it so far! Especially the live map; if a friend of yours is online, you know when to attack them with moos and nuzzles. I think it's also pretty cool how you can view the profile of a certain deer, so that way you know who you're playing with if you want to keep in touch with them.
But anyway, I barely got on here, so I'm off the explore the rest of the site. Just wanted to test out a blog first. See all of you in the forest!

So today...

Yay for mine and shoes first blog we are both very happy. Well actually shoe is, I'm not due to the fact that I had to go back to school today, mine brain hasn't exactly caught up to this fact yet.

Shoe has been rather absent lately due to the holidays and being home, but now I'm back at school were I need somthing to do while I put off doing any homework and such. So Shoe will be visiting alot more. I will also be posting many picture soon (some of them are from about a month ago) very everyone to enjoy if they wish.

I put up a news avie on the boards today which I spent alot of time on Sticking out tongue I've got mad artistic skillz.

Hm..... I wonder if I can actually post pictures on here. I thought I would thow here Shoe's past 3 avies for everyone to go ooooohhh ahhhhh over if they want.

One of those 100x100 ones will be put on the site until I get the time to make a new one. Sorry for being so dull....I just came from Calculus. But thus there is my first blog post.

We are both also excited about the abio tomorrow, my roomie may come too yay!

Shoe: "When are you going to play with me, I'm tried of napping, I wanna play with the birdies and the stagies and the fawnies today. "

Something strange in The Endless Forest.

As a young fawn, one can soak in all that is new with such a place as The Endless Forest. But as this stag recalls, things were much more stranger during the time surrounding Halloween, then time when Ghost first entered the Forest.

Tryin' This

Communities make me happy!

So, my first blog! Which can also count for a diary for Bell, since they're all the rage, right? (notrly)

And I actually have something to write- rather, type about! Topic, Abiogenesis.

I'm quite disappointed I'll miss the official winter Abio- I've gotta work that night ):, but I'm sure there will be tons of pictures on the forums. Besides, my computer lags something awful with all the pretty stags running around.

Also! I think it might be worth my time to explain Bell's deer habits, because I'm thinking they might annoy some deer :x

She finds it funny when certain stags take themselves so seriously, and will do her absolute best to destroy that small sense of importance. I.E., intruding on 'territory' (sawry Witcher, dear), and basically laughing her tail off when things get a little out of han- hoof.

Bell also loves to play leap frog, specifically with stags that are laying down, making angry faces at her, or fawns of any shape because they're short enough. Life's a game to her!

So, my first blog was more of a ramble about nothing in particular rather than a contributing letter to the newly formed community, but that's alright, no?

First blog

Well I'm here, and the site is pretty cool. The Forest Map is probably the coolest thing I've seen, and it would help us find out who's online and how many deer are sleeping as opposed to actually running around, ect.

I posted on the Forums asking if Pictures were limited to drawings and artwork or if screenshots could be posted. Who knows, maybe I'll have my own sub-section for Quad's Candid Camera. Only time will tell.

Until then, Quad hopes to dance with you guys in the forest soon!

We're brilliant!

We're brilliant! -

If you don’t believe us, read the well thought through article by chris on The Artful Gamer. I quote:

They are brilliant.

Seriously, the article contains a very interesting analysis of different forms of play. And how many computer games seem to miss out on a lot of opportunities for play. It reminded me a bit of our own post about Player-created gameplay but it takes the concept even further.
