It's okay, I do, too.
It rained all day today, but I don't mind. I like it, especially when I'm at school.
It makes it seem less horrible to go there when the outside isn't as appealing as it does when it's sunny.
I feel much more at home in this very small apartment of ours than I did when we lived in the big house.
It still feels very new here when I walk into the door, even though we've been here well over a year and a half.
I wonder why?
...It's cold here, though. I know it's because of the windows, but I would much rather sacrifice the heat than be caged behind dark bedroom walls.
I need the windows. I need them. Whether I'm at school or at home. Even when the blinds are closed.
Everything just feels so dull and suffocating without them, you know?
Incomplete papers surround me. I feel like I lack the ability to finish anything. To finish everything.
If I blow it off quickly before I think anymore about it, I won't care. But I know I do. And I know it bothers me.

Just wondering if any TEF players are on this, since I'm a regular player.


For those who don't know of this game, Secondhand Lands is a secondhand MMO that isn't very graphically advanced like TEF, but is written cleverly and has a lot of wittiness to it; it's more of a game that doesn't take itself seriously. (community is small and like... conflicted.)

She walks about the forest greeting every one she meets.The clouds are grey and the forest seems almost silent.But she is searching for Kiowa.She goes every where from the idols to the ruins. Her smile begins to fade as she trots to the bridge.He is no where to be seen,which makes Faunet a little sad.Some stags are playfully fighting she stops with interest for only a while.She takes a drink from the lake she feels lonely and forgotten.Her reflection is the same as always a doe with a heart full of love.She slowly walks back to the bridge her hooves feel heavier with each step. She curls up in the middle of the bridge hoping that when she awakes she will soon be able to find her beloved. And with that the birds start to sing their song.

12+ framerates on the new computer in the house.
I'm somewhat excited about it since it will allow me to better practice my airsitting.

And be able to run without completely falling over.
For the record, I get 1-3 right now.

I was playing around with it last night on one of my deer for some time when very few deer were active.

Easier that way, then you don't get possessive deer going "NO. THIS IS MY WALL/ROCK/MUSHROOM/TWIN GOD STATUE/RANDOM TREE" and trying to sit on your head/spamming angry buttons.

A Forest Fairytale
Seed's backstory, in fairytale format. Since this story is all about the consequences of his backstory, and working through the issues of identity and home that this creates, it is essential that you have a rough idea of the story.

Prologues

The Near Prologue
Note that this prologue was written over a year before the rest of the story; as a result, it's only vaguely connected. The only skippable part.
Despite being skippable, I don't cringe...much... when I read this. It sets up the basic conflict of the story pretty well. I only went and called it "the near prologue" after writing the "distant" one. I abandoned it for over year because I didn't know where to go. The basic steps were the same -- I knew I wanted Seed to go outside the ordinary bounds of the Forest, but from there...eh?

The Distant Prologue
[i]This is one of the three chapters for which I wrote this entire story: I nearly did it as a comic, but decided against it a while back. This is much cooler anyway, right? ...yeah, right. Still, I like the idea of deer having to pick their names out from the void. I deliberately withheld the answer here so the answer to the question in the penultimate chapter would still be a little surprise -- but not too much of one.

Running around in the forest is Pretty Fun, All the thing's to see and Explore make's it worth it 8D!

Personality: Jagara is a Very Shy, Timid Fawn, She can get Nervous around other Deer's, And Try's to Avoid Contact with them. Other Then that she's a Very Kind, Gentle And Sweet Natured Fawn, She just need's time to get used to the other's in the forest To change her way's xP.

History: Jagara was Born in a Castle Ruin's a Few Year's Back. Her Mother Left her there while traveling with the Herd. Jagara Live's alone, Wondering the Land's in search of a Home, Friend's and Probably a Family to Take her in, She was Named Jagara After her Mother's Mom. Her Father she never knew and Probably will never talk about, She never had any Sibling's, And She Never Knew her Herd Properly xP.
