An old character of mine that I'm revising.

In the final hour
We were abandoned
Luck was not on our side
As it never was
Or seemed to be

The light was lost
And we became lovers of darkness
The stars
That would fly by
Would blind our eyes

Forget the world of old
So bittersweet
Melodies we sing
Are memories
Flowing to and fro

Such heartfelt things
Such terrifying experiences
The shadows bind us
Keeping us under their spell

There is no valient knight
Or Saviour
To save us from this immoral night

We fight to stay alive
And now in the last moment
Of our lives
We reflect
And see
We lived not in vanity
Or for materialistic things
Our death would not be in vain

There is no undoing what has been done
It is only death
That can set us free
Even though we fight
We grow tired
And our bodies are worn
The time is near
We shall not have died in vain.

My deer needs the peacock mask, magpie pelt, antelope antlers, and mini spell if someone has time. They'll be by the mask tree at the ruins. Thanks!!

Broken hearted
And vulnerable

Would you hear
The whimper and cries
The whisper of the voice
That tries to speak

Would you look beyond the light
Into the darkness
Into that dark apitamy

Where we stich this wounds
To stop the bleeding
There was no Saviour
To save us in the final hour

The wounds never heal
Not completely
We bare the scars
And the memories they hold
The pain is still there
It's just embedded
Deeper
In the skin

Would you notice
The cold facade
With harder skin
Where nothing seems to bother
Nothing at all
An act
Nothing more nothing less

Our hearts have not grown cold
Just encased in a harder shell
A barrier we use
In order to protect
Our scars have made us who we are
We show them unashamed
We would not have it any other way.
Standing together never giving in
Never giving up
