A lithe ebony figure wove through the flower patch with a mouthful of pond reeds, not bothering to check if she was still alone. Her project of sorts wasn't even close to being ready, and at the first sign of a visitor to the glade caused her to dart to the tree and drop off the reeds so that she could double back to see who it was. Cautiously glanced around, and waited. "Hello?"

Hello i am a fawn looking for parents my name is laru and im a lost little girl in need. I am very shy and untrusting at first but with some love i hope to be your new member.

I've been playing for about a week now, and everything was going fine until a few days ago. Endless Forest stopped connecting to the network! It won't let me log in, and simply says 'Error'. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the game. I tried waiting a few hours (days even). I have been searching for this error, and so far I have found a few other people who have also had this problem, but I can't find anywhere that it has been fixed.
Is anyone still having this problem or knows how to make the game work again??

Also, I still haven't received my confirmation email for the Tale-of-Tales forum. I didn't even get my email for the game and had to search for the web address to confirm register my deer. I even tried making another forum account using a different email address; nothing doing.
Does anyone have the web address so I can post in that forum? Maybe I can then try and contact the admins or something.

I just remembered the Endless Forest again after like...I don't know, a year or two, I guess? A lot has changed, really...Another new gen of pictos, huh?
After a few minutes of poking around, I see a lot of people wanting older pictos, so I guess I'll give the few I have away. I'm also getting rid of the characters I had on here, so if anyone still remembers them, feel free to remove them, or list them as dead/missing.

There have been many legends on how the Jack-O-Lantern became an iconic symbol for the Halloween season. Some believe the Legend of Stingy Jack, in which a ghostly figure roamed the land carrying a turnip with a burning coal. Others believe the Jack-O-Lantern helped lost souls find their way during All Hallow's Eve. As these stories added to the history of the Jack-O-Lantern, there is one that is not so well known, at least for the human world, but is a more familiar legend for the Forest dwellers.

The story goes that a long time ago a hunter named Jack lived deep in the wilderness, where he lived off the land. He was fortunate to have good soil to grow some crops, including pumpkins and gourds during the right season. He often heard wolves howling in the night, and would open his door to find them eating the crops he grew. Unnerved by this, the hunter would shoot at them and always miss, the wolves escaping while his crops lay destroyed.

One night, he ventured deep into the woods away from his house, and came across an ancient statue of a pagan idol much like those found in the Endless Forest. He was surprised to find it glowing a bright green light as he approached, and before he knew it he was on his knees groveling before the idol. That night he prayed the wolves would leave his crops alone or else suffer for destroying what was rightfully his.

The pagan idol ceased to glow immediately after the prayer was asked, and the man returned to his cottage and went to sleep. That night, he heard the howling of wolves, and running out the door, he was shocked at what he saw before him.

The wolves were certainly being punished for eating from the pumpkins, but not in the way the hunter had hoped for. Instead, the wolves were running around with the pumpkins stuck on their heads, howling as they could not find their sense of direction.

Hey, I just wanted to know, are the creators of the game still changing the weather sometimes? Its still night time for three days in Endless Forest so I wanted to know if this happened to anyone else.
I'm very interested in the weather change in The Endless Forest.

Hit a massive art/writing block. I've been trying to get back into the swing of things for the past few weeks but I've just had so much trouble trying to find some sort of muse. :I Zero inspiration for any of my characters, zero inspiration to finish any artstuff or writing I've started.

So I'm offering trades to anyone who'd like one, maybe even requests :'D Try me~ My conditions:

-My style is constantly evolving, so it's unlikely that any two art pieces will be done the same way.
-Specify coloring style: traditional (probably colored with watercolors or pencils) or digital~!
-I do OCs, humans, deer, equines, and can attempt other quad/anthro art. I can attempt gore/bloody art, it might be fun. Idk. Just ask me c: I don't have many limits, except mechas and some fandoms if fan art is what you're into. But really, ask. I love brainstorming with people ^^
-Some sort of ref, pleaaase ;A; I usually suck at drawing from descriptions.
-I also suck at backgrounds. I can give it a go, though. Also let me know if you'd want the background transparent or not.

-This is reaaaally iffy, but I might start doing small sculpting requests as well. I've got a crapload of clay that I have no idea what to do with.
