Today was my first real time in the forest and I absolutely loved it. I met another fawn and we danced. Soon we found other fawns and deer to dance and play with. At it's largest our group numbered five. Unfortunately although I had taken screenshots they didn't save so I have no pictures to show The only symbol I can properly describe was one that reminded me of a penguin or maybe a prinny. If anyone knows who that is, I'd be very grateful for them to get in touch with me as I really enjoyed tonight.

There is a deer in the forest, it is default and when you cast spells on him they just disappear. It has the same icon or whatever it is called as me. And as I said, this deer is default and I wonder who he is Does anyone know?

I was thinking, would anyone be up for a game of tag with a young fawn?

Since my revival, I've realized that I don't know...What I really feel about Sage, or what to do about it. I have come to a decision: I will write my way to the truth! And so I begin my series. Once upon a time, we spoke about deer that aren't 'real.' Deer like myself. And she likened them to something colorful and striking...And these poems all take shape around what was the reply I felt and didn't say, at the time. Now that I write it again, I don't now: was it a loving thought?

So today's Quad's birthday, he's been with TEF for 5 years now. I don't know the exact date I joined but I know it's in October since the BZD was in the Forest. I chose October 15th as his birthday since it's in the middle of October.

I remember back when we were on the Forums (TEFc wasn't made when I first started), I called Quad "Deerman" because I didn't have a name for him at the time. In fact back then we originally didn't give our deer names, as their name was their pictogram. But eventually I decided to give him the first part of my username, QuadRaptor.

That was also back when he wore his very first set, which was almost identical to his current set with the exception of having the Kabuki pelt instead of the Beluga pelt.



So a lot has changed back then. As a fawn, Quad was adopted by Walter and Ephra. Then as an adult, Quad became a notorious 'buttsniffer', then I decided he was getting a bad reputation for the antic so I stopped doing it. I used to do "Quad's Candid Camera" back then, where I would take countless screenshots of who I interacted with and would post them up with funny captions. And then on June 24th, 2008, I began writing Divine Intervention, which eventually became the first of five stories ultimately called the Divine series that told the history of Quad - how he was brought into the Endless Forest, his adventures to discover his powers as the Grand Talux, the introduction of Iugulare, Anirapio, and Nekumbra, and many other things that would ultimately shape who Quad is today.

I don't really know much about the community...

[=darkgreen]Life! Life already falls into its patterns of birth and crowds and rushing joy, sunlit forest days in a break from the seasonal fog and the seasonal mad rush to the grand zombie's side. I rejoice in it, after my recent ordeal. But I admit...I'm also a little stunned by it. My body's not as it was -- I sense the light in my leaves and feel the fur of my underbelly on my wooden legs. Between that and the rush of company again, I'm feeling a little dizzy...

So today, I resolved to take it easy. I saw Walter -- or his ghost, or his phantom, or what-have-you (now that I've been dead, I still don't know what it is to be a ghost.) I know at times my feelings are conflicted about Walter, but I'm happy to see him again after so long, even as a shade. I hope he'll be back again soon -- and hopefully in a more peaceful state of mind than the one that keeps earning him his death. And I sat with him and Ravynn on the Red Hill. I think Ravynn meant to compliment me on my new appearance with her comments -- I wasn't really sure. Perhaps she was just meant to tease, pointing out that with more of my heritage (of sorts) in my appearance, I'm more suited to the name 'Seed.' But I never knew if I was or not before; it's my name. It's merely a part of me.
I couldn't tell if there was still a birth or an after-birth going on downhill from the Red Hill, where the berries collected like water in the lowerst point, and just as blue. Most of the crowd seemed, in my dreams, to be elsewhere. I was so relieved to be alive, among safe friends...I mostly slept the day away by them, until I was left alone, and surrendered myself to a deep sleep.


When I woke up, I saw Sage.

Well, I've decided to challenge myself. I need to get used to RP-ing without speech with Moss, since he can always use friends and I can always use the practice! This'll be a learning experience.

Note: Moss is unable to use human language anymore. The only thing he can say is 'Awel' (his true name) and that is what he will introduce himself as to anyone new. He speaks through body language and the occasional feral noise, but feel free to have your character get mad at him for not speaking! haha It's all a part of the game.

Please make sure to keep me on my toes here! Also, please be sure to use proper spelling, grammar, include punctuation, etc. as I will be doing so for you to the best of my ability. Please keep it to a four sentence minimum as well, so I have something substantial to reply to! Anything below these standards will be overlooked. I know, I can be anal about this. I just feel that if I do my best, I would like yours in return!
