It tries to start itself but it seems some files are corrupted or something, the computer itself stays on but it won't load. it gives me the windows logo in the start but after that all it gives is just a black screen. It won't turn off on it's own or anything, it just seems to fail loading Windows itself.

And yeah, I believe it would be possible but there wasn't anything worth a life or money I'd need to dig out. But it still pisses me to lose all of my things, art and everything. Bloaa. u__u,
Luckily I've still got at least some things on another hard drive. Now I'm waiting to get the new computer even more. D:

Maybe it would be worth look into getting an external hard-drive to save your really important art on?

Actually I do have an external harddrive in my use. But I had a lot of files on my computer as well, art files and music and such I hadn't bothered to put on the harddrive. I was so lazy. From now on I'm wiser. :B
What peeves me the most is the unfinished commission work I now lost... fruuuustrating. 8D

Phaha, well maybe it's because I -really- loved it here when this community was even smaller. : D
It felt like a family back then, before the community site was even created and some years after as well. -is an old fart-
Now I feel like everything's just drowning under the masses, blogs gets bumped to next page in like fifteen minutes and it's harder to get yourself rocognized among people I suppose. But it's just my personal feeling. : D
I also haven't been in other communities like this really so to me it feels awfully big at the moment, it's grown so much over a year. o_O
I'm still glad it has remained a friendly community, still. Like you said. :B

Though, I'm not saying this is a bad community, it's still friendly and such with great people in it. But it's growing a little big for my preferences, I felt more at home way back, it doesn't just feel the same way it used to and I'm not feeling the same fondness to it anymore. -shrug-

Well, this is my personal blog and I complain here just as much as I like. This is just where I'm writing up my thoughts and feelings, they're not even meant to be constructive or such. :]

Tef is not a bad community, but it doesn't feel the same place to me personally anymore, even though I still like it more than any other communities around. -shrug-
Well, as long as it remains friendly still, it's just me not too fond of bigger amounts of people so I suffer here sometimes xD

Couldn't agree more, for the reasons you mention and others... I'm happy for the success of this game, but lately it's begun to feel rawther crowded. Sometimes with the server seems absolutely full-to-groaning with players.

As IRL, a biome is only equipped to handle so many organisms before it begins to fail. Unchecked (i.e. without the addition of more/bigger/faster servers), TEF's massive popularity could be its undoing.

Again, I'm glad to notice I'm not the only one with the feelings, it's always nice finding there are people who feel the same way, makes me feel less ridiculous.. xD
I don't think I have anything else to add, can only wonder what it's going to be after another year o__O
At least at this rate TEF calls for stronger servers at least if nothing else.

And I don't think I'm going to be involved with the community of FH myself... not my kind of community :B
But I hope you will, no idea what kinds of people around there, never was involved with IT community either.

I read there was too much people trying to download the game the servers crashed so they put the site down temporarily. But you can download it now? D8

Yeeeah, been sniffing around that site but it seems to be lacking download links to the game, heard they took it off for a while. Tried looking for the game download but it's nowhere to be found atm it seems. u__u

Well, I don't think I'm going to complain more about the subject around here. Things are how they are now, popularity prevails and we can't do a thing about it.
Just gotta stop yearning for the community it once was, stop whining and accept things, that's all.
I've been whining too much anyways. Because I don't feel as good and welcome around here as I once felt thus I'm taking a break every once in a while when I start feeling all blergh again.

The forums seems such a nice place still with old players as well but it's so much less active, and it's lacking all the beautiful art and writings and screenshots.. u__u
