Now that switching pictos without losing stuff is easier, I think Quammers will be seen around a bit more as well hopefully. Cut is still my main critter, though, and I play him the most but a little more forest time for Quammers as well now perhaps. :]
Annnd yeah, Cut's character is quite strongly tied to the other one, namely Riptail, so he's pretty much always with him, yes. <'D

Maybe that's because you chose to spend most of your time with very few people. Those who get a lot of attention are people who've reached out to many people and frequent it that way.

I hate seeing it happen. And I hate seeing the original not stand up for themselves even more.

I hate that people try to defend art that is obviously ripped. I try not to pick fights, because really, nobody seems to be listening to anybody else. It just seems to be one of those "if I can get enough people on my side, I'll win!" sorts of things.

It's so easy to create something original. You just steal directly from nature. Come on, people.

After all, we're all taking influences from our surroundings, from artists we look up to, from things we like. My own style is as well influenced by many many artists I've adored ever since I've gotten into digital art.

But even if evil intentions weren't meant, too much taking might really upset the artists. Usually own art and own characters are close to their creators heart, they come from your head, a result of hard work. Then someone comes and takes it from you, just like that, it's like a slap to the artist's face. Not talking about trivial, little things but harshly stealing a concept you've spend a lot of time to work on.
Maybe I'm just a bit narrow-minded and sensitive over this subject, who knows. But it's upsetting to see so much characters being ripped off sometimes in this community too.
and how suddenly in this certain case there are a bunch of people even denying nothing was copied never ever. Though I suppose I'm getting shot if I state my opinion about this anymore, I already kinda did.

And I'm glad to notice you've finally created a character that stays with you. Starling is pretty and original, love her. <3
