Appearance In summer, Fenqua proudly wears the Kabuki pelt, existing of tan colored fur with a blood-red line swirling across her body. In winter she sheds her pelt, for it to be replaced by a beautiful silvery gray wintercoat. Her antlers look like the antennas of a butterfly; black, long, thin and curly. Often these 'antlers' are decorated with poppies and purple flowers.
History When Fenqua's mother is pregnant of her, her parents stumble across a little fawn without anyone to take care of it. They discover it's a Twin Gods child and decide to adopt her and name her Amara. When Fenqua is born, she considers Amara her big sister, nothing more and nothing less. They live happily as a small family, in which Fenqua looks up to her sister as a roll model.
But then comes tragic. Her parents are brutally murdered by unknown creatures and she and her sister are left alone in the world. Amara knows she has to take responsibility for her baby sister, who is still a fawn, but decides after a while she simply can't do it. During this short period Fenqua is a witness as well as a victim of the many mood swings, from depression to fury. She grows up with a shattered self-confidence and the feeling she can't do anything right. Amara forces her to grow up was faster than she can and often punishes her for being too much of a child.
When Fenqua becomes a teenager, Amara decides to run away and leave her behind. Lost as she is, the doe tries to find away without the guidance of her sister. Later on she stumbles across the Alpha male of huge, wealthy herd. He accepts her in his group and sees potential in her as the new Alpha female. Through harsh training he tries to shape her for a responsible future, leaving many scars on her fragile body. At a certain point, Fenqua is broken and is at the edge of running away. But she remembers what her sister did and decides to stay. She faces the Alpha and rejects her task, gaining respect from every deer in the herd.
Later on she gains many friends and also regains her self-confidence. She prevents her best friend from committing suicide and continues to grow closer to him. Many years later she falls in love with him and they have a happy family together. Unfortunately, when her children have grown to teenagers, she dies while losing a fight between her and a murderous fellow deer.
Many years later she is reborn as a young adult in the same Forest and strangely enough, in the same time period. Her memory has been completely erased apart from the fact that she still has family. She still has a sister. If only she knew who.
Personality Fenqua is quiet fire; she prefers peace and silence but her mood can change from a sunny day to a raging thunderstorm. She is very confident, headstrong and sometimes even a little arrogant. Sometimes she might think she's better than others, but she can be very empathizing and friendly too. A social animal, but still appreciates the many quiet moments in the forest. She knows what she wants and she does what she wants. Fenqua won't listen to anyone but herself and doesn't easily take the advice given to her.
She can be very dominant and aggressive but won't get into fights unless she's obviously challenged. Strong-willed, outgoing and positive. Possesses more than just a temper and is physically pretty strong. She loves to run, jump and climb.
Still, the young doe also has an elegant and girly side. If you're lucky and well hidden, you might find her dancing with the butterflies and fireflies in a patch of purple flowers.

Art & Poetry
"Shall my master bid me,
I shall strike him horn to toe
Letting antlers pierce right through me
Trap me helpless as a doe
I must get stronger still, he says,
I feel that I must hear
That all he says is right
So right, "You must be Queen, my deer."
And so the scars were painted
On my pelt, my brow, my nose
But nothing could compare
To all the scars I've yet to know
I met him, sleek in dappled pelt
With poppies by his ears
With kind, but saddened eyes
And with a heart so full of woe
One day, he disappeared,
And all my world had turned to pain
For the scars upon my flesh
Were nothing; this was not the same
I felt the antler's prong
Stab through my heart with ample grace
I had to go on through the stabbing
To hide it from my face
And when I saw him; oh, my heart,
It nearly took to flight
I chased him down, and what I saw
Was like a fatal blight
His legs were barely holding him
His frame was rattling, weak,
His voice was frail, cold, and broken,
But oh, to hear him speak...
Oh, Skokey, I have missed you so,
My sweet and kindly prince,
"I lo..." I whispered to him in his sleep,
I couldn't help but wince
"My sweet Skokey," she said beneath
The hum of fireflies,
"Please, never leave me, never go,"
And softly, Fenqua cries..."
