Erick Swenson’s installations create scenes of haunting perfection. Inspired by museum exhibits, set design, film special effects, and model making, Swenson crafts every minute detail of his tableaux, creating simulated, highly romantic scenes of that often exceed the ideals of nature. Spanning more than 7 meters, Swenson’s Untitled is a sub-zero oasis of mythical blizzard. Styrofoam snow and polyurethane ice engulf expertly moulded cobblestones, fabricating a spectacle of wintery Bavariana fairytale. Within the gathering drifts, a fallen deer strains against death in a sublime allegorical moment.

Yaay

Well, the other day ( I think it was yesterday Frown ) I read something about this Harmony thing, so I decided to try it! Sticking out tongue

And I just felt like showing all of you the result! :



It turned out to be a doe ... I think. I can't draw antlers with this program(?) yet...
bleh, I have trouble with antlers in general I guess xD

Well I think it's nothing so big x) but I liked it Cool and this is my first art (or something like that...) being posted here ^^ Maybe this will lead me to post more art ! Sticking out tongue

...and as a writer myself, watching this got me thinking about my creative process in a different way. Often, I fall into depression and despair when my art, my words fight me. I think it's important that people who do art, no matter what it is, encourage one another during our most vulnerable, insecure moments.



If you have 20 minutes to spare, sit and watch this, or move about and just listen. Whatever works. It's interesting and may help you along the way.

Personal Sets?

Brainstorming for a set for a deer I plan on making, I've made myself curious..

If you had to choose any one set to represent you, what would it be?

For me, I'd choose the crying idol mask, magpie pelt, and either DotD or antelope antlers. Probably a mini spell.

What about you guys?~

Apperently I cant draw lions. So i would like some help. I have an idea for a new deer and its going to be male and is half lion half deer. it has the front half of a lion and the back of a deer. I would really like some lineart for him, and i would really like some help...
