One down, two to go

LightBringer cautiously picked his way through the thorns surrounding the Drinkplatts. "How could someone do this to nature..."

"Hello my son..." Light whirled around to see Demon staring him in the face. His black scales shimmered in the moonlight as he curled around Light like a snake. "Don't worry, I'm just here to talk," he drawled, "About that prophecy, and about those deer. How many have you found, and what's the prophecy?"
Light lost control of his voice. "One, and:

The beast will always live here,
But never on the top here,
When he comes, the cobra burns,
And the virus still spreads.

Four deer will come together,
To help the thorns turn back to heather,
The Light will always shine through.

"I always did hate...poetry." he spat the last word out. "And do you have any friends, loved ones? I won't hurt them, I just will spare them until you dieeeI mean I will spare them to make this interesting." Again, a strange voice floated out of his throat. "My family, Zoro and Yara, and my friend, Natali."
"MORE!"
"Natali---Natali is the purest being I have ever seen. She is the love of my life, and once this is over, I'm going to propose."
"All I needed to know..." Demon flew into the reddish sky.

Oh no the secrets out Light!
"Grrr darn you Father!"

To Roe, My Heart. (A letter correspondence)

My Flower,

I am sorry to be away. My aching heart reminds me of you and our child every day I am gone. I hope you are feeling well. I hope you are remembering to take care of yourself and eating Raspberry leaves for the sickness.

Flower, I have been searching everywhere to find you a suitable place to have our child... a safe place.

I am doing well, so there is no need to worry. I am sorry for the briefness in my letter.

Do well, Flower, and I will return soon.

My....parents?

I'm gonna be lazy and not color the speech for now.

LightBringer skipped along happily, thinking about his new father. "Who's there? What do you want from me?" He scented a stag, but it smelled different somehow. And a doe, that smelled of death. The stag spoke first. "Well my son, how you've grown! Your mother and I missed you so much..." He grinned evilly. The doe spoke in a reptilian voice. "How we wished you were back in the Underworld with us...and what is this stuff on you? Fur? It's ssssssso bright...you've been touched by my old friend, Yara..."

LightBringer replied cautiously. "What do you want with Yara? What are you here for?" They smiled an icy smile that didn't reach their eyes. "We've come to help you continue this race of Apocolypse Stags. We will infect this forest one by one, starting with you." the stag said.

Light's candles lit up to a forest fire level. "And I say NO!" They caught fire to the doe, turning her to dust in a matter of seconds. "Now leave, demon, or I'll burn you too." Light said these words confidently. "Stop me..." The stag spread huge bat wings and flew into the night. "I must stop him...I must-"

"Light, what happened?" Yara asked. "It's a long story.." He told her about this predicament they were in. "So, I need to know hoe to defeat him." Yara said nothing, and started digging. A bright light shone out, and she picked the thing up and draped it over Light's neck. "Release it only when you see him again. It will disintegrate him and any other deer he infects. Go, find the other deer of light. They will help you in your quest." Light put a determined look on his face. "I will Mom." He looked down at his lit crystal. "I will..." He set off across the grass, determined to find these deer, the ones to help.

I'll continue this sometime later. Review please! I also need some "Deer of Light" On the list of four is

1. LightBringer
2. Natali
3.
4.

Finally!

Zoro and Light were playfully arguing on the way through the darkness. "Give my mask back Zoro! It's mine!" Zoro gave it back to him. "Light, I smell mom!" Yara waltzed along happily. "Zoro! LightBringer! You'll never guess what just happened!" she didn't wait for an answer. "You guys have a father now!" Their jaws dropped open in surprise. "Who is it? What's his name?" Yara answered with a strange tine if voice. "His name is Convel, you'll recognize him by his white coat in the winter." Zoro had her question next. "Are you totally in love with him? Did you guys kiss yet?"
"Yes Zoro, I am, and yes, nuzzles." The family bounced happily around until they fell asleep in Zoro's cave in the birch forest.

THE END

Just something to creatively tell what has recently happened. Bye!

Let's Not Overthink This...

Gasp, Pega wrote something! This idea came to me last night while I was washing dishes. Started to daydream Suiren ramble-thinking to herself, and it just went from there. Helped me work out a scenario that needed to happen too.
This is all from Suiren's point of view.

It's A Mess, And It's Called... [Nekumbra]

...the little death, girl.

Crawling, creeping, creaking along, she let the world ease beneath her. Grass and leaves, they littered the floor- the latter swallowing the former. There was a certain sort of irony to that, too - one that didn't go unnoticed. Soon, the world would be white, snow in thick drifts. Bleats would turn into beats, hooves stamping in the snow, and she knew it would only make them easier to catch.

The little lives here were nothing but figments of an overactive imagination anyway. Soon, it wouldn't matter one whit.

The snow would come and snuff out all of those lives.

It would have help.

She would stalk and slither after them, one by one, effective adversary to taking out all those little lives.

She wouldn't lose a lick of sleep over it, either. She wouldn't stay up and stare at the starry sky, wondering why, Gods, why? had she done what she'd done. Why had she ended such sad little stories before they got started?

Sad stories about a deer and a hunter, a picker, a perfect personification of all things wrong in the world. She knew it better than most, and even then, she didn't feel the need to stop herself.

A few feet away, a fawn was nosing at some leaves, searching for the barely green grass hiding beneath it. Just another day, another meal, another five minutes of fame it might have felt the second she snapped her teeth around its throat.

So much for playing in the snow.

Sacrificial Blackbuck (Quad and Iugulare story)

Just a hypothetical situation I thought up and wanted to write for a while. I suppose you can say it's a post-Halloween story. Enjoy.

This story is a little graphic so be warned

-----------------------------------------

"I can't stand it! I hate him so much, but...I want him so badly! I'm starting to think that this plan of taking over won't work...at least while he's still in the picture. Unless...", Iugulare thought for a moment, "Unless it wasn't me who infected the Endless Forest."

Anirapio tilted her head, "What are you suggesting?", the dragon questioned.

The stoat grinned, "Why didn't I think of this before? I could propose a trade to the Twin Gods...they get to remove the 'threat' of infection if I surrender to them, if only they let me take Quad with me."

"Would they fall for that? And what do you mean about it not being you who infected the Endless Forest?", Nekumbra questioned.

"Well I have you two to handle that.", Iugulare spoke.

"So we'll be infecting while you're captured?", Anirapio thought, "It's risky...but if it's what you want to do..."

The stoat nodded, "It is. I get a break from this assault on the planet and get to torture the sweet little blackbuck while you take over. Then you bust me out when you're finished.", she said. She rubbed a small amount of infection on the two of them to make sure they could infect without her.

The plan was set. It was now up to Iugulare to negotiate...

-----------------------------------------

Quad walked toward the Twin Gods' statues to find a shocking sight. There were Michael and Auriea, talking with Iugulare! His Grand Talux wings burst from his back, and he was prepared to fight, when Michael said, "Stand down, Quad.

Writing.

It is dark early this time of year.

Raindrops fall off the eaves and hit the pavement, a million tiny mouse-traps in the dark. The wind wails like a small child as it blows through the trees. The child calls out for her mother, who seems to answer, before you realize that it is the roar of a train's whistle bringing death to any in its path. Your heart stutters with the cold as the rain pelts your coat with wet, icy bullets from the dark, bleeding clouds. Thy hang like a low and dusty ceiling, a basement to a bright world covered in stars, little holes in the fabric of the night sky. The bottoms of your bare feet freeze, as if the concrete were the frozen gray snow that collects in the crooks of curbs in the middle of winter. You slap them hard as you walk, trying to bring the heat of your blood back in, but the cold only creeps up your legs as if you were wading slowly in to an arctic ocean. The wind caresses your face gently, reminding you with its little beads of water why you came out dressed in everything except your shoes.

If you cried, your tears would offend the rain. You hold them in until it becomes too dark for the water drops to see them rush down your face in a flood that would make Niagra jealous. The tears hold no emotion, but dive headlong from your eyes in a constant stream of kamikaze fighters that head for the ground, bouncing off of your cheeks to mingle at your chin, leaping to join the cloud-blood-rain.

The heat assails you as you let the shower clean the dirt and grime from the pale and cold skin. The soap and lather, heat revives you.

You're ready to go back out again, and find yourself snuggled up in a strange room but with someone who is in no way a stranger.
