Just a hypothetical situation I thought up and wanted to write for a while. I suppose you can say it's a post-Halloween story. Enjoy.

"I can't stand it! I hate him so much, but...I want him so badly! I'm starting to think that this plan of taking over won't work...at least while he's still in the picture. Unless...", Iugulare thought for a moment, "Unless it wasn't me who infected the Endless Forest."

Anirapio tilted her head, "What are you suggesting?", the dragon questioned.

The stoat grinned, "Why didn't I think of this before? I could propose a trade to the Twin Gods...they get to remove the 'threat' of infection if I surrender to them, if only they let me take Quad with me."

"Would they fall for that? And what do you mean about it not being you who infected the Endless Forest?", Nekumbra questioned.

"Well I have you two to handle that.", Iugulare spoke.

"So we'll be infecting while you're captured?", Anirapio thought, "It's risky...but if it's what you want to do..."

The stoat nodded, "It is. I get a break from this assault on the planet and get to torture the sweet little blackbuck while you take over. Then you bust me out when you're finished.", she said. She rubbed a small amount of infection on the two of them to make sure they could infect without her.

The plan was set. It was now up to Iugulare to negotiate...

Quad walked toward the Twin Gods' statues to find a shocking sight. There were Michael and Auriea, talking with Iugulare! His Grand Talux wings burst from his back, and he was prepared to fight, when Michael said, "Stand down, Quad. She's not here to hurt us."

"What's going on?", Quad questioned.

Auriea turned to Michael, and whispered, "We can't do this. It's cruel to him."

Michael shook his head, "What else can we do? Sacrifice one to save many."

Iugulare turned to him, a smirk on her face, "Don't worry, you'll love what I have in store for you.", she said.

The twin gods turned to Iugulare, and reluctantly they nodded in agreement to her plan. They closed their eyes, and using their magic, Quad's wings were stripped from his body. He howled in pain as each one was ripped from his back, and then collapsing, he looked to them, "Wh--why?"

"We made a choice, Quad. To save our Forest, we had to give Iugulare what she wanted. And she wants you...", Auriea spoke to him. Michael then worked more magic, and thick cement formed around Quad and Iugulare, in the shape of a square. Quad tried to escape, but it formed so fast that he was entombed and shrouded in darkness.

He panicked, and tried to break through the walls of the tomb, but the Gods' magic was stronger than his antlers. He wore himself out trying to shatter the wall, all the while Iugulare watched him in his panic, pleased that he belonged to her now.

When his body ran out of energy, he sat and rested. It was here Iugulare approached him in the darkness, overtaking his body. He kicked and struggled, but she had nearly engulfed him, and resting her head on forehead, she spoke, "At long last, I finally have you. We have so much time alone now. Your Gods took your light powers away, but they left one vital power just for me...your resurrection ability is still very active.", her eyes and fangs were visible to him now as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, "So now I can torture you until you die, and then when you come back to life, I can do it all over again. And your Gods think that they saved their Forest from me. Oh no, they doomed it, for you see...I infected Anirapio and Nekumbra, and they are already starting to overrun the Forest with my minions. And there's no Grand Talux to save them now."

She wrapped around him, squeezing him so hard that some of his bones broke. He gasped in pain, tears already filling his eyes. He had already used up his energy trying to escape, and his body was going into shock. He rested his head in the infection that surrounded him, and closed his eyes.

There was no escape this time. And what was worse was that her plan worked perfectly. For soon Anirapio and Nekumbra had built up a force to attack the Twin Gods on the outside.

Iugulare would enjoy every second of her imprisonment with Quad. She finally got what she wanted.
