There was ice coating the glass of the bus shelter at the mall (where I wait for my second bus). So I drew in it. A mule deer head in profile (with 4-point antlers), and a 3/4 view of my leowolf's head.
Too bad my phone's camera couldn't pick it up well. |D

My class might see Avatar sometime soon. 8] Whoot. Too bad we all have afternoon classes and need to work around that. |D Might just need to go on my own (as I would've if possible anyway =B).

Going to campus yesterday was completely pointless. They posted the hours for the Registrar's office so I knew they'd be closed quite some time after I'd get there. But there were no hours posted for the Dean of Arts and Communications' office. I should've known they'd be gone for the day. >> Rar.
Not going to my Monday class though, since I plan to get rid of it after officially getting the Storyboarding Independent Study (and it was approved, but just requiring me to bring the form to the Registrar), so I'm just gonna go in on Tuesday as scheduled and pick up the form after thesis class (which I'll probably be late for if my animation class sees Avatar).

Deer-wise...something I've been thinking of/about for a long while has been on my mind more. Nothing I haven't mentioned before, so don't worry.

Yesh yesh. =] He's feeling his age more lately too. |D I Imagined him asking, "You are well I hope?" Especially since Mar Sart was in the Sunbeam. Kinda ninja'd on him, though, cuz I looked away for a second, wondered why Mar's picto was gold on the radar, and looked back to see him awake. XD; Old guy was standing right by him too. Guess his senses really are dulling.

|D Nah, it's ok. They are rather similar. Trinket once told me she thought Michael was in the Forest until she came across Magnet-fawn. XD

Alrighties. If I'm on though, it'll be as someone else. I get bored playing Magnet too long since he mostly just wanders around observing the scenery. |D And it's really hard to see right now.

Gah, my head. X_x Headache I've had for hours that refuses to go away. Not enough that I'll take pain killers for it, but enough to make me feel blah.

And I missed my chance to see Avatar with my class this morning. -_- I was miserable at the time, but I've gotten over it for the most part. This just means no seeing it in 3D most likely (which would probably *beep* with my eyes like Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D did. |D), and an excuse to see it with friends, since seeing it counted as a class. (Going on my own and showing a ticket stub will remove the resulted absence.)
Plus, I made use of the time I would've been at the movie by getting the Independent Study thing out of the way. Needed to run around campus a bit for that. Also bought my art history text books.
Maybe life was saying, "You have more important things to do than go see a movie you can watch later!" |D

Need to edit the "tolerance" portion of my sig. I've been meaning to so it's more clear, but keep putting it off. Or maybe remove it altogether. Keep seeing it thrown around randomly, usually in disagreements I don't plan to get involved in, and suddenly, there it is. That quote with or without my name by it, making me involved whether it was intended or not. And I just head desk to myself.

Must avoid staying up 'til weird hours tonight. Sleep is the best way for me to get rid of a stubborn headache.

DEER STATUS
Toukan's on, but my mood will be affecting him. Not too active tonight. I decided to go ahead and have his antlers finally start growing back (after Virgil/VCG ironically cast orca antlers on him yesterday, the exact antlers he'd be wearing to show the start of antler regrow XD; ). It's only about...4? 5? days ahead of schedule. I think he's had enough being mistaken for a doe by stags only interested in does. *avoids being kicked*

This morning was a waste of time and money. 8D;

Normal morning:
First bus arrives between 8:10 and 8:15am.
It gets to the mall at about 8:40am.
Second bus arrives at mall at 9:00am.
It gets to campus at about 9:30am.

But this is not how things went.
Instead, we had:
First bus arrived at 8:35am. I shouldn't have gotten on it, though, but I figured that even with the sluggish pace people were moving at on the road, I should get to the mall in time for my "last chance bus" at 9:30am.
Nope.
Over an hour later, I finally reach the mall at 10:00am.
There is now no second bus I can take until 11:30am.
I would get to my first class in time for the last half hour out of 2 and 1/2 hours of it.
So I say "screw this" and take the next bus home, which was only a minute later (it was also late). It took half an hour, the amount of time the first bus should've taken had there been normal traffic.

What have I learned?
If it's even snowing the tiniest bit in the morning, people will flip out, go slow, get into accidents, and cause roads to get closed, along with buses needing to take detours that add on extra time.
Never again.

And to make it worse, the snow was the good kind that sticks to the ground, but it's all melted now. DX

So yes. I'm at home. Didn't go to my morning class. Class in the middle at 2 was canceled for the day anyway, and my last class (Flash) is at 5:30pm. Gonna call my friend and see if she can drive me into it, since she's in that one too.

But I wasted bus money for no reason. Go traffic. 8D

But on the bright side...
I got to eat more of the awesome chicken and veggie dish my mom made (I describe it as "soup you need to cut"), and I'm on my second cup of coffee (I don't drink coffee on school days usually, cuz it can dry out my mouth). 8]

Well, looks like those video clips I've had sitting from "Tophat Takeover" are gonna keep sitting since, no matter what song I try to import into Windows Movie Maker, it keeps saying the file is corrupted or unsupported or what-have-you.

Of course I missed my chance to see Avatar AGAIN.
What happened this time?
I stepped out of the room at quarter to 1 to scan my storyboard so my Flash teacher would have a copy of it, and decided to scan a few doodles from my notebook. Only took 15 minutes. I get back in the classroom, the teacher is gone. I hadn't told him I had no ride to get to the theatre.
GO ME.

On the bright side, I no longer need to worry about having enough money to give my friend later as gas money.

*head desk* I may as well download a bootleg at this rate...

But at least I have stuff I can do for the next 4 hours as that's how long before I go to Flash class.
Tempted to get food too. Need to break this bill somehow since the movie won't be doing that. >> And the pizza at the student center IS pretty good...unless my friend will wanna stop at Dunkin Donuts on the way home...and that's always good. (If I only I'd brought my DD coupons. XD;; )
