Welly well, look who Masque found yesterday. =D At first he thought he was just inspecting a little picto glitch, but upon a closer inspection it seemed that this fawn bore a very similar pictogram. Normally, fawns are a good enough reason to find somewhere else to go, but Masque was curious enough to stick around for forced introductions.

And he won't admit it, but he felt a teensy bit obligated to give him a bit of company since the fawn was just dancing around alone. ;3

An oddity indeed, but a nice screenshot regardless. XD Nice work editing it, too. I like the effects that you added.

Although I must admit that even I'm remotely confused as to what happened today. XD; For a moment, I thought that Masque had a change of heart, but he also lowered his antlers a few times which lead Wyvern to think otherwise. ^^;

Ah yes, well, I wouldn't

Ah yes, well, I wouldn't call it a change of heart but perhaps an attempted reconciliation. The lowering of antlers was followed by head shaking to show he wasn't trying to start something. But really, there's no reason for anyone to trust him so if he wants to get across a neutral message, he'll have to try much harder. xD
I don't really know why he's starting to act out of character, though.

I didn't see the head

I didn't see the head shaking, because that darn willow was obscuring most of the screen. XD I feel remotely bad, though, as Wyvern wasn't exactly helping the situation either. If anything, she was just promoting a lack of trust in acting all nervous and fearful. Way to go, Wy. XD;

Anyway, I can also sympathize with the out of character thing. Pavo's become a lot more mellow over the past couple of weeks, too, which is rather surprising. I guess Peppa calmed him down some and losing a fight or two set him straight. Maybe Masque is encountering a similar situation. I mean, he danced with a fawn and didn't attack anyone that I could see today. XD

Scythe: Hah, well I don't blame her for being like that because Fled was a nervous wreck himself. I don't think he can quite understand why Masque would ever try to approach him without wanting trouble. But really, I think Masque is just making a halfhearted attempt to repair things between them and yet I don't think I feel like I can get them closer than they were today. He's kinda gone back to his angry place because Fled won't allow him near and his attempt just kinda flopped.
I might try again, though. ;D

Kumiko: Yes, I remember seeing Paavo playing with him later. Masque actually got a tad jealous that he was playing with "his" fawn, but you couldn't pay him to confront Paavo. xD

I still feel awful about the

I still feel awful about the whole situation. Wyvern's relationship with her brother Zilant is so different from the one that Fled and Masque share. It's a shame, (but interesting to read and write about nonetheless *is shot*). Anyway, do let me know if you should try it again. I doubt it, but maybe things will somehow work out a tad bit smoother next time. XD

In the mean time, Masque, Pavo, and Paavo should start an angry stag club. Or at least be drinking buddies. Heck, human Pavo's a bartender. XD;

Heh, Masque will give it

Heh, Masque will give it another shot if he feels up to it. I think all he wants is to do is have at least one neutral interaction to show he isn't constantly out for blood.

As much as he would like to deny it, he'd probably try to get along with Paavo and Pavo. xD Since he has zero friends and of everyone, they seem to be the most compatible for a start. It would indeed be interesting.
