This blog is where we will post when
Crux is off into the forest for a game. Clues will be wiped when the session has ended, tally's posted (and screencaps once I can get them working again), and new clues posted next time. Feel free to use the comments section to work out the clues together - some of them may eventually get pretty hard!
We may also post random forest based riddles here as well so check in now and then. Prizes ARE given! Also,
PLEASE remember to follow the rules - it's more fun that way.

if you identify yourself correctly we will draw you a chibideer! <3 **subject is of your choosing, so it doesn't have to be of the deer that caught her OR you can give it away as a gift by picking someone else's deer to have drawn!
I do take screencaptures of the winners now, and they will get posted here at the end of the game day, but in order to give you the choice of what to have drawn I require you to speak up and let me know the deer/picto you used to catch her.

Crux's RULES of Hide and Seek:
1 Easy play (for fauns) =
Pictograms ON | HARD play =
Turn Pictograms OFF and follow the CLUES ONLY. Crux may be hiding just about anywhere - including IN things, on TOP of things, or UNDER things - so look carefully! She'll usually leave at least a tiny bit showing to make things fair, and will often call if a deer comes close-but-not-quite - so mysterious noises from nowhere are a good indication you've come to the right spot!
2. Pick a spell (any spell) to cast on Crux once you find her! This lets her know you are
playing the game. Once you think you've found her (you're spell symbol should light right up, hehe!) cast away!
3. First deer to spell her gets shape shifted and danced on and then she'll be off again to collect her next spell and then move to her new hiding place! (If more than one deer finds her at once expect a crazydance party to ensue.) Feel free to follow her to the mushroom circle and play again, but...
4. IF you catch Crux sleeping in a mushroom circle please don't follow her when she runs off unless invited (foot tapping + head nod + trot off & repeat). It's CHEATING and she will lead you on a merry chase. >:D She has yet to be caught unless she actually wants to be. (more on her abilities in
her bio)
it should go without saying that cheating of any kind ruins the game and takes away the fun from everyone.

Replacing them with slimy blue;
One side safe the other not;
Beneath the arch I can be caught.
Crux was caught at all three locations today! If one of these is your deer, post your request and I'll scribble you a chibi! Today was really hard, as there were so many deer lingering around her hiding places that it took a long time to work her way in. <>.<> (and then she somehow lost her antlers which made hiding even harder!)

Somehow I missed capturing the trolling of Nemesis at the oak tree! Random captures are random, sadly. *pokes the capture function with the spork-of-fixing* But it should have gone here.

As a general rule, Crux only counts successful captures as ones that actually spell her. If you find her and then run off she will likely not be in the same location when you get back, so it's always a good idea to carry a spell when hunting the doe.

(edit) I must have walked past you hidden in that tree a couple times?! Though I'm not sure if you still hadn't got a spell or whatever. I tried checking all mushroom circles and didn't see you. Gosh, playing without pictogram's is so fun. :'D

To all those playing: Do remember that Crux will ONLY count you as successful at capturing her if you cast a spell on her to let her know she is, in fact, found. If you run past, stare at her hiding spot for an hour, or stand there laughing at her she may simply vanish and reappear somewhere else - so when playing it's always a good idea to keep a spell handy! If she gets tired of waiting for you to stop laughing, she may pop out at you anyway before running off to her next hiding place, but she will not count it as being 'caught'. <^.^>
