Umay. ?? || Apprehensive of the demon. Healthy respect for her, interested by, though will not approach if she is with her group.
Learned -- Respect. Caution.
Djinn. ?+ || Not entirely certain of the doe. Has many friends, not all of which were friendly. Seems gentle enough.
Learned -- Acceptance. Kindness.
Eglantine. ?+ || Only briefly met, but was fond of her easygoing behaviour, and was softened by her willingness to comfort.
Learned -- Closeness. Fondness. Contentment.
Eli. ?=o || Has met on a couple occasions. Finds him incredibly fascinating, and somewhat enigmatic. Has begun 'testing the waters', or pushing buttons. Merely out of interest.
Learned -- Interest. Greediness. Seduction. Caution.
Requiem. ?+o || A shy, stuttering male that Barachiel finds guiltlessly comforting, in that he isn't the only socially awkward being around. May wind up putting this to his own uses, whether the nervous wreck likes it or not.
Learned -- Smugness. Guiltless. Comfort.
Farrah. ?= || Uncertain of this one, barely met. Hasn't yet based any judgments.
Illrose. ?= || Uncertain of this one, barely met. Hasn't yet based any judgments.

The white had circled the other male aftet he had gotten up and moved over to him. A twisted smile was on his lips again, tilting his head slightly as he looked into the other one's face. "Hmm... eh want to tell me now you are tired of my...ah... pleasent company, yes?"
It had been hours already that the two had been staring quietly at one another. Slow curiosity eventually called for a more verbal approach. Barachiel had stood and investigated, though had not truly expected this white one to speak first. His lips down-turned in a mask of confusion, the stag murmured out a reply, "You stare too much. Why?"
"Not the only one who does this, yes?" he chuckled. After all... the other had returned his staring, right? The white made a movement, seemingly it should represent a shrug. "I am just a curious man, that's all.." he replied with a grin. This didn't even seem to be a lie. "...haven't seen your face before..."
The white smile made an indirect accusation that the ex-archangel didn't bother denying. Truth was truth. Still frowning, the stag grunted as a response to the other's reasoning. Made enough sense not to be questioned. "Nor I yours. We are strangers, it is only natural that there be no recognition." Simple fact, having missed the point entirely.
"Yes, yes..." he agreed with a quick nod and another grin. "Is...eh... naturally to be curious of strangers, yes?" the white's head moved slowly and constantly, as if the changeing of angle would make it easier to see for him. "Nice necklace there..." he mentioned seemingly in passing. In fact it had been one of the first things he had noticed on the other. Not only because of the color that had a well visible contrast to the surrounding for him... 'human' things always catch his attention.
"Only the strangers that are worthy of wasting time for," the slate gray male deadpanned, the frown contorted into an unhappy smile before he released the expression. When the other stag's eyes drifted to his neck, Barachiel followed his gaze to the pendant. "A memory." Everyone had a memory, he was sure. Sea storm eyes returned to the stranger, and he picked an item of his own. "You wear strange things, as well."
"This whole place is a waste of time." came the reply, not without a hint of bitterness. For a moment he turned his gaze off the other to let out a despising snort. It didn't took long until his eyes found their way back to the other. "A memory... I see.." he smirked again. "Yes, I do..." he answered simply, obviously not willing to explain it with any word.
Though his expression betrayed nothing, the ex-archangel did not miss the others' pointed comment. He had likely been here for a good deal of time. The thought did not settle well with Chiel. Frowning again, he listened quietly for some enlightening answer, but the white one casually evaded his curiosity without effort. He kept his counsel for a minute before he pressed further. "How long have you been in this 'waste of time', then?"
"Long enough..." he gave another avoiding answer. An almost apologizing smile followed. "It's hard to count days here, yes? With the sun nailed to the sky..." he chuckled, moving his head again, shifting his weight on his hooves as well. "I... assume you haven't been here for long?"
((bah, I am sorry for putting a cut here like this... but its really late here (or early?pf) |D I will answer again tomorrow... and go to bed for today... i fear my brain will fail me soon because of tiredness, thank you very much so far, i really enjoy this!))
Dark eyebrows were raised in an exasperated expression when the stranger continued to refuse him any valuable information. At the very least the white stag gave him something about the forest. Sea eyes glanced up at the sun as though to confirm what he had said before he looked back to the male before him. "Long enough," he rebounded, a smirk played at his lips before he grew somber again. "Do you bear a name?"
Alright, yes, I'm enjoying this greatly.
Sleep well.
[=11] The white's mouthcorner twitched slightly over the answer. For a brief moment he seemed to ponder to go on with those answers, that gave no information... eventually he opened his mouth again. "Jack." he said.
A few steps to the side where made, obviously he felt uneasy staning unmoved for too long. His eyes didn't leave the stranger as he went. "And who are you...?"
The stag offered a curt nod at the name once it was spoken, like it was nothing but water beneath the bridge. He was certain to remember it, though. He didn't bother moving as this Jack did. The gray stag's face became slightly confused, in fact, when the white one moved off a bit. He felt little discomfort standing still as a statue, though he decided to follow Jack's lead and move slightly. He did show vague discomfort at the question. Clearly he was not accustomed to being asked, as he had asked the other. "... Barachiel." Not much of a conversationalist, the gray stag kept a sudden silence after this, waiting.
The white didn't bother to return the bow, instead he lifted an eyebrow over the slight change that seemed to happen to the other... a change in the mood. He couldn't determine what exactly it was, though. But it seemed to have to do with the question for the name. "Barachiel..." he repeated, the accent in his voice getting a slight bit harsher with this one word, before he fell silent as well, watching the strange one in front of him again.
"So..." he said after a moment, obviously tasting this one short word on his tongue. "...you are not eeeh.... 'from here' yes...? Come from 'outside'?"
The gray male purposely decided to ignore the immediate attention his behavior received from the white one, sea storm eyes narrowed as he peered distractedly at the black feather in this one's ear. He looked back to this Jack's face when he up-started the conversation. "You could say it was 'outside', yes." He gave a curious frown, but didn't add anything else.
He silenced again after this short answer, for a moment he just kept watching the other again, then he let out another snort, and a chuckle. "Hmm... you...eh... talk like someone with sectets, yes? Giving answers... but doesn't say anything..." ...he knew those kind of answers pretty well himself... they where his favourites.
Another movement went through his body, let him shift his weight from one hoof to another.
He didn't seem to be very surprised about the secrecy of the grey... everyone had their secrets here, after all.
Dark eyes regarded the other with a strange caution. Someone with secrets? Doubtless. Everyone has a skeleton in the closet, but it is much more than a skeleton for Barachiel. "You have done no different, with your flat answers." The stag had moved again, and his fidgeting is peculiar to him, as he remained as he was. "Most people seem to speak this way, I have noticed."
"Of course they do, yes?.... hm would say... everyone does... " he grinned. "...everyone has secrets, yes?... and be it just... the origin..." he shook his head slightly, moved again. Slowly his steps seem to form a circle around the grey again. "Say... is it maybe a human?" he guessed, looking at the pendant again. For him this was the closest guess... Most of the ones he had met here from 'outside' with a 'secret' had been human, or at least something close enough to this.
His face remained a slightly confused mask of quiet as he tried to keep his eyes on the wandering stranger. The absolute certainty of the white male's statements were a careless comfort. The frown turned slowly into a flat-line expression. "I cared for humans. I never was one." His wings made an almost defensive gesture over the pendant, but he said no more.
He stopped agai, casted another long look over the other... he had seen other creatures with wings here.... overall the weirdest things seemed to inhabit this place... so he had thought of it beeing another funny invention of this so called 'magical' forest. His head went up again, tilting slightly aside... as if he was listening to something... or someone... together with the words of the grey another connections between wings... caring... and humans was formed. Something he refused to believe though.
On the other hand he hadn't believed in dragons either, before he had met one in this place.
Eventually he let out a snort, a grin appearing on his face again, this time more tensed. "Caring he...? Like some... guardian...eeh... or what...?"
He had not been here long enough to know what was normal, though at this point it was dreadfully apparent that most things resembled deer. He was no exception. The only differences were his wings and his face, which looked similar to that which he had cared for. The white one was obviously intelligent, or at least just attentive enough to catch on. It made Barachiel uneasy. "I was a guardian, yes..." He seemed to think on whether to continue before he did so. "A watcher."
"Guardian eh...? Watcher..." he started to move again, shook his head quickly a few times..."Don't like it to be watched..." he mumbled, though it didn't seem to be ment for the grey.. his head and eyes where lowered down while he spoke those words.
Suddenly his head snapped up again. "Why are you here, eh?" he asked now with outright and blunt curiousity... a curiousity that always pushed him when he met one from 'outside'. He still hoped that other's 'stories' may could help him solve his own, personal riddle of his appereance here...
... this blunt way of asking, though... rarely brought success... he knew that. Still he tried it... just because...
The male saw no reason to repeat what he had said in the first place, while this Jack mused about his statement. Barachiel briefly wondered if he had been offensive in some way, though it didn't concern him much. The sudden question came off as almost aggressive at first, and the grey stag only watched him, deciding whether he should bother responding. Blue-grey eyes narrowed over the white male's grin, plainly not interested in divulging private information. "Perhaps I wished to see the sights." The tones used were flat, though they suggested sarcasm. "I could ask the same of you."
"Oh...yes... the sights...eeh... are wonderful here yes? Trees.... trees and ... nochmehr trees..." once again he stopped, his head swinging around to look at said 'sights', then back at the stranger. He grinned again. "Me... heh... maybe the same, yes?" a chuckle followed those words. "...it's a nice place to be when sleeping..." he added, this time actually giving away a piece of information.
"Splendid." He deadpanned again, not changing his off-put expression. The different sounds and smells were interesting enough, but the trees were borderline redundant. Barachiel wasn't sure if he liked it. Not that he felt very attached to anything. "Sleep... You sleep to see this place?" His face showed complete confusion then. "So you... There is a way out?" He glanced around. Though he had an air of disinterest, he was genuinely curious. "Why come here, of all places, when asleep?" His sudden burst of talkativeness was noticed, and he became quiet again.
The sudden change in behaviour let his ears perk up again. Another grin appeared on his face, this time it seemed slightly triumphant. "A way out...?" he repeated, almost innocent sounding. He knew a few who had been after this... a way out. Seeing this place as nothing more than a prison. He himself had felt the same way. "Hmm why would you want to get out eh? Don't like it here, no? Is so.. eh... peaceful here, yes?" it was obvious, this wherent his own words, he was just repeating what had been told to him back then, when he was desperately searching for a way out... in the end he had found a few of them. This prison wasn't as safe as it seemed at first.
The last question of the grey seemed to stay ignored or unheard.
Blueish eyes darkened when the others' amusement seemed fastened to his actions. The grey stag felt there was mockery about, and it displeased him smartly. His mood turned suddenly foul, Barachiel took a step to the left, turning away from the white stag and his weird words. The ex-archangel lowered his mouth to scratch at ugly scars. Then his head turned back to glare carefully at this Jack. "You do not believe that. 'Waste of time', you had said." Case in point, he was catching onto this one's cynicism, not too different from his own. "Why do these others like it here? Were they not taken from-" His jaw worked when he tried to think of a word. "Their 'homes'?"
The movement of the grey seem to let him tense, movements of someone who seemed to be used to await attacks behind each movement. He let out a slight grunt about this reflex, before the grin reappeared on his face. "Is... eh... home, for some, yes?... Hmmm some even say its a place to hide..."
Slowly the tension seemed to fade from the white's muscles again, though only the clear visible tension. ".... you don't like it here?" He smirked again
