He is a cheerful enough fellow but gets somber sometimes. He often drifts into trails of loosely associated thought and may even go off on a blind walk while he does. Snippets of these you'll find here and the question/event that sparked them as well. In-forest, this action will be demonstrated by a complete stop, turn-about, and steady trot in the direction opposite of wherever he was originally going. One might be able to regain his attention for a short time, after which he will sit and just brood where he is. |

That was the work of one who'd found their way atop the great oak and dropped the mask so close that it nearly split me in half. When I was young, I thought it had been work of the Gods but now I am no longer so sure. |

Fan pelt, long mask, antelope antlers~ This is his default set. It is most often shown around very close and trusted friends or just when he's relaxing. The mask is never removed with this but he might have flowers in his antlers at times. The fan pelt~ This is mostly for design. He will avoid nuzzles wearing it and avoid the dark as well. In the summer his fur is slick or sticky with this on because it's a thicker coat of fur than the Great Argus or Golden Butterfly pelts. He will be around the stream and Drinkplaats in this...washing off and staying cool. The long mask~ Since he is usually near water in this set he wears his mask at all times. If it is removed he will shy away from playful friends and sit alone in the Oak or somewhere far enough away from water. All this is because he fears his reflection, which shows a human face even though he has that of a endless forest deer. The antelope antlers~ He will playfight in this set and defend against a small threat but will otherwise avoid conflict. Soko likes to stay in a good mood. The Fighting Set Great argus or golden butterfly pelt, long mask, antelope antlers~ This set he'll often have on. He'll often fight in this set if he knows he's going to win or just trot around with his friends and boast about who he's beaten. The great argus or golden butterfly pelt~ These pelts are bright and thin and remind Soko of summer and the Sun. He will wear them in winter if it is night or wander the ruins in them during the day. Wearing these he puts in his mind that light is with him and won't shy away from anything, even air-sitting (which he usually avoids unless in play). Long mask~ In this set his mask acts as a shield and a battering ram. He will swing his head in attempts to strike an opponent with it, and back up to protect his chest and neck with it. Antelope anters~ These are rarely used, because of how thin they are. Sokonei will mostly playfight with them in this set. In a full-on fight he will avoid getting them involved and risk breaking them. The Sorrow Set Real deer pelt and antelope antlers (without mask)~ This is a set Soko will very rarely wear. It will be worn after a particularly bad fight or some other event that strikes him deep...like a death or other bad news. (If he plays at all, It's OOc) The real deer pelt~ It is thin but warm and his gold patterns are not displayed but for faint lines of pale yellow. He will stay in the dark to sulk or sleep. Soko will be rather unfriendly to his friends and avoid any contact at all, and will most likely be air-sitting somewhere. The antelope antlers~ Here they will not be used, even if they are the only means he has to defend himself. He will most likely run away from any sort of fight at all. |
