So holy crap, a new biography layout for Del. Many thanks to Apel for coming up with the layout and Mis for helping with some fancy CSS that will probably be seen when I put more information on here. Delilah's old biography is pretty broken in terms of backgrounds and links so this little WIP will take its place. This section will be used for Del's in-game diaries, so hopefully I will get her on more often so it gets filled up.

This a very wonderful page to come back to. At least once a day I seem to return and the music only furthers my love for this character. Delilah is sweet and innocent, she makes me wish she would forever stay a fawn so that Jettem would always be able to play with her and see the joy in those bright green eyes every time.

silentlikethat - your comment really made my day. thank you. ;w; i'd love to keep del a fawn forever.. but she needs to grow up eventually. ;; definitely not anytime soon though, i have so much i'd like to do with her. :'D i'm sure Del would love to meet Jettem sometime. <3

Kaoori - yep, that was my Del! sorry for her odd actions at first, i was having some issues with the hotkeys/clicking the action buttons, haha. Del really appreciated Takeshi defending her against the 'naked' deer, and i'm glad she cheered him up. :3

Aaron huddled up close to Delilah, burrowing his face into her neck and pressing his shivering body close to her. He was careful not to potentially smother her, considering her size in comparison to him. "I'm o-okay, I pruh-promise..." he said in a rather strained voice, he breathed through his mouth at a slower then normal pace, each breath rather heavy like a sigh. "Th-this happens all thuh-the time......... It's nuh-normal............... at luh-least for me." He had to pause between sentences to catch his breath. His ears were drooped, and he was struck with another hard shudder.

Delilah embraced Aaron’s closeness and rubbed her cheek against his head; forelimbs folded neatly beneath her tiny body and fluffy tail tucked between the crevice of her rear. His labored breaths concerned the doll, each second he paused to catch his breath sent the girl on edge as she waited for his words. She cocked her large ears back and forth, slightly confused. “Normal?” She questioned, more so to herself than him, “That’s not normal, silly!” She tried to remain enthusiastic, but she wasn’t quite sure what or why he was feeling the way he did, “You'll feel better soon, Aaron.” Or at least she hoped.

He shuddered again, his breath shook as he inhaled and his eyes fluttered half closed. He lifted his head a bit, raising it high enough to rest his chin on top of her head. His ears remained drooped, only twitching to listen to her words. "I'm uh-always like thuh-this..." He paused again to take another breath, "Suh-sometimes it just gets a luh-lot worse." He rasped a bit near the end, pressing closer to her again. Feel better soon... yeah, maybe a little bit. His expression shifted to a solemn one, but only for a second, before he forced a smile. "Yuh-yeah, you're right. Duh-don't worry Del." He sure wished he could be completely normal.

No matter how hard she tried

No matter how hard she tried to keep him warm, her attempts were futile and his shivering seemed worse somehow. She wished she was bigger; if she was as big as Samson, she’d be able to keep him warm a whole lot easier. The doll’s ears flopped down, feeling sad for him. She luckily never experienced any kind of sickness or pain, but she sure wondered how it felt. “You should rest, you should.” She said in small, yet persuasive tone. Perhaps he would feel better after sleeping for a while. Or a couple days. Hopefully not that long.

He started to calm down a

He started to calm down a bit. His breaths eased and the fever lessened. His shivers became less frequent as he lay, pressed hard against Del. He presses his head against the side of her neck, lightly of course, and sniffs at the air. Del always smelled nice, comforting really. "Yuh-you're right, I shuh-should... I'm vuh-very tired...." It was true. He was quite tired. His eyes began to flutter closed, and he yawned, a small squeak resulting from it. As he snuggled as close to Del as he could without crushing her, he rested his eyes and started to doze off.

"Here, eat this, it will help

"Here, eat this, it will help with the pain," the buck said, placing a few large fragments of willow bark in front of the fawn. He had managed to pick up one or two of Herla's remedies, mostly due to them being used on himself when he was injured. He had picked the cotton from the cat tail reeds at the pond, soaking them in a mixture of water and Pipsissewa plant. "I'm sorry, but this may hurt." Trying to be as gentle as possible, he gently began to dab at the wounds that were scattered over the fawns body. The plant made for a good antiseptic, or so he had been told. Next, and last, he left the Old Oak briefly to fetch some Smooth Sumac leaves and bark. Crushing them, and giving them a brief dip in the pond, the buck returned to the fawn, gingerly putting bits of the crushed leaves and park on the wounds to help slow the bleeding.

The fawn was silent and

The fawn was silent and shaky. She looked at the pieces of willow bark and hesitantly stretched her neck to grab it with her teeth. The doll was timid, but she slowly ate the bark that she picked up, fully trusting that her savior knew what he was doing. She could only bring herself to swallow the chewed pieces a couple of times… because it was certainly not the best taste in the world.

Exhausted, Delilah lied down and started to tear up. The pain burned and her body ached. This feeling… it was nothing she had ever experienced before. She hated it. She feared it. She never wanted something like this to happen ever again.

When the stag dabbed her wounds with the plant materials, she whimpered incessantly; tears streamed down her face and she made no attempt to hide the terrible pain she was feeling.
