Note: Endriaga can generally be assumed to be resting with Phaios or hanging around in a tree nearby [but likely will not be logged in]. Not a deer as she was before, but instead a miniature dragon.

How many years has it been?
Has spent the last few months with little in the way of drama. Content to be bored most of the time, although she does at times feel quite lonely. As such, she has been happily reconnecting with Illrose and Carmine when she comes across them. In particular, surprised and incredibly grateful when first Illrose and then Carmine sought her out in the deep fog of October and stayed with her for a number of days until it passed; the mist bound her senses uncomfortably and left her on edge and feeling blind, but having a steady presence greatly eased that stress.
A little more melancholy now that the snow has arrived, often lost in thought. Not really a fan of the cold. Spending a little more time around Eraline's grave when she's on her own.
Might as well say MY PAGE.

As the doe finally gets her hooves beneath her, she shifts and pushes herself up for a gasp of air as muck blops off her face and into the water with a wet, squishy noise. Who put the lights out? Phai gives her head a good shake, flinging chunks of mud everywhere as she tries to clear it away from her eyes. Coughing and sputtering, she finally manages to squint her eyes open a bit so she can see the curious mudslinger in front of her. "Oh... yuck," she groans softly as she catches sight of her forelegs, and then her chest. A loud snort clears out her nose a bit so she can breathe properly and conveniently express her disgust at the same time. "...Well, I guess now I need a bath, too, huh?" she says, peering down at Pica again. Blech!

Phai runs her tongue across the top of her mouth, trying to spit out some of the grit she'd gotten in there. Oh, that's awful. Sand in your teeth. Augh! She blinks at Pica, who looks something like a gator waiting to spring at her. Well, at least she's getting some of that mud off. Rising, she makes for water deep enough to cover herself in - but not before stamping a hoof in the shallows to send a little wave at Pica, a smirk on her lips.
Oh. Just read up on his past,

Apparently her water-disguise wasn't working. Grumpy, Pica makes a move to rise, but not before a small wave gives her a small stumble backwards. Coughing, Pica shakes water from her face, sneezing out the water and muck before stumbling onto the grass to frantically wipe her closed eyes in an attempt to stop the stinging where water had gotten into it.

Rust-tipped ears perk at Pica's cough and Phai turns her head back to make sure the fawn's okay before dunking her head into cleaner water and giving it a good shake. She shakes it again as she lifts it up, blinking hard to clear the water away. There - now she can see much better, without quite so much grit dropping into her eyes. She'd need to give herself a proper scrub to get rid of all of it, but that'd do for now. "You alright, Pica?" she calls as she trots back to shore, hooves splashing. She hadn't drowned the poor thing, had she? Phai frowns, feeling bad.
OhIsee. -- Little did Pica

Little did Pica know that by putting her head lower than most of her body, she was directing the water towards her eyes and nose just since gravity is an unknown thing. So she was constantly sneezing and rubbing at her eyes, though occasionally taking a few snatches of grass while she was at it. At Pai's question however, her problem is solved as she lifts her head abruptly. "Hm? Pica's fine." She waves a hoof dismissively.

Was Phaios sleeping too?
An ear twitched toward the golden doe resting on her opposite side while the other swiveled tentatively toward the doe in question. A small sigh escaped her lips as her head lifted some to rest heavily on a tucked forelimb. "You don't like me...do you?" Willow questioned, her voice quiet, but just loud enough for the doe to hear if she were indeed listening...
Niriya- Phai peeks over
Phai peeks over Pica's doodlings curiously, taking a step closer so that she can see better. "What've you done there?" she queries as she studies the lines. She'd wait a moment to give the fawn a chance to answer before setting off towards the flowing tears of the idol at the river's head.

The tension had not gone unnoticed by Phaios, but was tacitly acknowledged in her hesitant approach to the familiar group. Unlike Sonne, however, she finds little to fear in the present company, and reclines readily.
Though the doe often lays with her head down, it's actually rather rare that she's sleeping. Such is the case now, made evident by the twisting of one ear in the direction of the smaller deer's soft question. Her eyes flicker open so that she can study Willow with a sidelong gaze, but it takes her several moments to consider a proper response.
"I don't know you. There's a difference," she decides upon at last.

I knew his last partner well, and have seen Morioch and his sister grow from fawnhood." Her body bathed in sunlight, Pica felt that this place could not get any better. Somebody she trusted, a warm day and full of energy. Well, not quite, seeing that her high was beginning to wear off. Slowing down, Pica is astonished to see Pai bounding along like a happy gigantic-Pica. Well.
Challenge acceptedIt Pai felt like she wanted it that way, then she'd get it. With a cheeky grin at Pai, Pica began jumping and hopping higher - and with a startled yelp stumbled into the deep ditch of water. Spluttering, Pica pokes her head above the water, straining to keep it there. By this time Pai was already hopping her second time through the water from the Crystone, and Pica scrambled out as fast as she could before Pai did her shakey-water.Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

The doe's head pops up at Pica's yelp, though she can't see much through all the water that's falling on her head. Stumbling and sputtering, she clambers back to the bank and hauls herself up, drenching the grass beneath her as she goes. Another quick shake frees her eyes from most of the remaining blur and she peers about for the fawn, ears pressed forward urgently. What had she missed?
Upon finding Pica at the water's edge and dripping wet, she can take a guess. "A little deep over there, is it?" she laughs.

Pica would have been fine with falling in any other time, but not in front of somedeer she respected. With an air of dignity, Pica shakes one hoof delicately, then the others with deliberate and exaggerated movements, as if she had meant to fall in. Of course she wasn't clumsy enough to accidentally do that. Attempting a Pai-shake, Pica manages a miserable poof of spiky fur - she simply didn't have enough fur to sufficiently fling the water out.
The fawn inclines her head regally, then relents and nods miserably at Pai's teasing question. "..Yus...But Pica meant to fall in!" She added in her defence.

"Oh, I see," she smiles. "Taking a bath in the deep part - smart. It might be easier to take your bath up here, though - the water does the scrubbing for you." The doe turns to inspect her brown fur, picking out a few lingering abnormally-brown patches where the mud has tucked itself out of easy reach from the water - namely, behind her elbows and on her belly. She gives these areas a few good licks, making a face at the gritty taste. Pleh, just when she thought she was through with sand in her mouth.

Hi, Red. :3 I'd love to roleplay with you, but... I don't really know how to respond to your post? There's nothing in it concerning my deer or for them to really interact with, it's kinda just "you" (by which I assume you mean your deer) talking to something..?
Maybe you could read some of the other roleplays that have taken place on this blog to get an idea of what I'm talking about :3
yes but you see in this RP i
if you trust me im a role playing vetran. i been roleplaying for nearly two years on wolfquest
shall we go on?
lol... And if you trust me,
WQ limits the length and content of your posts. They have a specific word bank of what you can and cannot use, unlike TEF, and you can only write one line at a time.
Your post above doesn't give me anything to respond to. I suppose I could have my deer just standing somewhere and doing whatever, but at that point we're not really roleplaying together... My deer has no reason to go seek out yours, and yours is apparently on an epic quest and has no reason to seek out mine.
Again, why don't you read some of the other roleplays on this blog to get an idea of what I'm talking about?
"P-Phaios?" The gray doe
The gray doe stepped out from the bushes nearby, shaking her head to clear the sleepiness out of her eyes. She was quite tired after watching over her sister`s fawns. Akhen should be okay with them. I hope. She thought, suppressing a chuckle. The sight of the new father with his fawns was quite hilarious and adorable, she thought.
Oria smiled as she spotted her mother. "Hey, Phaios! Have you seen Aria`s fawns yet? Aren`t they adorable?" She half-gushed.

Of course not, Poppy :3 See,
See, Red? Full sentences written in the third person (because you are not your deer. You are a person playing your deer. You cannot walk down to the pond to commune with spirits, but your deer can. This is the difference between In Character [IC] and Out of Character [OOC])
-------------------------
Rust-tipped ears flick towards the rustling of leaves as Oria emerges. The younger doe's questions elicit a quiet chuckle. Poor Oria must have been running around like a headless chicken lately; her memory seems to be a bit sketchy. "Yes, dear - I've been about when I'm able. I was there the first night, remember?" She'd found herself a quiet patch of grass in between visits, but she had indeed been visiting at least once a day to check in on the struggling fawns. "And yes, they're lovely. You might not be saying so once they start getting into everything they shouldn't, though," the doe says with a knowing smile.
Oria blinked. "Oh.... Oh
"Sorry about that, Phaios. I guess I`m just... well, really determined this time. I don`t want the same things to happen to these fawns that happened with Irie and Autheiu. I just want to things to be right this time." The doe smiled weakly, though she felt a pang of sadness.
Poor Irie and Autheiu! They hadn`t been born out of love; if only they could see that their mother loved them just as much. Autheiu seemed to be more calm about it... it was Irie she was worried about. Aria`s first daughter didn`t seem to be in the best state of mind, from what she'd heard. It wasn`t fair.
Not that she was totally exempt from this, she thought- she hadn`t been around for her niece and nephew enough. That`s why I have to do things right this time. She thought, as the image of the three tiny fawns popped into her mind. I can`t let it happen again.

Oria nodded. "He certainly will, I hope! The fawns are quite small, I guess..." She admitted reluctantly. The gray doe didn`t like the thought that the fawns would be too small to do much. "But Akhen`s a good father, I think. You should have seen him trying to get Kyra to eat blueberries. And yes, Paola is quite small... but I think she`ll be okay, as long as we keep a close on her, right?"
Oria frowned. So she wasn`t the only one who had noticed it. Aria had sleeping quite often- even more than usual, for a doe who had just given birth. "Phaios... do you think that the birth... hurt her, maybe? I mean, carrying all that extra weight in there and then having to give birth to three fawns... it couldn`t have been easy. And she`s just so tired, all the time..." [i]Will that ever happen to me, if I have fawns?[i] The doe thought, a troubled look on her face.

RedRaptor: Quote:and also IC
Not quite. Roleplay (RP) and being In Character (IC) go hand in hand, and have nothing to do with whether or not characters have met one another. Roleplaying is the interaction of one or more characters with one another and/or their environment. You can roleplay with yourself (which is really just like writing a book and 'technically' not roleplay) or with other players and their characters. IC describes anything which pertains to the story, environment, and characters. Out of Character (OOC) pertains to anything involving the real world and players. You cannot roleplay without being IC. Like Calida said earlier, you can 'play as yourself,' but the way most people do this is still essentially making a character and playing with it. It's just putting 'you' as the character. You still are not a deer in a magical forest, but you are putting your personality and traits into a deer character.
Again, yes, I'd be happy to roleplay with you, but I'd also like to maybe help you learn how roleplay is generally done here in TEFc, and hopefully even encourage you to write true stories on your own, instead of the first-person one-liners typical of games such as WolfQuest :3
Niriya -
The doe moves to catch Pica as she starts to tumble, but the fawn rights herself before she can do much more than jerk instinctively. She can't help but smile as the little one wades through the water - water that hardly runs over her carpuses as she gives up on the remaining dried flecks in her fur and lopes back towards the head of the river. While Pica takes up the little waterfalls, Phaios dips her snout into the running stream and flips it up and towards her flanks, dragging a trail of water into those stubborn areas so she can give them a better scrubbing. "It's a good thing I'm brown," she jokes between scoops. "or you could see all the spots I keep missing."
Poppy -
"She ate a little for us the other night, so hopefully she'll get some strength in her. But yes, she will need a close watch." Phai falls quiet as she considers Aria's lethargy, however, and it's several moments before she lifts her voice again. "I don't know. It worries me that she doesn't seem to be recovering, but I know little of sicknesses and remedies. If she isn't well soon, I'd like to find someone who does to see if they can help. Akhenaton may be a good father, but he can't raise three new fawns on his own." She doesn't dare to go further than that; the thought of losing one of her younglings is too much to bear, after all she's dealt with lately.

Not trying to gang up or anythang but sometimes a little punctuation and capitalization could do wonders.
I'm not always nice.
@Pai
I've decided to name this little creature the 'tree spirit'. Sheesh. Every time she's unsure or whatever she goes hide in one.
--
Pressing onwards, heroic image in mind, Pica reaches the rock. She scrambles up eagerly to try out Pai's proposal of bathing under the stream - and is promptly battered with a strong waterfall of water. Her height and frail build allowed the water to efficiently push her off the slippery rock, but not without a fight - which was a frantic scrabble before falling to the side of the ditch. At least it did the job of furiously pounding the mud out of her fur. Ah well.
It was just her belly and legs now, and that was easily fixed by sitting in the ditch of water a wary distance away from the crystone to soften it off and watched Pai in a rather amused manner. It'd take a rather long while for Pai to get all the mud off. With another devilishly clever - or so Pica thought - plan, the fawn stands with a huff to clamber up the ditch to rub at Pai's legs in an attempt to rub off the mud flakes. "Pica busy, can't Pai see? Anyhows."
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

Yes, provided you're willing to put in some more effort :3
Niriya -
You mean she isn't part of the tree?
A careful eye ensures that Pica's not in any danger as she struggles against the current and slips among the rocks; steady legs stay close at hand to catch any tumbleweed fawns who go canoeing down the stream. As the little one clambers over to her, the doe peers down at Pica quizzically. Was she trying to clean Phai's legs? Well, if she wanted to be a helper... "Oh, yes, excuse me, Miss Pica," she says seriously. "I see you're very busy." A pause ensues, during which she angles her head to one side as she watches the fawn at work. "And... what are you busy doing?" she inquires at last.
Yes..? >.
and psssh, tumbleweed fawns canoeing. Who would've thought of it.
--
Hm. Seems like this scratching against Pai's leg was working. Kind of. Some of it was working her way into her thin coat and crumbling there, so dotting Pica with more bits of dried mud - it was nearly enough to make Pica turn into a mud-of-same again, seeing that drying off wasn't worth it. She was just about to jump into the ditch to roll around the steep bank to coat herself in mud again when she was struck with the thought - what about her blueberries? If she turned into a mud-monster then eventually she'd have to dry out to get her blueberries. Oh, the horror, the horror.
Now with a rather determined attitude, Pica rubs vigorously against Pai's legs, unaware of Pai's questioning look. When Pai spoke though, Pica tipped her head up with a grumpy expression; "Don' get Pica questioning again on whatsa 'Miss' because Pica is busy." Checked her work - satisfactory - and went on to the other strong leg, commenting airily as she ambled to the other side of Pai, "Oh, just helping Pai clean off her legs. Y'know?" The fawn tilted her sideways to peer at Pai from her right eye as she began her work on Pai's left leg.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
