Many, many years ago, a pale dragon was born in a different realm. This dragon grew to be a powerful beast, yet she was a friendly and curious sort of dragon. Illrose lived peacefully among humans and other creatures for many years, until she one day returned to the place she had been born, only to find her homeland had been destroyed by humans. With cruel and powerful tools they had either murdered or taken captive the dragons who lived there. Illrose was nearly taken too, but she managed to slip away, as all the gentleness she had felt towards the humans faded, and was replaced by a fiery hatred. She waged war on the humans who had destroyed her birthplace, burned the humans and their terrible weapons, but unfortunately it was already too late; the captive dragons were beyond saving. In the end Illrose found herself alone, in a world of fire, smoke and rage.
Even after she had destroyed the humans who were responsible for the destruction of her homeplace, the hatred burned so strong in Illrose that she kept avenging the fallen dragons by burning down every village she came across. People screaming in terror as their homes were set on fire gave her a cruel satisfaction and only fuelled the fire - quite literally. Even places she had visited before, where she had lived among the humans for periods of time, fell victim to her destructive flames. She spared nothing and no one.
Eventually a group of powerful wizards got together in an attempt to stop the dragon, but these were good wizards and some of them had even known Illrose before she became driven by revenge and they believed there could still be some good in her, so they wanted to give her a second chance at life instead of trying to kill her. By combining their powers the wizards managed to cast a spell on the mighty dragon, to trap the beast into the weaker form of a human, and so they turned Illrose into a pale woman with white hair. This magic did however only last for a little while until the spell began to 'crack', giving Illrose small briefs of time where she could turn back into her true dragon form before being forced back into the weaker human shape. In the end the spell broke completely, but the human form remained a part of Illrose, only now she could change between dragon and human as she wished - without force. The magicians didn't give up though, they got together again, and this time their spell was a much more powerful one; they expelled Illrose from their realm, and trapped her in a different world entirely. The Endless Forest.
And so Illrose arrived in the Forest, far from willingly, a small fawn seething with anger after having been tricked by the magicians, but also confusion over her new cervine form and this place as a whole. At first she went by the name Ghost, feeling just as fleeting as a phantom in the beginning. But the small fawn grew into a large, antlered cow, and Illrose took back her true name as she this time began to wreck havoc within the Forest, taking her anger out on the forest inhabitats as the magicians were well out of reach. Smaller deer were sent fleeing as Illrose chased after them, finding the same cruel satisfaction in this as she had burning down villages... well, perhaps not entirely the same, but close enough. She clashed antlers with those protecting the smaller ones, not caring that she was seen as an annoyance, that she was hated and feared.
But as she remained trapped in this prison the magicians had tossed her into, things began to change. Slowly but surely not all the forest inhabitants were seen as playthings, some became individuals she respected, eventually called friends and family. Illrose engaged in playful spell wars, she swam in the pond, she danced and laughed, and suddenly she was one who has protecting the smaller ones from being hunted down. Finally one day Illrose was able to find a way back to her own world, where she could once again take on her dragon form, spread her wings and feel the wind in her mane as she soared high above the clouds. But the rage that had burned so bright within her had faded over the time spent in the Forest, so Illrose no longer sought to destroy everything in her path, nor did she feel like taking revenge on the magicians who had trapped her in the Forest in the first place. She settled down in a cave in a mountainside above a small village bustling with life, where she still lives to this day. The Forest has become a second home to Illrose, and even though she'll might be gone for some time it seems like she'll always return - sooner or later.
Johari window. Nohari window
When in a battle, Illrose will lower her antlers at her oppontent, both to protect her own body from blows, and to have her tines strike the opponent in the chest or flank. Due to her size she prefer battles where both - or all - opponents run around as little as possible. If her opponent keeps running around, she will give chase until she get tired, or give up. Can gain high speed on short distances. May also rear up to strike her opponent with her hooves, or bring her antlers down on them. Her biggest advantage is also her greatest weakness; her vast size.

AliceV; Illrose continued her
Illrose continued her walk, her eyes locked on the pond that soon came in sight. Her ears flicked at the sound of Jack's voice, and she snorted.
"What are you going to do, then? Make me hate you?" Her voice still had an sharp edge to it, but she only sounded angry and irritated to hide the sadness.
"Probably." She then said, with a suspicious look on her face when she noticed the spark in his eyes.
Celeste;
Wee. <3
"Oh.. hehe don't.. don't
Suddenly he dashed forward, ran into the pond. Water splashed up, when he was jumping and hopping in the flat water near the shore.
He giggled... he looked indeed like a little fawn...
From time to time he glared over towards illrose.
...of course he was planning... or... at leas he had a slight idea of what he might could do... what... might could be fun...
... he could simply force her to be his 'ticket' home... when time was ripe...
"It seemed your little game
she looked at the white fawn, playing in the water. A faint smile formed her lips, it was impossible to stay mad at him when he behaved like that. At least for now. She reached the pond, where
she lowered her head to drink, before she sat down, stretching her aching knee out in front of her, sighing in relief when the cold water eased the pain.
He gliggled, stoped his
"Ah what, what.. did it, yes? he he... probably because i... ah well i can say i am a master of improvisation, yes? ... heave learned that the hard way..." the last words where merely a mumbing to himself.
He looked at her for a while, the he started to grin again.
Quickly he climbed Illrose back, made himself comfortable on it.
"Hey, what, what... god, I _am_ cute, am I, yes?" he giggled completely out of context, while he was looking at his reflection in the whater "wanna adopt me, eh? already got someone else that far the past days... he he he" he put a special accentuation on the 'someone else' part...
Illrose pinned her ears to
"Master of improvisation, or just mad." She teased, before she made a grunt when he climbed onto her back, but she didn't shake him off. She then snorted.
"Adopt you? No thanks, I have enough kids." She then flicked her ears.
"Someone wanted to adopt you? Who?" She asked, grinning. That had to be someone who didn't really know Jack, that's for sure.
He made a grumby noise.
He tilted his head "Oi.. guess... guess she will kill me ...if i tell you... ah okay she.. he he she actually wants to kill me anyways, so she just would kill me twice for that then, yes..? he he"
He put down his head, as if he wanted to sleep, obviously he felt very compfortable on his 'throne'
"Ah a pity, well then I have to find another Mama, yes? Could...could ask jergens... he he..."
"Huh, don't know...everyone?"
"Wait, you don't mean Night?" At least that was the only doe Illrose could think of right now, that she knew had been having her issues with Jack.
"Oh, I guess that wouldn't be to difficult for a cute fawn like you." Illrose smiled teasingly, before she glared at a dragonfly that passed by.
"Yeah, go ask Jergens, he'll probably be thrilled." She mumbled, before she turned her head to look at Jack again.
"He died as well, did you know that? After he killed you."
"he he you're good... was the
He turned on his back, facing the blue sky.
"Oh, did he, yes?" he didn't seem much interested in this.
"But he's kinda back now, eh... saw that bastard around here ... he he..."
It was never the plan to actually kill him. The plan was to to turn jergens into what he despised the most, into himself, into jack.
Ah well.. jergens wasn't interesting anymore. He made him cross the line once, he made him going to far once... a sacond time would just be boring.
... besides... he had another mission now...
escaping. escaping all prisons.
...well maybe he could have a little bit fun with that bastard again beforehand... let's see...
"hehe of course he would be thrilled... he doesn't even know about me, yet, yes? could be funny... hehe an... an innocent..." suddenly his voice changed... sounded indeed like a little child "fa.. fawn lost.. mama... can't.. can't find mama... and no papa" he started to sob, to cry... "yoo, yoo see mama, mister? yoo see papa, mister...? p...please... i... i am afraid... yoo be mama? p...please..." he was still 'crying'...then he suddenly started to laugh again.
"You shouldn't be messing
the fawn was born, but she probably still had to recover from giving birth. She had been in a bad shape then, and Illrose had actually been afraid she would lose another friend that day.
"Yeah, unfortunately he's back." She mumbled. She had been so pissed off when she saw Jergens in the forest again, not many days after she believed she had killed him. She could try to kill him again,
of course, but in the weak state he had been in, he hadn't even seemed worth to kill. She had to laugh when Jack tried to sound like a real fawn.
"Good job. Not sure if Jergens will fall for it, though." She smiled, before she all of a sudden rolled over to the side, to make Jack fall in the water.
"Ah.. don't.. don't worry,
"Oh iI'm pretty sure he w..." he made a surpirsed noise when illrose suddenly rolled over.
With another splash he fell into the water.
"Ach verflucht nochmal..." he cursed...
Illrose snorted. "Hah, I'm
"Hah, I'm pretty sure you deserved it, whatever she did to you." She replied in a dry tone. She had learned that Jack seemed to purposely get in trouble with others, so he could hurt them - or they him.
And she didn't really care, as long as those he got in trouble with wasn't someone she knew. Actually, she would probably be on Jack's side, even if it all was his fault. But Night was a friend, and Illrose
didn't want her to get hurt. She then giggled when Jack fell in the water, saying something on german.
"What did you say?" She asked, smiling innocently, but still also giggling.
"Ah I... just thought about
He shook of the water of his fur... and slowly walked back to the sore
"Yeah, right." She snorted,
Did she made him angry when she rolled him in the water? At least it could seem she had. Illrose didn't bother to stand up, though, she remain lying where she was.
He turned around again, lay
He looked at her, the usual smile in his face. "so, so.... and what now, old lady? Waiting for your wounds to close, yes...?"
the only reason why he was walking out of the water was, that he din't felt like his fluffy fur beeing soaked entirely...
"Call me old lady again and
"But yes. My wounds are actually better, the worst is this stupid knee." She glared down at the leg that was stretched out in front of her. She was able to walk and run, but she couldn't do it
for a long time without the knee beginning to throb again.
The pain in her knee is a
yeah I'm stalking this too<3Yes. Stupid, stupid Illrose.
Stop stalking me. D:Or no, don't. <3"hehe oh, just do it, just do
He cricled around her, as if he was inspecting her wounds. "Ah a pity, a apity hm...? But ...guess... wounds and pain is the price you get for fighting yes..?" he babbled and stopped in front of her again.
"Oh... hmm.. this knee here... yes this hurts, yes?" He raised his foreleg and poked her knee with his small fawn hoof.... a sadistic grin on his face... not hard enough to actually cause damage... but it should at least hurt...
"Pfft, you know as well as I
"Yes, and I'm ready to pay that price anytime." She looked at him when he stopped in front of her, and even though he just poked her lightly, pain shot through her knee. Illrose snarled and jumped
to her feet. She grabbed the skin on Jack's neck, before she lifted him in the air and shook him forcefully, like a predator trying to kill it's prey. But seconds after, she let go again and dropped him.
"Don't do that!"
He lost the ground under his
He fell back into the water again, giggling and laughing ... he slowly got to his hooves again... shook himself liek a wet dog and looked up to her, still this sadistc smile on his lips...
"oh~ why not my love, why not.. can you tell me?" he started to stroke around her legs like a kitten...
Illrose shook her head when
"Because my knee is not going to get better if I let idiots like you poking it." She snorted. She then lowered her head, stroking her skull at the fawn's body, nibbling at the skin on his neck
as if she threatened to bite again.
"Ah hehe, you actually thing
He felt her teeth in his neck... but it seemed it was rather a pleasure for him instead of a treat.
He snapped at her knee again, trying to touch it once more...
... he was bored... that was the only reason for these sardistic little actions...
It should be, if you know
Illrose almost jumped back to stay out of his reach, before she quickly lowered her antlers and pushed them hard into his body, to make him fall over.
"Do you really wanna test my limits, Jack?" She asked, now in a cold tone, and with no hint of playfulness in her eyes.
He screamed slightly whe he
This time he stayed on the ground, grinned up to her. His eyes sparkling again.
"hm hm.. why not... yes...? It##ti's not that i cling to this filthy body... or that I am affraid of pain, yes...? so why not a little testing he...?"
He got up again, facing her... his muscles strained, so he was ready to jump at any time.
"would... would also interesting to see, who would hurt this more, yes...? You or me...?"
he waggled with his tail like a playfull puppy and giggled again
Illrose was tempted to put
"Please don't make me do this, Jack. I don't want to hurt my friend, especially not when you're a fawn." Her tone was emotionless at the moment, while she looked down at Jack.
But it was probably impossible to talk some sense into him. He probably wouldn't listen until he lay in front of her, bruised and bleeding.
"hooo.. please, please..." he
"Is the mighty dreggon begging the fawn, yes... did i hear right...? heheh"
It was obvious this situation was pure amusement to him... to force her to do something she actually didn't want to do... it wasgreatest delight for him... even though he actually didn't have any issues with illrose... ecxept the fact he was still angry she dared to hurt his sister...
"...play with fire, one gets burned for sure, yes..?" his voice suddenly sounded flirty... well.. as much as a fawns voice could sound flirty...
May I RP with Illrose here?
Random post is random.
AliceV; Illrose snarled
Illrose snarled again, and pushed him away with her healthy leg.
"Don't flatter yourself. I'm simply asking, because I really don't wanna hurt you." She tried to remain calm, because she knew Jack really wanted to make her angry. He probably wanted her to attack him.
"Yes, and in this case you are the one who'll get burned." She grimaced at the almost flirty tone in his voice. It sounded to wrong, coming from a fawn. But she had to keep reminding herself - he wasn't really a fawn.
Okami;
Of course you can. :'D Perhaps you would start as well?
Of course ^.^ Sorry for any
The unicorn meandered towards the ruins, twitching his long silken tail from side to side, an almost permanent sly, evil grin on his face. He occasionally stopped to watch a deer or several race by in the distance, hooves pounding the ground in playful racing.
Only a hundred meters or so away from the ruins, he saw a great grey deer with a great red crown of antlers sitting upon the wall he had picked as the goal of his little trek. Continuing his approach, he saw that it was a doe, but no less magnificent for it. He then recognized her, having seen her from a distance several times, either chasing smaller creatures or viciously fighting some foe.
His grin grew wider. He could very well safely say he that was curious of the doe. Perhaps this was an opportunity to converse.
He walked straight towards the queen on her throne, not wanting to surprise her. When he was at an appropriate distance, he bowed politely in greeting.
He got pushed back. Of
But he was still him...
... he simply couldn't stop...
He giggled again.
"Hmm I love to burn, yes..?" he purred... then he jumped forward... an insane grin on his face...
... he tried to kick her knee again, tried to bite her throat. Tried to somehow force her to move.
He did not know why he was doing this... or what he was actually aiming for...
... he never know...
...he was just acting. Just let them free, those feelings inside, anger, rage... hate... not actually aiming on that particular doe in front of him... she... probably just got in 'the way' of this random breakout of feelings... after all he liked her... in a way...
This was also what his sister experiencess regularly.
Okami; Illrose sat on her
Illrose sat on her usual wall at the ruins. Everyone should know by now that this spot belonged to her, and that they should be smart enough to move away when she arrived. Her white, sharp eyes stared blankly
into the distance, while she listened to the sounds of the forest. She could hear many pairs of hooves thundering over the forest floor, as many deer ran around in the distance. But a pair of hooves seemed to come
closer, because the sound grew. Illrose scanned the distance, and soon her eyes fell on the source of the sound. This was a strange deer. She narrowed her eyes as the stranger came closer, before she finally rose
to her feet when the other one walked closer. She answered his greeting with a small bow, and a slight nod, but she didn't jump down from the wall.
"Hello." She said, slightly curious about this stranger.
AliceV;
Illrose shook her head, and quickly stepped back when Jack jumped forward. She tried to keep her wounded knee out of his reach, but at the same time she had a confused look on her face. What should she do?
Fight back and hurt him, or just turn around and walk away from this madness? Of course, the last option was the smartest one to do, but her own pride told her to fight back. Illrose swallowed, before she growled
and lowered her antlers at the fawn. The muscles in her body was tense as she pushed her antlers into the fawn's body again, harder than she had done earlier.
He groaned when the does
He struggled backwards, fell on his site.
He didn't move for a few seconds unti lhe lifted his head again, shook it, a smile on his face.
He looked a bit like one that just recovered from a dream.
"Ah.. that.. that was good, yes... " he giggled, slowly getting back to his hooves... stitching pain from the broken rip...
Illrose almost felt bad when
down at the white fawn when he lay motionless for several seconds. But he then lifted his head, and Illrose stepped back a few steps. She shook her head.
"You're unbelievable." She muttered, ready to lower her antlers again if he didn't stop this nonsense.
He glared towards her, shook
His body seemed completely relaxed now. Slowly he turned his head, licking the blood from the small cut in his side.
"hmm hehehe... Un.. unbelievable, yes...?" his voice was slightly shaking "is... is that good or bad...?" he looked at her again, a relaxed smiel on his face. Seemed he was satisfied for now...
Her eyes fell on the red
"In this case it's bad." She replied, glaring at him with her white eyes. It didn't seem like he was going to attack anymore, though. But one could never know.
He giggled again, slowly
"Well, then it is good, yes" he replied, before sitting down on the ground.
The stinging pain in his site.. it won't last for long.. he knew it... and he wasn't really glad about this. He sighed, and looked at Illrose again.
Illrose remained standing in
"I'm sorry I hurt you." She then said, before she bent over the fawn, and began licking his wound, cleaning it with her tongue.
He growled when she started
"Stop that nonsense, yes?!" He hissed aggressively... before he started to grin again.
"Teh, why are you sorry, eh?" his voice was much calmer than before. "I wanted you to hurt me... I love the pain...yes... so why do you feel sorry? he he..."
Illrose pinned her ears to
"Fine." She replied, and pulled away, raised her head and glanced around quickly, but no one seemed to be visiting the pond right now, except them.
"I'm sorry because I really didn't want to, even if you wanted to." She then said, and looked at Jack. She already knew it was hopeless to try talking
some sense into him, he wouldn't listen anyway.
"Manners and power... Now
He looked directly into her strangely beautiful eyes. "May I ask for your name? I do very much wish to know the name of the fiercest doe in the forest." His voice was laced with sincerity, but it was easy to tell he wasn't exactly sucking up to her.
(Meh, running low on muse today xD)
Illrose narrowed her eyes
But she merely shook her head to get rid of the thought, as a cold smile curled her lips. The smile did never reach her eyes, though.
"My name is Illrose." She spoke, still standing on her spot, so she had to look down at the stag. At least she believed he was a stag, despite his strange appearance.
"And what is your name?" She then asked. She didn't bother to ask if they had met before. It was more likely that he had just spotted her in the distance now and then, while she had been to busy
chasing or fighting to notice him.
"Mm, yes, I am called Akira,
He could sense her slight tension. "I do apologize if I have confused you somehow, I just wanted to converse while the opportunity presented itself. You seemed rather..." The sly grin came back, "busy... every other time I saw you." Even if he had never been able to interact with her before, each of the times he did see her only fueled his desire to do so. She had fought like a true warrior, without reservations or concerns other than her own. This was something the unicorn admired.
His smile remained as he turned his head slightly to the side while still keeping his eyes on her, "I hope I am not being too forward with my curiosity." He framed the sentence more like a question, with an uncertain tone of voice despite his confident face.
Akira. Illrose repeated his
"Yes. I'm sorry I obviously have failed to notice you when you've been around." She was sure she would have remember someone like him, if she had seen him before.
Finally, she jumped down from her wall, and stepped closer to Akira.
"No, not at all." She said, while she streched her neck and sniffed at him for a moment.
I'm sorry if Kheiron was kind
...and how's her knee doing? xD
You deleted so much of her
Mini; Haha, no worries,
Haha, no worries, Illrose was to busy bothering Gustiro to really notice when Kheiron went to see someone else. But it was nice meeting him in-forest again. <3
And I'm sorry she sat down randomly when Gustiro got turned into a bat, I had to go help my mother clip the dog's claws. xD
Her knee is doing fine, she has cooled it down a lot in the pond, so she barely notice any pains now. xD
Chicken;
What, I haven't deleted anything. D: Only moved a part of it over to the update blog. :b
He snickered, glsred up to
"Feeling sorry is one of the most useless feelings that exist... yes..?" he suddenly snapped at her shoulder... he bit not that hard, though... just enough to hurt a tiny bit.
"rgrets... hehe no... no one needs them... things .. things happen... you.. you do bad things... yes...? you can't change it anyways so why feeling sorry for what you did, yes?" his voice sounded strange, like he was talking about something else.. something.. more personal...
He watched the kois in the pond... no smile on his face this time
"Don't be sorry. I was being
He then observed her a moment before venturing a question. "Are you... native to this place?" He couldn't be sure, since she had a similar look to some other residents, but something just nagged at him, saying that she was not, that she knew more than this place.
AliceV; Illrose looked out at
Illrose looked out at the pond while she listened to Jack, and she wsn't at all prepared for the sudden pain when he snapped at her. She growled at him, while anger rose in her white eyes for a moment.
But then it vanished, and she smiled instead, tilting her head curiously. For some reason, it didn't seem he was talking about her and her actions, but rather about someone else...himself, perhaps?
"You are quite right. I'll stop regretting what I do, then." She replied, before she snapped back at him, biting down at his neck for a moment.
Okami;
"Good. Or else I would have made you my new target." She smiled, making it difficult to see if she was just joking or if she was being serious. Illrose then shook her head.
"No, I'm certainly not. Am I right if I guess you aren't either?"
