Many, many years ago, a pale dragon was born in a different realm. This dragon grew to be a powerful beast, yet she was a friendly and curious sort of dragon. Illrose lived peacefully among humans and other creatures for many years, until she one day returned to the place she had been born, only to find her homeland had been destroyed by humans. With cruel and powerful tools they had either murdered or taken captive the dragons who lived there. Illrose was nearly taken too, but she managed to slip away, as all the gentleness she had felt towards the humans faded, and was replaced by a fiery hatred. She waged war on the humans who had destroyed her birthplace, burned the humans and their terrible weapons, but unfortunately it was already too late; the captive dragons were beyond saving. In the end Illrose found herself alone, in a world of fire, smoke and rage.
Even after she had destroyed the humans who were responsible for the destruction of her homeplace, the hatred burned so strong in Illrose that she kept avenging the fallen dragons by burning down every village she came across. People screaming in terror as their homes were set on fire gave her a cruel satisfaction and only fuelled the fire - quite literally. Even places she had visited before, where she had lived among the humans for periods of time, fell victim to her destructive flames. She spared nothing and no one.
Eventually a group of powerful wizards got together in an attempt to stop the dragon, but these were good wizards and some of them had even known Illrose before she became driven by revenge and they believed there could still be some good in her, so they wanted to give her a second chance at life instead of trying to kill her. By combining their powers the wizards managed to cast a spell on the mighty dragon, to trap the beast into the weaker form of a human, and so they turned Illrose into a pale woman with white hair. This magic did however only last for a little while until the spell began to 'crack', giving Illrose small briefs of time where she could turn back into her true dragon form before being forced back into the weaker human shape. In the end the spell broke completely, but the human form remained a part of Illrose, only now she could change between dragon and human as she wished - without force. The magicians didn't give up though, they got together again, and this time their spell was a much more powerful one; they expelled Illrose from their realm, and trapped her in a different world entirely. The Endless Forest.
And so Illrose arrived in the Forest, far from willingly, a small fawn seething with anger after having been tricked by the magicians, but also confusion over her new cervine form and this place as a whole. At first she went by the name Ghost, feeling just as fleeting as a phantom in the beginning. But the small fawn grew into a large, antlered cow, and Illrose took back her true name as she this time began to wreck havoc within the Forest, taking her anger out on the forest inhabitats as the magicians were well out of reach. Smaller deer were sent fleeing as Illrose chased after them, finding the same cruel satisfaction in this as she had burning down villages... well, perhaps not entirely the same, but close enough. She clashed antlers with those protecting the smaller ones, not caring that she was seen as an annoyance, that she was hated and feared.
But as she remained trapped in this prison the magicians had tossed her into, things began to change. Slowly but surely not all the forest inhabitants were seen as playthings, some became individuals she respected, eventually called friends and family. Illrose engaged in playful spell wars, she swam in the pond, she danced and laughed, and suddenly she was one who has protecting the smaller ones from being hunted down. Finally one day Illrose was able to find a way back to her own world, where she could once again take on her dragon form, spread her wings and feel the wind in her mane as she soared high above the clouds. But the rage that had burned so bright within her had faded over the time spent in the Forest, so Illrose no longer sought to destroy everything in her path, nor did she feel like taking revenge on the magicians who had trapped her in the Forest in the first place. She settled down in a cave in a mountainside above a small village bustling with life, where she still lives to this day. The Forest has become a second home to Illrose, and even though she'll might be gone for some time it seems like she'll always return - sooner or later.
Johari window. Nohari window
When in a battle, Illrose will lower her antlers at her oppontent, both to protect her own body from blows, and to have her tines strike the opponent in the chest or flank. Due to her size she prefer battles where both - or all - opponents run around as little as possible. If her opponent keeps running around, she will give chase until she get tired, or give up. Can gain high speed on short distances. May also rear up to strike her opponent with her hooves, or bring her antlers down on them. Her biggest advantage is also her greatest weakness; her vast size.

Her sudden question made him
"I am what he may have become. And I am what he once was." he sighed in contentment.
"I am the frayed cord of his heart."
You know, maybe it's and idea
Well, not that I think it will seriously hurt Illrose if she moves around a bit, but it could work pretty well if you want to use both of the pelts :'D
I just get the feeling you're getting a liking to the zombie pelt. xD
Ginger; She shrugged. "I
She shrugged.
"I have no idea how this works, that's why I ask." She replied at his first sentence, before she listened as he continued talking.
"And I hope you know what to do to keep it this way?" She tilted her head slightly again. It wouldn't be fun anymore if Jergens managed to fight Friend away, and regain control of his own body.
Mini;
Actually, I did that for a while, especially when Illrose had her fights with Gustiro ( wonder where he is, btw o_o ) but I'm playing the beta version now, and as far as I know I'll lose the zombie pelt if I save the grey pelt. >.>
So she'll just be keeping the zombie pelt for a while, in BZD's honor. xD And yes, I like it. :b
Yeah, I'm wondering about
I think I like keeping an eye on everyone. xD
Oh, I didn't know you've already done that xD oh well. It's a bit annoying that sets get lost so easily in this version. That's why I keep the candles on Kheiron a bit longer, too. xD
Sadly I haven't interacted
It's really annoying, I know. -.- But on the other hand, it's many things that are much easier as well, when one has gotten used to that version. :b And I think Kheiron looks good with the candles. :'D
Yeah, I'm not complaining
And I haven't interacted much with Crimsongale either, but I tend to get curious about stuff like that anyway. xD
And you might want to tell me who those deer Illrose didn't like was?
The one with default pelt and
And now she's a bit pissed on Kheiron because he began to play with Dinah. xD
Edit; Oh, and those minis were Buttons and Flail, if you didn't know. Illrose wanted to scare them to run, but didn't succeed. Then she fought Noelle. x)
Haha, yeah I was thinking it
Funny, cause she attacked Kheiron once. Maybe you remember it, you and Gustiro were there as well. :') I'm pretty sure it was the first time you met her.
Kheiron wouldn't remember, though. xD It's a long time ago, and he pretty much just wanted to explore what was wrong with the deer because Illrose didn't like her. Turns out there was nothing seemingly wrong with her, which told Kheiron that Dinah and Illrose have been clustered up in something that had more to do with the setting when it happened rather than her personality :') yup, that was what I concluded with before you told me it was Dinah. xD spot on, eh?
Yeah I was wondering who they were. Kheiron didn't want to get included with it though, so he just sat on the sideline and watched until Illrose was done. :')
Dinah didn't have that set
Yeah, I remember. :'b Actually, Illrose dislikes Dinah more than she dislikes Gustiro. For while Gustiro always stops fighting whenever a fawn or something gets to close,
Dinah always continue to fight even if there is someone between them. xD She even attached Illrose while she lay down once, I think that's the reason she really not like her.
( And that's all IC, I have of course nothing against the player. :'b )
Lol, yeah, you're good. xDD
xD
Don't worry though, Kheiron
And sorry I disappeared yesterday. My network is still to blame.
And I am actually tempted to let Verm, one of the deer mentioned in Sul's biograph, interact with Illrose. I have the feeling it could be interesting to let those two meet.
....though it would be extremely illogical considering he's probably dead and has never even entered this forest in his life :'D xD
I swear I'm gonna drown your blogs some day.
He better not, or Illrose
And I kinda figured. XD *stupid network*
Oh, I think that would have been really interesting, lol. :')
Pfft, my blogs can handle it. <3
If she suddenly considered
Hmm yeah, we could say screw logic and go for it? xD as long as there won't be any "oh I haven't seen you before where are you from"-questions, then maybe it'll turn out interesting :') RP's are all about fun anyway, right?
And it would probably worked
Let's go for it. : D And if it doesn't work out, we can just pretend it never happened, lol. xD
Well yeah, It probably never
A stag. A red deer. Limping, but seemingly not in pain. He had to be though, or else he wouldn't be limping. His eyes showed no signs of emotion, but neither were they cold. More like... distant.
Even if he was hurt, he still held a proud posture and his ears were flickering like a propeller to watch out for any danger.
But then they stopped, both pointing at the same direction. He quickly turned his head to this direction, and was confirmed that his ears had not tricked him this time either.
Another deer. A doe? Yes, it must be.
There seemed to be something off about her though. Something other than her antlers and rather big appearance.
He couldn't quite put his
hooffinger on it, though.I always imagined Illrose as this big, bulky doe. xD don't know if that's right, but I don't think it's wrong to say she's large at least? xD dunno. xD
And maybe I should have a bit of a more dramatic opening, but it's just an introduction so far. You don't know too much about this guy yet anyway :')
lllrose was laying down by
a lot of fights lately. Most of them unnecessary, because she had chased a couple of minis and gotten into trouble because of that. But the one fight had been to protect Night Shade and her
unborn child from an idiotic stag. Slowly she rosed to her feet, water dripping from her fur as she lowered her head and drank from the water. Then, a sound made her lift her head, at the
same time she could feel an unfamiliar scent in the air. Her white eyes scanned the area through the skull sockets, before they stopped on the red stag.
To be honest, until recently I was a bit unsure about her body shape as well, but I have figured out her body looks much like the one of a moose. n_n
And I'm sorry she left Kheiron at one point, she's just trying to keep an eye on the pregnant Night Shade. :')
The doe seemed tired. He
He got closer to her as he approached the pond, so he sent her a slight nod and a friendly smile as to check if she was okay with him being there. He would have given her a bow if he intended to speak to her, but by giving her a nod, it was up to her. He didn't want to seem disrespectful by ignoring her and just claim the pond either.
Awh it's okay, Kheiron was curious about that stare-down between Jack and Jergens, so he kept a little eye on them meanwhile :')
Her eyes followed the
over her lips, behind the skull mask. For a moment, her eyes drew away from the stag, and scanned the surroundings again. But it didn't seem anyone else was nearby at the moment, so
Illrose turned her head back to the red stag.
"Hello." She greeted, and took a few steps closer as she sniffed the air, 'tasting' his scent again.
:b
The water was indeed really
The stag looked at the doe when he heard the "hello" leaving her lips, and he responded immediately with a warm smile.
"Hello. Name is... Ver."
He had hesitated only for a slight second, as if he wasn't sure of what name he should present to her.
He continued;
"I see you are wounded. Do you mind if I ask what happened to you?"
She tilted her head for a
"Illrose." She instead replied, before his question made her glance down at a rather bad wound on her shoulder, made by Noelle. She sighed, and smiled again, a rather emotionless smile.
"Just some disagreement between me and some other. Nothing to talk about." She shrugged, and looked down at his wounded leg.
"And what happened to you?"
He noticed that she tilted
"The same as you", he replied, without neither smiling or frowning; still that distant look on his face.
"If someone of a lower rank than yourself opposes you, you have to remind them where they belong."
He looked at her, reminding himself that he was talking to a stranger. "Do you disagree?"
Sorry for late reply. About his appearance, he's pretty much a plain red deer stag. Haven't thought too much about his specific appearance, but I guess it's not important here anyway. xD
Illrose gave a nod when he
"No, I do not disagree at all. You are quite right." She was much more curious about this stranger now, and stepped even closer.
"So I guess that's what you had to do when your leg got hurt? Put someone in their right place?" She snickered for a moment, before she shook her large antlers, and the smile was gone.
Lol, okay. :'D
He was a bit unsure what that
His lips still tightened a bit, though.
"Yes, you are quite right, Illrose. Some deer easily forget things like that, and I prefer to look at it as pushing them in the right direction."
He examined her for a bit before raising an eyebrow; "It seems the subject caught your interest, my dear. Hm. Why?"
Illrose shrugged. "It's just
"It's just a subject I'm very familiar with...giving others a push in the right direction is something I have to to all the time." She replied. Those who feared her, or tried
to fight her - those was the one she considered the 'lower rank', those who had to be put in their right place. After all, who was on the top of the food chain, the dragon
or the deer?
"I am glad you seem to agree.
His respect for this stranger grew, but he was still wary. It could just as easily be torn away if the right buttons were pushed.
"I do it as a favor. Not because I enjoy it."
He paused.
"Fighting."
Illrose had to admit she had
again, she laughed softly, but it was a laugh completely without joy. Cold and dry.
"I do it both as a favor, and because I enjoy it. Actually, I do it mostly because I enjoy it."
I like your new siggie, and
He got silent when hearing this, his lips tightening even more. Peered at her for a moment.
There was surely something not quite right about this doe, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing yet.
"Perhaps I was wrong, then."
He got up and took a few steps away from her. Lowered his head.
"Your reputation cannot be something to be proud of if that is your attitude."
Me too, firedance did an
By the stag's reaction, he didn't seem to like her answer. She laughed silently inside when he moved away from her, perhaps worried she would try to fight him? No, she didn't
do that, she didn't fight random strangers...usually.
"Wrong about what? Me having my instincts in right place?" She asked in the same tone as always, apparently not caring about how he seemed to analyze her behavior.
"Whether my reputation is something to be proud of or not depend on the eyes that see, doesn't it? It is indeed something to be proud of among those who enjoys a good fight."
He snorted, raised his neck
"Wanting to fight is the manners of a predator, not of a deer."
The tone in his voice was cold and haughty. His ears pointed slightly backwards, and his nostrils had widened. He didn't let his eyes off of her for even a moment.
A smile crept across her face
"You are quite right." She snickered, and stepped closer, ignoring how the movements made the wounds sting.
"But after all, I am a predator, not a deer." She added, and her smile had gotten a dangerous edge to it. Perhaps she could make him flee, like those frightened little mini deer she enjoyed to chase.
(Hmm hmm, I think I realized
When she stepped closer, he didn't even hesitate to quickly jump forward and stomp right before her.
His breath got heavier.
"A predator, you say?"
Deep exhale.
"But I see a deer, not a predator."
Really? Cool. x'D Illrose
Illrose stopped abruptly when the stag jumped forward. Her first thought was to lower her antlers and let them take the hit if the stag was going to attack, but he didn't and she remained
standing in front of him. She snorted, an glared at him with piercing white eyes through the skull.
"Yes, sadly some rather powerful magic put me here - as a deer." She shook her antlers, looked around for a moment before her eyes fell on the red stag again.
"But in my mind, heart and soul I'm still the predator I once was." And once again will be, when I get out of here. She still hoped that with help of Cadaver, her friend and fellow dragon,
she would find a way out of the Forest.
His eyes widened just
"Really?"
He got silent for a moment, not quite knowing what to say.
He continued;
"Then I am sorry. You do realize, however, that you should not underestimate your current avatar? You might have been something else in your past, but that is not who you are in your present. If your state of mind is greater than your physic appearance, then that could end up horribly wrong."
The changing in his behavior
But instead, she remained calm, and nodded slowly.
"I do know that my physic appearance isn't what it used to be. Sadly. It's quite a shocking difference, you know."

He fell back for a moment.
"Then act like it! You just said a moment ago that you are a predator! Look down! In the water!"
He closed his eyes and tilted his head another way. Waited for a moment to let his words sink into her, and for himself to calm down. Took a few breaths, continued;
"There is a difference between knowing a fact and truly believing it, and right now those two are contradicting themselves in you. Do not deny it, because you know I am right. You just have to find a way to see it. On your own."
Bamboo; He is? >.> Lol, okay.
He is? >.>
Lol, okay. x)
Mini;
Illrose flinched for a moment in surprise when he snapped at her. Then her jaws tightened in anger, and a faint growling sound could be heard from her throat.
"Do not come here and lecture me of something I'm already aware of!" She snapped back. And what made her even more irritated - the fact that he was right.
But of course, she would never admit that.
"You keep telling me that you
His body had gotten tense by now, and the fur on his back was strutting. His weight leant heavily on his front legs, and it looked as if he was almost tipping against her.
He was more or less waiting for her to take the first blow.
I know it might seems like he can't decide on how to react, but he already got annoyed when she told him she fight for the fun of it. When she told him that she isn't originally a deer, he would of course apologize for making accusations without knowing the whole story. He is humble like that. Still, she had already gotten him annoyed, and that is why he quickly changed back to being angry when she didn't want to admit that he was right. He found her way of talking back to him disrespectful.
...and I just wanted to clear that up because I feel it might looks like I'm exaggerating his behaviour. xD
Track C;
Her jaws tightened even more,
wouldn't allow it. So she leaped forward, before leaning all her weight on the hind legs as she reared up, her front hooves trying to strike at the stag's head.
Lol, that's alright. xD
Edit; Thanks for the track, Puffy. <3
He quickly turned his head to
So this is what it got to, eh? Fighting an already wounded doe wasn't something he'd usually do as he considered it a coward's attack, but he would do his best to block every hit she delivered.
He quickly pushed her legs aside and forced through with brute strength to get as close to her as possible. He could feel her breath touch his ears, and she must have felt the same. When he was this close to her, it wouldn't be possible for her to give him a good blow.
He made sure to lay his weigh on his hind legs so she couldn't make him loose his balance either.
Trying to brake of the fight? Not exactly. More like trying to exhaust her.
HE SHALL Just has to... find
Just has to...
find ya...
first...
hm....
-sniffsniff-
Mini; Illrose snarled when
Illrose snarled when she felt how her legs was pushed aside, missing their target as he came closer. She was forced to step back on her hind legs before her front legs could touch
the ground again, to avoid the stag's antlers. She glared at him for a moment, before she charged again. Again she reared up on her hind legs, but as she came down again she twisted
her body and lowered her antlers to hit him with all her body weight. The wounds felt like they were all ripped apart again, but she ignored it, at least for now.
Bamboo;
Lol, I don't think he found her. At least I didn't see him. xD
He groaned as he felt the tip
She was stronger than he first thought. And despite the fact that she was wounded, she obviously didn't hold back.
For a second he considered if it was best to surrender, seeing as his leg was getting numb and because of the fact that his opponent was wounded, too, though he realized quick enough that she would attack him again if he didn't do anything. And besides - he didn't want to look like a coward in front of her.
He leaped full speed forward, clashing his antlers against hers before rearing up and accidentally ripping the wound on her shoulder with his hoof.
His front legs was back on the ground again, and he stood still for a moment to see her reaction before he decided what to do next. His expression was a weird mix of mistrust and worry.
