I just wanted to ask about how things work on here. I hear about "mates" and Abiogenesis? Would someone care to explain them to me? How to find/how these things work in EF? ^_^;;
Sorry if it's a silly question, but atleast I'm asking and not going in acting like I know what I'm doing.
Thank you!
No, these are not silly
'Mates' in the Forest are considered as wives and husbands on the Forest. They're often found and made through characters that have known eachother for awhile and form a bond like a husband and wife would in real life.
An Abio is a time where the creaters of TEF come into the Forest as Gods and throw a party so to speak. It is quite amazing and rare, I have yet to expeirence one myself. ^^'
Do not hesitate to ask any other questions! c:
A "mate" in TEF is basically
Abiogenesis is when the two creators of the game cause amazing things to happen, like weather changes, rocks falling, fire, etc.
EDIT: And I got ninja'd. XD;
Omg thats awesome! I can't
Another question:
About mates, so it's all just roleplay and nothing thats possible through the actual game?
Annnnd...
X.x; I've made friends, but I always lose track of them. :[ I know theres icons onscreen to see where all the deer are, but how should I go about with making friends >_>;? (opinionated question, but that's okay.)
I'm only asking because everyone here already seems close and I know I can't just expect deer/people to just accept me on in.

It also helps to learn the individual glyphs of the pictograms, so that you can see four individual shapes and pieces instead of one messy lump. You can learn more about glyphs here and here.

On the contrary! Unless it looks like there's something super serious going on (an obvious fight, for example), don't be afraid to approach folks and give a bow, join a dance, or sit down. Most won't mind if you bowed first -- especially if your character is still a fawn.
If they do mind, most players and characters are at least nice enough to give a head shake instead of stamping/running someone off, as long as you've asked to join first (a bow, ground scratch, and a head tilt is usually sufficient for a "May I sit here?").
You're welcome to approach any of my characters at any time.
Thank you! I'm just mostly

Haha, I know the feeling. As
As much as people complain about cliques and feeling like they can't approach, though, it's not usually difficult to make friends if you just suck it up and walk over to someone.
