The tiny white stag does not speak, nor has he ever.
At the word 'dance' his human face lights up, lips parting to begin a lovely trilling waltz in the form of bird call
Welcome ( : I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, I look forward to learning more about you
"Hmhm. A song to dance to." A hoof swiveled and pointed to the right and was delicately placed in front of the other, like a ballerinas' foot as it would start to dance.
"Hmhm. A dancer never faulters when its feet wish to lead." A quick change in placement of hooves sent the legs to the left, head and neck lowering as in half-bow but then returning upright to await the next step.
GingerTail:
"Hello, Brynne. And a dance with another sounds wonderful. Yes, I will lead." A hoof moved in a large circle, leaving two trails of parted soil in it's wake.
"Wonderful! Meeting new deer is such a pleasant occurence...Perhaps we may meet again after today. Only time will tell."
A gentle rustling sounds as hooves move gracefully through the grass, head dipping low, serenely mirroring your movements.
"Such lovely movements. I am honored to dance with someone such as yourself."
Hooves moved lithely across the ground in fluid motions, softly shifting the rich soil below.
The buck cooed in the back of his throat, clearly a deer of sounds rather than words. He watched the other's hooves with fascination, admiration. He half bowed in return and placed one delicate grey hoof in front of its twin, holding his head high with a gentle nod and he proceded to shuffle his feet in a somewhat graceful turn.
"I'm no solo dancer, hmhm." He stopped dancing, tilted his masked head. "Care to lead?"
A warm pensive gaze examined the shifting of hooves, all the
while doing it's own graceful steps. At the pause from the partner, the hooves
ceased for a moment for a few words to be spoken. "I shall. But only if
you follow. Hmhm~" A little mild humor came with a quaint smile. The legs began to
move once more, but with the other's following in tow as they would dance in unison.
He watched without watching, or was he really without eyes?
Anyway. He tried to follow its movements, unsure at first,
then collecting himself and mimicking the other in a mirror's perfection.
He smiled as its partner did. So he could see.
He would continue to dance with it as long as it danced, seemingly tireless.
