Help With Digital Art?

So, I am about to ask a question that is extremely common in beginners like myself..... Can I have some help/tips to make my art better?

Okay so first off I can't really tell if I ama beginner still... I mean it's been about a year.. I started doing digital art at the beginning of 2015 with a simple computer mouse and on Christmas I got a wacom intuos tablet. Still even though the tablet made it 10000 times easier, I still can't create anything decent and my lines always come out wonky, my anatomy sucks, and let's just say it doesn't come out at all how I imagined it.

I use fire alpaca (latest version) and I love it, but there are features and things I don't know about that can help me out. First off when everyone (including myself) starts out witha rough sketch using a light color, than somehow magically makes it fade (I know how to use layers) and than adds a layer and traces it... I just sit there and stare and say "WTF, HOW DO YE DO DIS, SHOW ME LE WAYS" I watcha lot of speed draws, and tutorials, and actually I started doing some tutorials today and my art seemed to jump a level (it helped a lot) but the thing is, I still don't now some of the very basic things... I would really like to get help with the anatomy of deers/wolves and some basic shading and stuff so I can create a character that won't look like a lump of crap with decapitated deer limbs sticking out of it with a few hints of glitter... an what is that? Ah yes paint.

Can any of the experienced artists (or anyone really with some experience) help me out? Thanks!

If you're using FireAlpaca,

If you're using FireAlpaca, something that can definitely help you out a lot with smoother lineart is this;

It's on the same toolbar as the snapgrid and anti-antialising check thing, right under the help tab at the top. It basically smooths out your lines and helps avoid a stuttery or jittery appearance to them. I generally set it low when I'm sketching something and then set it high whenever I'm going over it with lineart.

Making layers "fade" is just lowering the opacity.

And then you just add a new layer with 100% opacity to do lineart over the sketch layer that you just dimmed. <:

Honestly, tutorials ended up helping me a lot, as you've experienced; you can find a ton on deviantArt, although a lot of them are dealing with programs like SAI.

Not really sure how to help out with the anatomy thing. Looking at a lot of references of anatomy such as skeletons/muscles is super helpful; I know it may seem like learning about skeleton and muscle systems of creatures is redundant, since every wolf/deer you've ever seen is covered in fur, but it'll help out lots with being able to make dynamic poses and just having a better grasp on their anatomy as a whole. Tedious, but helpful in the long run.
