Having trouble with the game. Helpplz?

Okay I'm starting to have a recent problem playing TEF. I usually play it windowed, so when I open it I wait for it to load, I'm often looking at another window until the game loads and what not.
But recently, I've been going back to the game window to see my deer just running like a bat out of hell until I stop him. Apparently, as soon as the game loads, it automatically makes the deer stand up and start running without any direction from me. Sometimes it's a minute or two before I check back with the game, so I've had a deer running in a straight line for that long. Lame.

Any ideas on this?

Not that I know anyways. Sometimes my deer go nuts and spin
in circles and no emote or control can stop thier spinning so I have to crash it >>'

(maybe your deer is scared of the mystical portal randomly opening into their world

Okay good I thought I was the only one with this problem. C:
Ephra, that does help because I always have to maximize the window next. I'll try to change around my settings.

There's also this glitch where if my fps is particularily slow, one hop will send my deer into a hop-in-place session and I can't usually get out of it.
