My door used to open of it's own accord, even after I was sure I shut it.But it stopped happening a while ago =3
I also used to see people out of the side of my eye, but not normal people.Sometimes they were still there when I turned around oAo

"The cruelest prison is one we make for ourselves out of fear and regret."
One night, i think last year or something, around eleven or so, I left my room to go downstairs.
I could a swore that I heard humming. A woman humming xD. My brother's tv was off and his door was open. He was gone, and my tv was set down to practically mute as it usually is. My mom was outside washing the car.
I walked down the first few steps on the stairs and I stopped and heard flipping humming. The air conditioner couldn't have made the noise because it too was also off.
dfhdfjdhgd Right when I stopped to get a better shot at listening, the humming stopped as well.
I was at the masonic temple downtown walking through the third floor to get to the OES locker. I didn't remember where the light switch was so I was walking down with my arm stretched out to feel along the wall. About halfway down the lights flicked on. I kept walking, got into the locker and everything and left it on when I walked back.
Went to leave and the door I opened was shut and locked how i left it from both sides.
I was the only person in the building with the keys to that floor.
Guard said he didn't see anyone else go up there when I left the building but thanked me for turning off the hall light when I left.
I didn't.
I left it on when I left the floor and locked up.
I was in the elevator when it apparently went off.
and shit like this happens all the time there. :/
That's 1/3 personal experiences i've had with that creepy building.
We used to have a cat, Sooty. She always wore a red collar, and of course with a small bell that made a nice sound when she ran anywhere.
A few weeks before this started happening, Sooty had been put down due to an awfull illness.
However, I kept hearing her bell rattle all the time. There were no other cats or creatures outside with a collar like hers; everyone knew Sooty and loved her for that little bell.
No one else heard it except from me, or at least that's what everyone else said when I asked.
Sometimes it would sound as if she was near me, on my bed. Or maybe upstairs. :/
Hah, also my brother in laws mum has a photo of a close relative who got married maybe 50 years ago? It wasa black and white photo outiside this church, with a graveyard of course.
The married couple were stood holding hands in front of the big church doors, but behind them you can see a hand holding onto the church door handle.
The photo hadn't been edited, and it was very clear no one in the photo is stood behind them! It's a mystery lol.
I love reading these. The ones above are interesting too.. (8
We have a few problems here in my dads appartment. DX
Sometimes we hear someone draging ther feet on the floor, heavy breathing and knocking on our bedroom doors during night.
This doesn't bother us that much, but when you see someone on the balcony when you know that you're home alone, that's were it starting to creep me out.
I have a mirror on my bedroomwall, this started shaking while I was in my room and it didn't stop when I grabbed it. >___>
Dad got his computer in his bedroom, while sitting in there you can see a bit of the livingroom and a bit of the hallway, sometimes there's a shadow passing by between these locations in a very slow paste.
And this activity must've followed us from the other appartment. DX
There something woke me up by roughly tapping my shoulder, when I woke up, my closet opened by itself.
It couln't have been someone in the family, because my door was closed and my bed stod 3 meters away.
I have to admit that these things scare me, I do believe in spirits and such, but I don't like when things like these happens to me. :C

Roughly two years ago I moved into my current house. Mid January, I think it was. With no heating upstairs, it was far too cold to sleep anywhere but the living room. So this is where my brothers and I slept for at least a month. I remember one particular night...I was staring at the ceiling, taking note of a cobweb in the corner. From directly above me, I heard a thump. I snapped to attention, disbelieving what I'd heard for two reasons: Both cats were asleep at my feet, and the room above my was my own bedroom...
I distinctly remember straining my ears, closing my eyes. It didn't sound again. Not for another hour. I remember, oh so well, the anticipation. But that bout was nowhere- NO where- near as bad as the second-
When it came down the stairs.
It sounded like boots. The thick-soled hunting sort people around here tend to wear. Each 'thmp' made my head spin, each pause made my breath catch. When it reached the door at the end of the stairs, I closed my eyes tight as possible, willing myself to fall asleep.
Paused. Metallic click. Door glided open and I heard it bounce lightly off the wall.
And it continued.
Into the living room.
And, again, paused.
It just stood there. For several minutes. It took about half that time for me to regain some courage and open my eyes. Nothing, nothing at all stood in the doorway. But as I watched, eyes wide and strained against the darkness...
It stomped around the foot of the couch my youngest brother rested on. He shivered horribly and rolled over. It slowed. And moved towards my other sibling decidedly.
He snapped upwards, panting and yammering in his sleep, head darting back and forth as if looking for something.
That was quite enough. I stood and rushed to him. Ice cold, he was. Never mind he was the closest to the heater.
The next morning, we discussed.
Mid way through our conversation, my youngest brother walked in, wrapped in several blankets and nearly sleep walking. He asked who had poured ice water on his leg last night. we just stared.

Let it be said, we never heard stomping again.
1) The only dreams i ever remember are of ordinary events which at some point in the future happen.
2) Whenever I go outside, and there is sun, my skin, turns extremely white, and if its cold it begins going slightly blue (i'm guessing veins?)
3) There is an abandoned house near where i live, and whenever i walk past it I feel eyes on me.
4) I have this unnatural sense that tells me when someone is nearing me, no matter what I'm doing, even if i cannot hear, see, or smell them, and I know whether or not, they are going to be nice to me.
the last one is damn scary sometimes. someone was about to put snow down my back, when i was walking home with my ipod up full, i wasn't even looking in there direction, i couldn't hear them due to the music, but i managed to sense it, and stopped them.
This happened a few days after my great grandmother passed away. I woke up at like 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, this isn't common for me. It's still dark. But I sit up in bed, look to the side of the bed and there's a woman wearing a long night gown. I thought it was my sister at first, but this spirit was kind of...I dunno, see through, silvery looking. Hard to explain. I freak out, scream, and she turns away and just sorta' fades. I told my family about it, and turns out, my great grandmother always wore night gowns. I guess she was just saying goodbye, but I still get shivers when I think about it.
Once when I was reading a book in my parents' bedroom on their bed I heard a voice. It was summer, so our window was open to the garden and the bedroom's door was open too so the air could wander freely.
I was competely consentrating in the book when I heard someone whispering my name. I finished the sentence and then got up, and walked out of the bedroom. There was no one there. Maybe the sound came through the window? But no one was outside either.
It was creepy. I heard clearly someone whispering my name but no one was around to whisper it. I heard it only once. I have wondered what would have happened if I hadn't moved but asked what the voice wanted...

If you can't confuse people with your intelligence, amaze them with your bull****.
oh boy I like experiences that are unexplainable :>
The house I lived in never felt right. I remember trying to fall asleep but having a hard time because I was watching my door open and shut slowly. Occasionally I'd see the silhouette of a little girl in my window, my room was on the second floor so it couldn't have been anyone standing outside my window which is decidedly creepier. I was scared the first time I saw the girl but after that her presence was almost a comfort and she began to move from my window to the foot of my bed, always a little black silhouette.
There was something else in that house. My mother used to rinse the dye from her hair in the sink in the basement. One night she was pushed so hard she lost her breathe for a second. My sister's room was in the basement so my mom, thinking it was my sister, turned around to yell at her. There wasn't anyone there. That thing also use to touch and caress and tug on hair and not in a good way. It happened to me a lot and happened to two of my friends who didn't know each other (so it wasn't as if they collaborated to scare me). Another time I was baby sitting my little brother and from the other side of the house I heard a faint mechanical sound. So I broke the first cardinal rule of horror films and went to go investigate. I followed the noise to my brother's toy box. The sound was his toy weed-whacker and it was turned on and running. No big deal, something must have pushed the button etc. etc. but this toy needed two buttons pushed simultaneously while one continued to be held down to make this thing work. So I do what any rational person would do in that situation. I beat the toy against the floor until it shut off and as it stopped I saw a black opaque mass fly around the room a couple of times and then vanish.
First of all, let it be put on the record that I don't believe in good spirits. Or even chaotic good spirits. I believe in angels (as messengers and soldiers of a greater being), demons, in a heaven and a hell, and no spiritual activity I've ever encountered has ever convinced me otherwise :|
When I was little, I saw an angel land in my mother's friend's back yard and take off again almost immediately.
I can walk into a room and tell if there is a demon living in it. I was recently staying in an older couple's home and was attacked while I was half-asleep by a spirit of anger that the husband had been holding onto for many years. It basically held me down and squeezed for about ten seconds - I couldn't move, I couldn't cry out. When it finally let go, I turned my lamp on, and it was on only a few moments before the demon started screwing with it, trying to turn it off. This was the worst experience I had ever had.
I used to have much milder ones when I was little. A friend of mine told me she had seen a ghost in a ditch across the neighborhood, so I went with her to go look. She'd said she had seen a ghost girl walking down the bank, half-visible. When I got near the area she'd seen the ghost, I could feel - rather than see - several great, black things scuttling around in the overgrowth. They didn't attack or even seem to notice us, but I wasn't taking any chances. I grabbed my friend's arm and told her to run. I've never explained why.
Things would show up in the corner of my eye when I was little. Now that I'm older, I can sense demonic presences (I HATE places like historic Savannah Georgia, Charleston South Carolina, and the French Quarter of New Orleans, because there is SERIOUS intense spiritual activity there) although I don't see too many angels anymore (mostly I suppose because they don't intend harm to me or any other humans). I can feel spiritual residue from things that happened in the past, and I can tell if a person is involved with demonic activity.
There's a little bit of precognitive function in there too, but not nearly enough to rely on or play the lottery with xD
When i first moved here.. I got out of bed because i heard something... Have you ever crumbled an old leaf? thats what i heard... so... i got out of bed and went into the living room.. the noise stopped and my pantry door was wide open... and i had shut it just before i went to bed....
well... one time i had the scariest thing happen to me! i could have sworn it was real! i am even scared to type it! l3.... I got out of bed because i heard a scratching noise! and i went into the living room and it stopped... i went and called for my cat but i forgot she was at the vet. So i looked under the coffee table and something popped out at me... scary eh? ;3!!!
