Like a butterfly ~ a poem ~ and creepy doodle

I felt I should share a poem I wrote lady year, during my senior year of High-School.
Hope everyone like it. c:

Like a butterfly ~

Like a caterpillar, when I was a child,
the world around me was huge and wild.
Eating up knowledge along my path,
learning about history, sciences and math.
I grew fat with all I knew,
eager to try something completely new.

Like a pupa, when I was a young teen,
I was hard and I was mean.
Hiding inside my self-made shell,
waiting and waiting for the school bell.
Yet soon I felt it was time to break free,
and show off the brand new me.

Like a butterfly, as a young woman,
attempting to start my own creative trend and not ruin.
Fluttering through life faster and faster,
only imaging what I can master.
My marks might be small that I leave behind,
but I know that those marks will always be mine.

Being here, ghost-like

Sheika had been in the forest for more than four years.
Silently watching over the ghosts of her loved ones. Being too shy to talk or even to whisper.
Seeing newborn, playful fawns. Old, weary deers. Strangers coming and going.

As time passes, memories fade away.
New, unknown names, lights, appear in front of her.

Like a ghost, she was constantly watching over... something. She could not grasp it.
The miracle that is 'life' and 'death'.

She wants to live. Live to the fullest. Roam the playgrounds of her early life.
Listen to the new voices, accompany unknown souls once more. Not being a ghost, a phantom of the old-growth forest anymore.

Hi, I'm new here! I've developed a huge interest in deer the past few months so I was really excited when I found this! Everyone here seems so nice and I've enjoyed the game so far. I can't wait to maybe draw some art and roleplay or just mingle. All the art here that I've seen is gorgeous and this just seems like a really lovely community!

I once did see a doe so fair
With slender legs and golden hair
And simple mask from under where
A gentle smile did shimmer
Her moves were light and quick and clean
A deer so swift had never been
But still, a hint of darkness seen-
Blank eyes that held no glimmer

She seemed at peace and quite at home
Though often very much alone
Ever wandering, she would roam
'Round maple, oak and spruce
The symbol gold that held her name
Seemed innocent, a simple claim
But if one were to look again
They'd see the hangman's noose...
