Is it possible to get the black pelt or the skeleton pelt by casting a spell on the big deers, or can you only get the zombie set from the BZD?

Please, if you already have the full set, don't hug the BZD or lay all around him. Those of us who don't have it can't even get a spell on him because of the huge circle.
