Origins chapter 8

<=To chapter 7 * To chapter 9=>

Author's Notes: x_x Uh, yea. I keep staying up late typing these. Forgive any typos you find, but do point them out. XD; Anyway, we've finally reached the end of...something. You'll find out when you read. XD; And yes, I basically reworded a forum post I made some months ago for more than half of this. =P It was perfect for this chapter, but I improved it. X]
Alright, enough insane 4:30am ramblings from me. Onto

Origins
Chapter 8
~*~
He’d finally done it.

Scape had mastered water-walking.

Without having to worry about losing his set, the fawn had no concern over falling in the pond. He had fallen, too. Multiple times. But it had been worth it once he’d finally timed the walking right.

Another fawn had mastered it at the same time as him, too, it seemed.

He’d found that same young stag later in the day, and together they had a fun time of merging with the pillars and rocks at the Playground. They’d even formed a multiple-headed rock when another fawn and the same stag that Scape knew – Sluggs – came along.

The fawn was called Seed. Even after their second meeting, the fawns were friends already.

As the days went on, the colors continued to fall from the sky, brightening all whose moods were down.

Scape now considered Seed his best friend. Whenever they were both awake in the Forest at the same time, antics would ensue.

Despite the lack of spells being able to stick to him anymore, the young deer had a great fawn-hood, and even managed to learn some of the latest tricks that were discovered, such as air-sitting.

But nothing beat hiding in a tree.

Scape would do this as often as he could, since he knew he would have trouble finding trees big enough once he grew up. It was one of the things he’d miss about being a fawn.

Hanging Flowers - Chapter 22

My tears have joined the rain, for his heart stopped beating today...

Skokey found himself in a peaceful meadow. Butterflies flew around him in every color, and birds chirped delightfully from the far-off trees. He stood up, and looked around. Everything was so bright to him, he had to squint for a bit. He found himself confused, wandering around the meadow, and saw two forms not too far away.

His eyes adjusted to the bright lights, and saw two large deer. One was red and dappled, the other was light and golden. Both had a gentle look in their eyes, making Skokey feel completely safe.

"E-excuse me..." He stuttered, "Where am I?"

The two deer smiled, and the red one stepped forward. "Nowhere special, Butterfly."

My tears have joined the rain, for his heart stopped beating today...

Skokey's ears pricked, "What was..."

"I believe that's what you say, when someone dies?" The light deer answered before he could finish.

Dies? Was he dead? Was this the afterlife? And where those...

"Not to worry, Butterfly," the red one continued, "You are safe."

Skokey stammered, and looked around to find other deer. Most of them were unfamiliar. But he saw an older stag, standing next to what looked like his parents. "D..Dad?" he looked around again and found a familiar doe. "Mother?..." He became frantic, "Where am I?"

"Like he said, Butterfly, you are safe." The light one replied. "But you cannot stay here. There's somebody down there who needs you. You can't leave her yet." She smiled warmly, causing the red one to smile as well.

My tears have joined the rain, for his heart stopped beating today...

The meadow seemed to darken and fade. Visions of his mother and father vanished, leaving the two deer standing before him. But soon, they began to fade as well.

The red deer spoke up one final time, "Oh, and I hope your sister likes her feathers. It was the best thing we could think of."

Love.

Written at 1:30 in the morning, oi. If this makes no sense, I'm sorry.
Red = Aeros
Orange = Pan
Green = Loop
Blue = Tuna

Ah, love. Something reserved for only the young at heart. I am not strong, as I one was, nor am I as attracted to the beautiful does that haunt this Forest. It brings me pride to watch the young grow and blossom. But, I believe that I am too old for this thing called Love. No one will have me, anyways.

HAHAHA. What a laugh. Love? As if. Love's for weaklings - it's a bad joke. Single is power! -cackles-

...Sorry about that. o.0

Hmm...I dunno. I've been alone for so long, it's kind of alien to FEEL loved for me. I understand relationships a lot better then other people, though. But to have someone...I guess it would be one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. ^^

Where do I start!? I was careless back then, but I think I've got it down now...love is great! It'd sure be nice to have someone, I guess, but it's okay when you've got enough to go around. XD

My deers' take on love. XD Silken and Trance not included.

Joker's Daughter - A Pandemonium Poem

I am strange.
But why do you care?
I have all I need
without you standing there.

I've been called crazy
and I do need the laughs.
I've been labeled a freak
in this play that's been cast.

I do like these games
in which I'm the wild card.
Lock me up, if you wish,
but I'll hit you quite hard.

You see that I've had you
in my clutch all the while.
But why be so serious?
It's time for a smile!

----
Man, I cranked these out at my aunt's! I had limited computer access, lol. Just a little something for myself.

Princess - a poem for Aspen

OH LOLOL. I had to.
-----
I see my own reflection, and I think I'm rather odd,
but who am I to say that I'm unique?
I've seen madmen, ghouls, and dancers, and I think I'll start with this-
Princess is what I am, not a freak!

Now you've come to the conclusion that I 've not got a lot to say -
and maybe for a time, you were quite right.
But I've pulled myself together, and I'm sure that you can see,
I'm shouting to the heavens, "I'M ALRIGHT!"

And I've reached out to these strangers, come to lend a helping hand...
some took it, some rejected my good grace.
Now, I'm very proud to say that I've accepted my own self,
with help from those who've slowly gone to waste!

-----

I imagined this in a very singsong voice, actually. Kind of funny too. XD There you go, Sarie!

Umm...

It says I'm in the forest, but my ping's in the 800's, so...am I actually in the forest, in any way, shape, or form?

*wishes it was dawn in the forest, because she wants to hide in the birch forest grasses, but they look boring by day*

Totally Sane - Part 4

Her bounced around Quad, cackling evilly. "Can't tag me, mate!" The two-colored stag chuckled softly, his eyes upon her, his back against a pillar on the side of the Ruins. "I won't bother trying." He paused and sniffed the air. "But...I smell somebody coming who can."

Before the chocolate doe could react, the blur that was Pandemonium sent her tumbling to the ground. "Oi, you again?!", Her grunted. She disentangled her neck and stared into the eyeholes on Pan's mask. "Honestly, I think Tuna's gonna have to come out of hiding one day to rescue the rest of us from you!" She smiled good-naturedly. Pan grinned back. "What would you lumps do without me, eh? Sit around on your butts all day, collecting dust?" Scrambling upright, she crashed into the wall of the Ruins. "Finally found you guys, anyways. I wanted to ask Her something. Morning, Quaddypants."

"Got another crazy business scheme?"

"Course not. It's Thursday. I-"

A tremendous roar cut her off mid-sentence. The wiry doe glanced around, while Quad and Her exchanged looks. A huge doe, her body decaying and a skull atop her head, was bashing against the bars of the Cage. Ammy and Taiko were off some distance in front of her, chatting and ignoring her furious attempts to escape. Pan's expression changed to one of interest. She'd heard of the fabled Hunter, but had never seen her in person. Slowly, she stepped towards the cage. "Hun? You feeling a little off?"

A growl in response. The doe frowned. She didn't expect the doomed deer to understand her, but still, she was fascinated. A few paces off, Ammy noticed her approach, stood, and led Taiko over. "I wouldn't get too close," she murmured. "Poor thing. She's been stuck like that for years." Pan glanced over at them before her gaze returned to the ravaged creature. Taiko shivered. "She's not safe. Cursed to stay in there forever. If you let her out..."
