Happenstance (did i spell that right? XD)

It rained. It rained for quite a while. This had been the second day of the nonstop downpour, and nobody knew when it would stop. It seemed darker than usual, causing bats and owls to come about. Along with the rain, red petals fell from nowhere like somber leaves. The strange weather was a celebration, a commemoration to those who were not among the living.

A stag stood by the Pond, gazing at his reflection. His black pelt shined in the damp atmosphere, making the skeletal patterns shine even brighter. His antlers twitched. The short, black protrusions came to a hand-like shape at the end. And that's just what they were. They could move, stretch, bend, anything you wouldn't expect an antler to do. But when not in use, they stood in their rightful place, the occasional twitch catching anyone looking off guard.

His face was the same color black. Dull scarlet eyes peered at the water, looking more through the reflection rather than at it. Green strikes marked his upper eyes, and his top lip seemed to be shaded lighter than his pelt.

He didn't appear here often. Or anywhere at all, really. It was the weather that brought him out. In a normal, cloudless day in the Forest, he was a cheerful teenager. He bounced and bound with the others, without a care in the world. But the clouds hung over the Forest, blocking all possible light from reaching him. It made him a little less cheery. And soon all his emotion was gone. Nothing left but an unfeeling, logical stag, almost mechanical in his thinking. Never exaggerating his voice or actions, not one sign of feeling or emotion.

He continued to stare at the water, when something caught his bloodred eyes. A doe was not too far away. He had heard of this one before. Of course, he didn't react in any special way, he couldn't. He noted her presence, and returned to staring. But she came over to him.

Taint got really bored

So she forced Anzel-minion to design some sets. So, I present, Taint's idea of what Plume should look like:

x3

Just random ideas. If you ever get bored of your set, swipe on of these XD;;;

((btw - if the beluga pelt seems random...you haven't seen close-ups of the eyes. <3))

Fae dance no more (a random entry)

First thing: The servers.

So confusing. I wish I knew what was wrong, and that I was believed. I'm pretty certain that there is a problem between me and the normal server that doesn't exist between me and the back-up server. Not sure what it is, but it exists. Wish I knew what.

Second thing: Dream.

Last night, I had a dream. In it, was a beautiful watercolor painting of a waking Plumeria, whose set, in my dream, was perfect, because it was just close enough to Taint's, but just different enough not to be her. I woke up to realize it was actually Taint's set. Now I'm gonna go set-sneezing to find out if such a set exists, though x3

Third thing: Aspirin.

Argh. I'm afraid. I've got a killer migraine, feels like a brainfreeze that won't go away, two icepicks on the backs of my eyes. My eyes hurt to the touch. My head hurts and pulses. UGH. I want to stop using aspirin/etc. and just wait it out, but it's been hours and hours. It hurts so badly. x.x I hope I only need one dose. I'm sick of taking aspirin. *bad pun*

Fourth thing: ...ugh.

Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh. I can't think straight. x.x

Why is it called a bandwagon?

Don't you ever wonder where the origin of phrases come from? How they started and why? I do that every so often.

Like the term "saved by the bell" was actually something very macabre. Way back when, before all of our modern medicines and doctors who actually knew what they were doing, lots of people got sick and died. So many people in fact, that their coffins were stacked one on top of the other when buried. The only problem was, was that some people were not dead when they were buried. The doctors couldn't tell which ones were the ones who died from the sickness, or which ones were just sick, and so they buried them all. Well, more people were dying from being buried alive, and that was just not playing so well. So someone came up with this system were they would put a stake in the ground above the grave with a bell on it. from the bell ran a cable that passed through all of the coffins buried in the grave. If someone in the coffin were to wake up and go, "hey, wait a minute. I'm not dead!" all they would have to do is pull the cable and the person on watch would hear the bell and come dig them out. This actually saved quite a lot of people's lives. so they developed the phrase, "saved by the bell".

M'kay, now that Cato's history lesson is over, let's move on, shall we?

Ask any of my two deer and my Egyptian Oryx, any question you want.

Atiq, Lier, and Adel are bored and wouldn't mind a nice chat CX
