Don't you ever wonder where the origin of phrases come from? How they started and why? I do that every so often.
Like the term "saved by the bell" was actually something very macabre. Way back when, before all of our modern medicines and doctors who actually knew what they were doing, lots of people got sick and died. So many people in fact, that their coffins were stacked one on top of the other when buried. The only problem was, was that some people were not dead when they were buried. The doctors couldn't tell which ones were the ones who died from the sickness, or which ones were just sick, and so they buried them all. Well, more people were dying from being buried alive, and that was just not playing so well. So someone came up with this system were they would put a stake in the ground above the grave with a bell on it. from the bell ran a cable that passed through all of the coffins buried in the grave. If someone in the coffin were to wake up and go, "hey, wait a minute. I'm not dead!" all they would have to do is pull the cable and the person on watch would hear the bell and come dig them out. This actually saved quite a lot of people's lives. so they developed the phrase, "saved by the bell".
M'kay, now that Cato's history lesson is over, let's move on, shall we?
Ask any of my two deer and my Egyptian Oryx, any question you want.
Atiq, Lier, and Adel are bored and wouldn't mind a nice chat CX
I wonder too... Especially
Questions:
1. What's you favourite spot in the Forest?
2. Are you religious?
3. If so, do you pray a lot?
4. What do you find absolutely disgusting?
5. What do you think of your owner (Cato)? x3
Creativity = 0 today, sorry XD
To pray is to believe, to believe is to purify one's soul
To pray is to believe, to believe is to purify one's soul
I never knew that Cato! Your
Anyways. Yay. Question tyme c:
To everyone:
What word would you use to describe yourself?
To Cato:
Which deer are you more personally attached to? Least?
I'm sorry. not so good questions here. I'll try to get more creative x3
Atiq: Favorite food?
Lier: Favorite thing to do in the forest?
Adel: Which shift-shaping animal do you prefer the best?
And to all: Hi.
EMIVA'S BIOGRAPHY
I've heard of that
Anyway.
E.O. (Egyptian Oryx=
1.) When where you first born (A.K.A Created)?
2.) What do you do in a bad situation with another deer?

Randomness meh dear...
Feed Me!
Fenqua: XD words are strange
don't worry, my creativity = like, -42 today XD
Atiq-
1. My favorite spot....hmm...ah, there is a secret spot I share with Lacey in the Birch Forest. After my old spot was found out, she and I went looking for a new one, it is very warm and sunny there.
2. Religious, hmm, I guess you could say so. Where I come from we weren't founded on religion, but you could say that we were a spiritual people.
3. Actually, no, I have to admit that I do not pray very often.
4. Squirrels. I REALLY do not like the filthy, flea-ridden things.
5. Let's see.....Cato, well, she can be very cruel with how she directs our lives. She seems to enjoy watching us struggle through the twists she throws at us. But I would miss her insanity and laughter if she were to ever leave. I can tolerate her pretty well.
Lier-
1. I have a few favorite spots, each one has meaning to me. There is this one flower patch near the crying Idol where something important happened to me, and a small willow by the pond. That is where I was first found in the forest, after I got separated from the traveling fair.
2. No, I really can't say that I am.
3. Nope, not much of a praying person, I hardly ever approach the Twin God's hill, let alone pray there.
4. Burning plastic. You have not smelled disgusting until you have smelled burning plastic.
5. I love Cato, she seems very intimidating, but she's actually just a big softy on the inside. She also listens to my stories and tells me more to share with everyone.
Adel/Blank-
1. I mostly wander around the Ruins. I am most familiar with stone buildings and that place is the closest to home for me. Also, there is this one flower patch that gets a lot of sun, it warms me up quite well when the cold of the forest becomes too much.
2. Yes, I am very loyal to my gods, as a disciple of Osiris, I better be. Except for Bastet, she becomes rather annoying with her regular visits.
3. I pray now and then, my duty to them did not revolve around praying to them, so I did not bother with it too much.
4. Pine cones. All of you deer may like eating them, but they taste so earthy and they stick to my throat. Ugh, I feel like gagging just thinking about it.
5. Cato, meh, we tolerate each other. I think she likes me though, as long as she minds my personal bubble I'm fine.
Emiva:
lol, i know all sorts of useless stuff XD
Caring.
Cavalier
very clever, Lier >>;
Well that's what you get for pulling my name from a dictionary.
umm....uhh....Egypt?
Hmm...tough one, possibly Adel/Blank because he is part of a graphic novel project I will be working on in the future, and he is a very special character in it, and I just fell in love with the character dynamics and the characters themselves, they meshed so well and just created a fun environment whenever I thought about them. But I'm close to Atiq too, because he was my first deer. And I love my Lier deer, lol, I guess I'm attached to them all XD
hmm...I like buttercups C:
I love to run around and chase my friends, or sparring, or even just napping in the sun.
I've never shape-shifted before, but I saw a few bats that looked cool.
They all say hi back C:
And then I swear I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
Blackhoof: Adel: 1. hmmm, If
Adel:
1. hmmm, If you wanted to be technical, somewhere around 5,000 years ago, before the days of Tutankhamen, but as a character, I am fairly new, only about 3 months or so.
2. Depends, I may beat them to a pulp, walk a way, or if it is something sensitive, I'd be more gentle. I have never been good at socializing, so I do not react as one should. I spent most of my life in isolation, which meant that I had to be more defensive in order to survive. But I do have a heart.
3. Hmm, I'd say that it would be a secret. So sphinxes are not the only ones who ask riddles? Well then I have one for you:
It has no top or bottom but it can hold flesh, bones, and blood all at the same time. What is this object?
oh me, umm let's see:
1. hmm, no, not really. I usually draw on a whim, I get an urge to draw something and I draw it, i never really know what I am starting out with ^-^
2. Oh holy jeebus do I have characters XD I have a set for my Infanati project, and a set for the future Crusade of the Night project. Then there are a few nonsense ones thrown in between. I have a few favorites:
~Phantom: the demon horse, my oldest and most treasured character.
~ Darren: A specimen of a species I created called Songdren. He is one of the main characters in Infanati, and he is just so fun yo work with and draw.
~Loki: My forever wonderful muse, I doodle him most often and he is my conscience in physical form. He is with me wherever I go, inspiring me and nagging me all at once.
~Erin: Ireland's finest high strung teen. She is like a compliment to me and is like my doppleganger, i use her as the star for Infanati.
~The three stooges; Valen, Quinn, and Adel: oh boy, I can't wait to start on Crusade of the Night with these three, oh god will it be fun XD
3. Uhhhuummm...yeah, sometimes I put on a friendly face while inside I am in a horrible rage, but I am genuine around those I care about.
And then I swear I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
L-Lier? Do...d-do you n-not
No Shyla......I do I
And then I swear I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
Cato= *freaks
Durrr, is it a human? But then that wouldn't make any sense because we have a top and a bottum....Guhhh, fine then, what is this strange object?
Feed Me!
heh heh, it is a ring! I've
And then I swear I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
