The fawn soon found that he could run and jump with his long, gangly legs. Oh what a thrill! The wind in his face! He was flying. Just like the birds. Of course, he stumbled over himself many times, but he would always arise with a laugh and try again. He was a stubborn little fawn.

In his journey of discovery, he first came across a pond. The water was deep and dark. Maybe a little scary…

But the trees were pretty. They looked sad, though… why should they be sad?

Noises turned his ears. Three shapes in the distance. They looked like him but… bigger. With big branches on their heads. One was black with swirly designs. How pretty! The fawn looked at his own pelt with envy. Would they play with such a tiny, gangly, boring-colored fawn?

The fawn watched them for a while, but when the deer didn’t approach, he continued his exploration of the forest. The birds were more fun to play with anyway…

------------------------------------------------------------------

Another dream ended. Another day begun. Chenaniah opened his eyes, but stayed in his curled-up sleeping position. Somehow, he always felt much safer that way. Often he would lay down and hope they would suppose he was asleep…

Two days of hindsight had given him a different perspective of his last “adventure” in the forest. Different emotions, different feelings. Tangled like overgrown willow leaves. Must he sort through them all?

Human Lemon

I wasn't going to do this, but after playing the Sims for the first time in aaaages, and after creating a sim version of Lemon, I decided to join the bandwagon. I apologize for spamming with this worthless post. xD

I may add more to this later, or I may just let this post rot. We'll see. <3

For physical appearance, consider the famous painting by Villers. (image courtesy of Wikipedia)

* Is around 17 years old
* Named Lilly Madison Baroque (Lemon was just too crazy a name for the 1800s)
* Born on a farm in Maryland in the 1800s (no set year for the purpose of roleplay; may also be modern if needed).
* Her father murdered her mother in cold blood, and was arrested.
* Sent to live in an orphanage until she turned 17.
* Went blind at the age of 6.
* Usually wears fairly plain dresses, and a peacock-paisley headscarf. In place of the scarf, she may wear a peacock feather tucked into her hair (when it's fashioned), or a brooch with a peacock on it.
* Has long, pale, wavy blonde hair and extremely pale blue eyes. Her skin is very fair and white.
* Owns a pet raven named 'Robert Fairchild', or 'Robby'.
* Is a very serious and solemn girl, and can be a bit sarcastic.
* Has severe social anxiety, and prefers to be alone. If she can, she will hide from strangers.
* Very artistic, and is a talented pianist.

Attention?

Since I know that I won't get much notice from most people on here, I decided to post one of my poems. I really don't mind if anyone doesn't read this as I am posting it for my own pleasure. Besides it is always a nice little surprise when someone leaves a comment.

“My Savior”

During the days of my darkness
You were there, hidden just beyond my reach.
I cried out in pain
And I felt as if I had to fight alone.
You were there, watching with tears in Your eyes.
I turned inward, grieving.
You were there, waiting to hear me call Your name.
You guided me even when I was blinded to You.
You opened doors and yet I never paid You any attention.
I kept falling but You kept me from the abyss.
When You reached through to me
It was like a flame guiding me to Your path.
You laid out everything good in my life
Even when all I saw was the bad.
You gave me so many chances to turn to You.
When I returned home to You
You poured Your Spirit into my heart.
You broke down the barriers of my soul
And severed the agreements I made with the enemy.
You lifted me high so that I could see all that You had done.
You gave me a glimpse of heaven so that I may know Your greatness.
You told me that You chose me so that I may know acceptance.
You love me before anyone else
And showed me what true patience is.
I look into Your eyes and I see such wisdom.
Your beauty is amazing.
To read Your Word humbles my soul to
Know the many ways You are willing to forgive me.
You warn me of the consequences of sin
And You are always leading me closer to You.
I give my life to You, my Savior.

These days have been something of a flip flop between my deer.
I find I haven't been screenshotting too much lately... It might take a bit of memory straining to remember all that's happened.

On 1/23, Mar Sart had his second day in the forest. Out of the forest I had been trying to figure out the engine's files to find the lake's file, so I could get under it and find the abyss... No luck there yet. Regardless, back to the forest...

Mar decided on spending a good deal of the day running on the surface of the lake. He also did some water sitting and listened to the fish a while. Much like his sister, he could understand the fish below him. He was quite blown away when a stag appeared under the water, and started running around UNDER water. He was eventually persuaded to leave the water and was joined by said stag in running around. A few others eventually joined him for a while.

Though where did the day begin? Appearantly at the ruins...

sitting on the cage.

Water Sitting.

This was a rather fun group to be among.

the next day, was appearantly all Zerg. It was a long an eventful day, so it'll be in another journal... once I find all the right screenies.

Lemon's Journal - Jan 24-26th, 2009

The 24th was spent frolicking around with my two beloved friends, Seth and the Phantom. We wandered through the forest for quite some time, enjoying each other’s company more than anything. That uneasy feeling in me had still been there, tormenting me. I wanted to hide from every stranger who looked my way; something I’m sure they didn’t appreciate.

You know what really made my day, though? Seth and the Phantom getting along the way they do, that’s what. It just makes me so happy. Happier than I should be, really. But… I can’t help it. Seth and the Phantom are my two very dearest of friends. When my world is crashing down, I know I can count on one or the other to bring me up, again. Seth by bringing me light and making me laugh; the Phantom by comforting me and taking me away from all of the pain in the world, to a place where we can be alone. A good place.

And to know that both stags can at the very least tolerate each other, is more than I could ever ask for.

That night, I discovered that it was Faris’ stagday. Though I had only met the buck once, I had come to like him almost instantly. I had been having a sulky day as usual, laying alone on the bridge. Faris came and laid next to me for quite some time, keeping me company in the cold. Even when I fell asleep, he remained, ever watchful. When I finally did awaken, he followed me around for a while – to dance, and then to curl up in the warmth of the old oak.

Life, at time, becomes disjointed; it is a series of flickering moments, strung together, perhaps, by other moments, and then by darkness; the forest is a series of brief windows in the endlessly black tunnel of sleep. You take it in -- the golden dust mites, rising and falling on the wave-like winds, so subtle we cannot notice them; the often oppalescent dapling of the ground from where the soils and mossess intermingle; the swoop of a falling leaf, suspended in green spring as it plummets to the ground -- and then it is gone, and only the dreams remain.

Today, for example: today a danceline with Lemon scattered like a bomb of birds going off with the coming of a fawn casting the divine pelt; I am running with another stag after Lemon goes, whose pictogram I have seen, but cannot identify. I wrack my brain, trying to remember if I have seen his name, and not just him. All the while, we run seemingly without care, occasionally darting to help another deer get his set together.

The golden stag, Terrant, who I ran with not knowing he did not want to run with me, come close and sniffs me; 21's prescence, perhaps, has made him bold. Or perhaps it was that I learned my lesson, handled him with some caution this time. I am nervous; I bow. We are joined by another. We dance in a square; we sit in a square, and some of us, myself included, fall asleep. I dream of the four of us, watching myself sleep from a distance.

Monday Afternoon ~ Short Story

Liëka lay on the warm rocks, peering lazily through her lashes at her daughters a good few lopes away. They were chatting idly, and laughing together. Liëka smiled. FIU was a few years older than , but you wouldn't know it, their maturity levels were so low together. Such a good thing they get along so well.

She watched as they spontaneously burst out laughing, and wandered over to the Pond together.

Liëka didn't remember much from her childhood, but she did remember how other deer would comment on how mature she was. Not surprising, really. She was, after all, still a fawn when she had taken the great responsibility for Him. She smirked. Yes, that would make anyone grow up fast. And in a way, Liëka supposed that she had missed out. Ah, the teenage years, supposedly full of mania and fun, full of never-never-never-wanna-grow-up-ness, while she was studying ritual and sacrifice.

But what was she thinking! This was the Endless Forest, the place of dreams. Even 'adult' deer still had the never-wanna-grow-up-ness. Just think of all the great button-mashers! To hell with maturity! Liëka giggled to herself.
And speaking of which...

The purple-haired doe found that she could not, after all, ignore the racket coming from over yonder as well as she thought she could. As she listened, another loud clang hit her ears, followed briefly by loud exclamations. Grinning, Liëka roused herself and galloped over to the noise source.

"What are you two up to, then?"

Iranu looked round quickly.

"Oh-hai!"

Liëka raised an eyebrow.

"We were just examining this thing we found. Uvavu reckons he can get it going!" he explained happily.

Uvavu looked round from where he was crouched, delight all over his face, and a sliver of flint in his mouth.
