Rut 2017: Singingbird's Hub

Chantimagne- Prince of Flowers

Chantimagne is a young stag entering the Rut as a Challenger. Rather than being focused on fighting or finding mates, Chantimagne is much more interested in getting admired for his luxurious fur and shimmering antlers. Popular for his youthful looks and chivalrous bravado, Chantimagne has a chance in this years's rut- at least at being a crowd favorite.

He will compete in the Rut, but will nobly back down from a fight if he fears dirtying his coat or damaging his prized antlers. Judges who focus on form over function will likely favor him- he's definitely in this for style points.
See his full bio here.

Chantimagne walked through the forest to assess the competition and to strut around a bit. He got into one warm up match and then a proper sparring match with Ison, much to the glee of Graceanne. Limaria acted as judge, and seemed rather impressed with his performance.

Today, Chantimagne had a couple of good spars. Sparred with Haroten and then a few stags, and then spent some time with Jude and Steini. After a match with Fletcher, he decided to take a break out of concern for damaging his antlers.

Eldroth- Ghost of Flames

Eldroth is a stag of legend, felled by age and risen again to life by fire that burns within him. He is looking to enter the Rut for the sake of the sport of it.

Connection Error Question:

I finally got the game installed, big achievement, but I'm now having a totally different problem. I have full bars and my connection seems strong enough to be able to run the game online, yet the network continues to say: "Error". Is there something I'm doing wrong? I also searched up the requirements for TEF and appearently my computer doesn't have DirectPlay. Could this be the case or is there something else I should take note on?

~I would be so ever appreciated for any responses!

Blog Entry #1

After much consideration, I decided to join The Endless Community, and let me say that while I may be a few years late in joining, I will say that I look forward in familiarizing myself with the many traditions and events that take place here.

I've been interested in TEF for a good while ever since I've stumbled upon it on the internet. While the deer design took me by surprise at first, I slowly began to admire the artistic and calm nature of it, as well as the many lovely pelts, antlers and masks one can use to become more unique.

I plan to explore the community and get to know people, it seems as a tranquil, yet closely knit place. I hope to roam the forest with everyone else.

So Chrome broke Flash again...

So this is happening again. Chrome must really hate Flash.

The old fix no I posted here longer works. If anyone has a solution, please share.

Installing The Game Question:

To be completely honest, I'm not exactly a tech whiz so I barely know how to use my own computer. I'm trying my best to install 'The Endless Forest', but when I try to finish the setup, User Account Control comes up with a prompt that says; "Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device?". Again, I'm not too keen with technology and this is certainly one of the first times I've come across this. I've researched a bit about it, yet I'm still concerned and wanted to ask someone with experience. Do I go ahead and say "Yes?" I'm worried that something might happen to the computer if I do press "Yes", but whenever I respond with a "No", it doesn't work/finish the process.

Ever since I first looked into this game, I've always wanted to try out and see what excitement I can get out of it, but now I'm scared about getting a possible virus or something along those lines. The game seems fun, but downloading things never did stick to me because of how cautious I am and I might regret my choices. This will also be the seocnd time playing a downloadable multiplayer game, although the one before never had the whole "User Account Control" prompt.

I might get an answer saying how blind I've been and I really do just press "Yes", or heck I might not even get an answer because of how dated this question will be, but this decision recently has been driving me up a wall. I extremely don't want to mess with anything that's too far out of my reach and rather not screw up the computer if possible. "Unknown Publisher" just doesn't seem trustworthy enough. I'm also new to the community website so if there's a better place to ask questions, let me know!

~Please and thank you to anyone who has the time on their hands to respond, it would really help me out!
