Returning after a gazillion years. Help?

Hey TEF community! So, I just re-downloaded this game after several years away! And well...I can't remember how to do anything! Ahaha

Could someone remind me if there was a way to bind actions to hotkeys? For some reason, I remember having that feature, but I can't quite figure it out.

Welcome back!
I can't remember exactly how to do it (my hotkeys never stick so I just use my mouse), but it's something like putting your arrow on the action you'd like to stick and then pressing the appropriate F key to bind it. I'm hoping someone else can give you better clarity.
