Have you ever wondered why so many fawn's pictos vanish? Here one day, gone the next without a trace? You've probably thought, like many, that their players simply abandoned them; that they quickly tired of the game, losing interest in it before their fawns aged up.
If only it were that innocent.
For a limited time, meet Pennystag at the ruins.
Learn how to float, watch him dance, and maybe get spooked by your favorite transdimensional, shapeshifting underground murder clown. He emerges from his pit in the ruins, and keeps his antics contained to the surrounding areas. Whether contorting himself between the stones, sticking his face through statues and headstones, or just generally lurking around, he's sure to entertain. So come one, come all! No need to be shy- step right up ! And don't forget to bring your raincoat!

Rut 2017: Singingbird's Hub
Chantimagne- Prince of Flowers
Chantimagne is a young stag entering the Rut as a Challenger. Rather than being focused on fighting or finding mates, Chantimagne is much more interested in getting admired for his luxurious fur and shimmering antlers. Popular for his youthful looks and chivalrous bravado, Chantimagne has a chance in this years's rut- at least at being a crowd favorite.
He will compete in the Rut, but will nobly back down from a fight if he fears dirtying his coat or damaging his prized antlers. Judges who focus on form over function will likely favor him- he's definitely in this for style points. See his full bio here.

Chantimagne walked through the forest to assess the competition and to strut around a bit. He got into one warm up match and then a proper sparring match with Ison, much to the glee of Graceanne. Limaria acted as judge, and seemed rather impressed with his performance.
10/4/2017
Today, Chantimagne had a couple of good spars. Sparred with Haroten and then a few stags, and then spent some time with Jude and Steini. After a match with Fletcher, he decided to take a break out of concern for damaging his antlers.
Eldroth- Ghost of Flames
Eldroth is a stag of legend, felled by age and risen again to life by fire that burns within him. He is looking to enter the Rut for the sake of the sport of it.

She has light gold, luminescent eyes. When light is low, the gold stripes on her pelt magically shimmer like gold or glow like fireflies, depending on her mood. The fur on her legs, face, ears, and tail is slightly darker than the fur on her neck and torso.
Her set has remained unchanged since I created her in 2008, though she did go through a phase of having the noh "doe" antlers.

Formerly, Sulwyn's pictogram was a "y" in a box, but that was an account I shared with a friend. Since the "Eternal Flame" picto was the first one I chose by myself (for Sulwyn's sister, Aris), I'm going to use it for Sulwyn from now on, and Aris will get a new picto along with a design rehaul.

This site wouldn't be ANYTHING without the time people give to building a thriving and welcoming community, and no amount of money can buy that <3

For raising money for the IndieGoGo campaign, I wanted to create some your character here slots for a winter/ vaguely christmas themed drawing of deer from the community :3 It will be a large group portrait, fully lined and colored, featuring the twin gods in a sleigh with flying deer pulling it, and deer looking on from the ground below in wonder.
The cost for each slot is listed below. Rather than paying me, you can claim a spot by making a donation to the forest's IndieGoGo campaign as "Sleigh- ______", where the blank is your forest username. If you have already donated and would like to retroactively sign up for this, that's fine too- as long as your signature on the campaign includes your username or character name ^^
Since this is a donation-based work rather than something where I'm asking for money for myself, the minimum cost for a slot is 16 euros. This is also for any retroactive sign-ups.
