Effortless [...?]

[X] [X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X][X]

[O]

The more time I spend around them the more I wish to stay away.
Effortless it is for them.
Completely effortless.

Diary of Romeo

Opening my eyes to the new day,the sun shines brightly blinding my eyes.
To awake in this new forest I sense a chance of redemption.A chance to start fresh. For these birds can sing their lively songs while flying with the wind. And other deer will act on their own impulses. But I am not alone even now,for these five angels hover over me.Taking no pleasure in the fact that we must stay together in order to live. To me it is not yet clear if other deer can see them, but most likely they will be able to feel their prescence. And even know while Im lost in thought I can see to fawns playing in the distance. Enjoying their dancing and their play-fighting. For a moment I almost think that I would join in on their games. But for now I will dismiss this thought and get a better look at this forest.Trotting around I look up at the sky and see the birds that fly. The forest seem so lively and joyess to day. Throughout my adventure I come across many pleasing things. My favorite spot so far is under the bridge. Which is where I will stop for now to take a rest. Ill close my eyes if only for a while for I am tired and have seen many sights today.

I have seen many woders
And I have heard many tales
But this forest
Is unlike anything I have experianced before
It always seems to have a flow
Of positive energy
Defeating the negative feelings and thougths
Entertaining only pleasant dreams
Surrounding us like a cloud.

Yellowstone National Park (a short story, not TEF related and please comment ^^ )

I wrote this down when I was bored, so it isn't perfect, Sticking out tongue

[=13][=purple]Yellowstone Valley stood silent and still that morning. The sky was beggining to be lit with the light of the burning hot sun. The many animals that inhabited the valley were asleep, deep in their dreams where nothing would hunt them, no winter would starve them.
Then there was movement.
Far up in the mountains a wolf emerged from her resting spot.
Her large pack were still asleep, hidden in cramped burrows, sheltered by trees. She imagined them huddling together for more warmth than their thick coats could provide.
Pressing her paws into the snow she managed to climb up to a ledge carved in the side of the great snow-topped mountain. From the ledge the wolf could see the entire valley, shrouded in the night's darkness.
Two golden orbs for eyes, flecked with green watched the horizon.
This particular part of the day was special to the young female.
Then what she was waiting for came alive. The top of the sun burst from the edge of the mountain peaks, it's great golden rays reached down and fed the valley life and day. The gold shimmered off the silver-white snow making it look as if each individual flake were a diamond.
The valley was rich in beauty.
The she-wolf threw back her head and howled, her eyes were shut and her ears were pinned back against her brown-grey fur. The howl sang out her thoughts and emotions into the sky. The plants and trees seemed to stand still and listen to the song.

An eagle beat it's powerful wings and sailed of the mountain side, a dusting of snow sprinkled off it's white tail feathers. He flew past the howling wolf and let out a cry of freedom and happiness, marking the new day. It's yellow eyes looked down at the valley below him, searching. He took in every detail.

Off to play, want to join?

Hey! I'm about to go jump in to TEF, and I was wondering if any one wanted to just come and hang about! I'll most likely hang about the pond for a while. My deers just a fawn, but um, yeah... I'll be off now and be quiet now...

Fog [short story]

Last night I fell into a restless sleep. It has been some time since we have had fog this thick, this heavy. It’s lingered for so long. I was glad for the company of my mate, my son, and my son’s new friend. After the events of the evening, it was hard for me to let myself relax. But with Wesker around, I soon found my eyelids drooping, and sleep finally finding its way to me… and I welcomed it as best I could.
------

I do not remember much of myself as a fawn before I came here. I don’t know if it is because my mind wishes it that way, or if it was because I was simply much too young. But every now and then, fragments of those times pop up into my mind…usually when I am sleeping. They take me to those days which I would rather forget..
Mountains were my home. Tall mountains with thousands of trees that seemed to stretch on forever. It was here that I opened my eyes for the first time. Winter was long here, but it was worth it for the summers. At least, that is what I heard from others in the herd I was born to. It was a small herd, mostly made up of does. Then there was my father.
Nowhere near as large as, well, say, Wesker, Sir Iaurdagnaire, or even Virgil.. But from where I came from, he was a formidable foe. He had survived many battles of the rut and battles for his life, and he had scars on his flank to prove it. He was not a kind stag. He didn’t have to be kind; that was not his role in life. He simply needed to make sure his fawns he fathered would make it to the next year. And that his does were not harmed.
I do remember the day he looked at me. With total disgust. My fur, my pelt, had never been the same color since the beginning; a bluish tint from the start. I, of course, smiled at him. I didn’t know any better. And then, his first words to me:

“Get it out of my sight.”

-----
For whatever strange reason in the next few weeks, my mother did not abandon me, although my father pressed, almost threatened her to.

Just a blog entry, yes , more questions.

Wow, I've never seen the forest in fog before...the dancing tune sounds different and theres bats everywhere!
And I keep hearing howling, is that a mask or a wolf...? o_O
I also saw a mask I have never seen before! It was red and green and yellow!

I'm probably telling you all stuff you already know but I'm just over-excited.
*deersqueal*

Update:

Can anyone help me think of names for two stags? ^.^
Most of my deer are does, apart from Sparx but his char is meant to be a fawn so I never play him in-forest.

I wanted to create some deer stags because some deers in the forest have antlers, which i have just realised, which are the spring ( i can't type properly, its 6 am nearly. :[ ) antler things.
When a stag sheds his antlers, they are small in spring growing to summer, the velvet skin coming off in autumn and then the antlers shedding in winter! ;3
I just thought everyone has an obsession with those antlers.
I thought they were minature bee's nests at first. o.o

"Knowledge Doesn't Lie With the Good..."

Keme

"...does it, Sir Osias?" He smiles bitterly, a strange sight on the fawn's face that is normally alight with laughter, curiosity, something innocent. Not today...something is strange about the fawn. His antlers have been growing in, now, fast in this magical forest...He will have his first set soon. Little candles, complete with a glowing flame, lay in front of the first tine, flickering in an odd beat with his heart and blinks.

He had found this deer because he sensed that Osias knew something, something that he wanted to know too.

He stares at him, sitting above the fawn like a king on his portion of the broken stone. Keme sits below, with no illusions. He is not a king, just a fawn. Just a fawn attracted to strange, often dark creatures, leading him to ones like the Demon sitting above him. The bitter smile fades as he begins to speak softly to himself, murmuring.

"My mother...adopted mother. I don't think she'd like you, Sir...But then again, she didn't even raise a hoof to say 'don't'. Not like Kaoori at all...I think she loves somebody more than me, Mister." He looks for confirmation from the Demon, then suddenly continues.

"It's this fawn...'Empty Child'. Miss Joro loves it...It'll be a fawn forever, you see, Mister Osias. Not like me," He looks up, attempting to see his own antlers, "'Cause I'll be a stag soon." He sighs and looks down, frowning.

"And she said she loved me too, but she didn't say 'forever'. I think she gave up on me..." He looks back up suddenly as the demon moves to sit beside him, for reasons he can't quite understand. Osias is warm, a welcome friend in the atmosphere of the mist he is so frightened of.
