Mariposa woke very early, one forest morning. She had fallen asleep in a patch of purple flowers, where she usually is always found. A butterfly interrupted her slumber as it landed on her cheek.

Mariposa jerked her head up in surprise and saw the butterfly fly away. She looked up and observed the butterflies fluttering all around her with a smile. Mari had always been fascinated how a butterfly could flit through the air, being with the air. Careful not to get in the way of the butterflies' paths, she got to her hooves. There were so many that scattered all around her! So many... Mariposa continued to watch them, getting dizzy from their circles and up-and-down pathways.

Then, Mariposa looked to the sky and was surprised to see that she had woke up oddly early than she normally would. The sun was barely shining through the trees and hills of The Endless Forest. Little flecks of pink and orange sprouted throug the sky, though was still dominated by the remaining shades of light blue.

Mariposa was going to go back to sleep, but decided against it because she was already wide away. With a yawn and a backward glance, the gentle doe trotted away from the purple flowers and the fluttering butterflies that she loved and treasured oh-so dearly.

The smell of baby,
A scientist to thank,
A doctor,
No hearing,
And new technology.
The child is deaf and was born not long ago, Ten days to be exact.
It's never heard the mothers voice and suddenly the words, 'Here we go' builds the insane amount of tension for every-one; Viewers and all. After those words from one others came from another 'It should be working.' The mother says 'Hello?' and The child's attention is on her. The newly born human smiles and eyes sparkle like some rare crystal found from a newly made cave. It seemed so unreal although no one could obviously hear what the child's thinking/ Trying to say or even hearing, (If it was even hearing anything) but the sudden attention it gave to it's mother was astonishing. ♥
