I never knew this feeling
My heart first felt
A strange and unfamiliar emotion

That crashed into me
Like the waves of a sea
The sky didn't part
To reveal a rainbow

But the clouds were whiter
And the birds started singing their song
But at first it went unnoticed
I tried to fight this emotion
Retaliating with a vengence

Our quarreling became regular bantering
I tried to shove you away
But by some unknown force
I kept encountering you
I was never a person to cling to one for company

However,I grew accustomed to you
And expected our encounters and your company
Until one day I discovered you left
I froze and my world seem to loose it's color
Your voice and laughter started ringing in my head

Foolish have I been
So cautious so unsure of what this feeling was
Till your gone
A tear slips from my eye
An unseen thing to be witnessed in public

But it's real and this feeling for you is real
And I can't let it slip away
I race off torwards your destination
